SHINee has always been SM's experimental group so their songs are a variety of genres. SHINee is what I consider to be a Korean friendly group, and by that I mean that the title tracks that are chosen to do well commercially. Which is why I don't think you are as connected to SHINee as other SM groups. While I adore their title songs, where SHINee truly shines is their B-sides and live performances. SHINee has such great members who each bring a certain flair to their music and group dynamic. Onew is the foundation and has such a full and stable voice, he really is a great leader who cares for all his members. Jonghyun is a great producer and lyricist that we all love for his creativity, and those unique emotional heavenly vocals that he brings to songs. Taemin is a phenomenal dancer and singer who has always given his all and he shows that in this solo work and in SHINee, like Jonghyun Taemin has a light airy vocal, but man does he surprise us with those high notes. Key and Minho on the other hand are the wild cards of SHINee, they are both multi-talented as rappers and singers, actors , and have such vibrant personalities that really shine on variety shows which is great for when they are promoting. A lot of people tend to dismiss Key and Minho, but I really feel as though they are the heart of the group. I think by watching guides you will see just how diverse and amazing SHINee is :) They really are a one of a kind group and I hope you come to love them as much as us Shawols love and adore them. I would recommend SHINee- Dream Girl: ruclips.net/video/vhxjEXDAy6s/видео.html SHINee- Everybody: ruclips.net/video/hKbNV-4b_g8/видео.html SHINee- 1of 1 : ruclips.net/video/WJua7KEP_oE/видео.html Think these songs really show off all the members talents and represent the various colors of SHINee :)
Not only does Key have a great voice, he is literally one of the funniest people in the industry. Also, we live for Taemin high notes and Taemin bridges.
Welcome to the SM Stan club, where we support every SM artist because they’re all so freakin iconic☺️ The thing about Shinee is they were marketed by SM as an experimental group. So you’re bound to like some songs and not others, they’ve basically experimented with every genre of music and tried every concept there is to know. And yes, that pretty person with the long hair was Taemin, the same guy you saw in Move, Criminal, and IDEA. Jonghyun actually wrote and composed View, he was truly a talented artist. View is about the guys just escaping the harsh idol life and just releasing everything for a single day to live a normal life.
OMG SIR AUSTIN I CACKLED when you said “who’s that girl” at the start and then “When SM liked Jess... ok cut” LMAO 🤣 Thanks for reacting to SHINee! Our princes of kpop 🥰 They are amazing! I’m a hardcore EXO L but after EXO it’s SHINee without a doubt for me! They are amazing! Both as a group and individuals! The one you’re posting to who it is, it’s KEY (real name Kim Kibum) our savage diva! He’s so cool an amazing 😂❤️ They are amazing as soloist too! All of them have solo stuff already! Taemin and Jonghyun are the ones with most solo discography. I know you’ll enjoy a lot not only Taemin’s but Jonghyun’ da lot too! Please react to “End of a Day” That songs makes us cry every single time. The most comforting song in this life after a though day. It has saved a lot of lives I’m sure. I think you’re having a bit of a harder time with SHINee bc you started a lot with their old songs that are more experimental and confusing and sooo 2000 hahaha. But you’ll love them 🥰 please react to their live stage of “Excuse Me Miss” it’s sooo goood! And our leader Onew’s rendition of “Nessun Dorma”!!! So goooood.
Key is my ultimate bias, love the song and video for his solo song "Forever Yours". His fans, myself included are called "Lockets" (geddit?). There's a live stage for the SHINee b-side "Odd Eye" where he is COMING FOR YOU. To me SHINee's most iconic songs are "Dream Girl" and "Everybody" but both of them are A LOT TO TAKE IN, even moreso than "Sherlock". Oh the live stage of their Japanese song "Password" is magnificent. Two songs that have great personal meaning to me are "Picasso" and "Breaking News" and there are several great live stages of both. My fave of the late great Jonghyun is "White T-Shirt" where he is giving you early Marvin Gaye, no video but some great live stages
Also I have to say I've enjoyed the evolution of Key's voice. He's always been the most expressive of the group, but he's gained a lot of technical ability over the years, and is incredible now. He's always been called The Almighty Key, with reason
There's an old video where Key is walking around in London and tells some people the he is "the visual, not the vocal" in the group he is in. Modest then, absolutely false now
thanks for the reaction. SHINee was created as an experimental group and you started with their old songs, which demonstrated their experiments with music in full. The song Sherlock is a hybrid of two songs Clue and Note, and it was a great experiment, which according to the Rolling Stone magazine entered the rating of the best songs of boy bands of all time and was at 12th! of the 50 songs of the world in this rating. SHINee has a huge discography for 12 years, they are one of the most productive groups in K-pop. Please, listen to their great, melodic ballads, they have many songs with great harmony, they have something to surprise you just watch them more, I'm sure you will have a lot to add to your playlist. Be sure to check out their live performances and concerts. Dream Girl, Why So Serious, Married to the Music, Dazzling Girl will immerse you in the atmosphere of musicals. Juliette, Excuse Me Miss, Stranger, Evil, Spoiler, Dynamite, Quasimodo, Good evening, 1 of 1, Tell Me What to Do, Orgel, Graze, An Encore, Don't Let Me Go- they embraced a lot of styles in their work, be sure to take the time to listen to this, you will not be disappointed. Sorry for my english, best wishes to you from Russia.
The one whose voice you liked the most is the almighty Key. He is also a rapper along with Minho. Hope you can check out A Very SHINee Guide too. If you're into live performances, I suggest Stranger from SWC, and Excuse Me Miss.
I just wanted to add up that though Key usually raps or sings the main melody, his vocal range is actually impressing - back in the days he was the one doing the majority of harmonies with Jonghyun and though his low notes and rap are so good, don't underestimate his incredibly high notes too xDD I think Key was that first one who you could call an all-rounder idol back at that time. And as shawol, back in the day, I considered Jonghyun, Onew and Key as the main vocalists, and now when Taemin got so much better he definitely deserves to be called the main vocalist too
@@Sandra4ka246810 yes.. especially on the ballads like An Ode To You and From Now On. I really love his voice especially when he sings the high notes (remembering Like a Fire). I also think he is one complete package. I always get drawn to him during live performances and he is the one who usually hypes up the audience.
If you want to listen to other songs by them I recommend "Everybody"(underrated bop), "Married to the Music", "Tell me what to do", "1 of 1" and "Good evening". Their live performances are next level, they are really good! The guy you pointed out with the buzz cut is Key and the handsome one is Minho. Taemin is the maknae and Onew (unique voice, the one whose hair you liked in Sherlock) is the leader
I don't know if someone else has pointed this out already, but some fans (me included) like to think that the fox seen at the beginning in the mv represents Jonghyun (the fox is seen in other mvs). Also, 12:00 that guy, my friend, is none other than the legend himself Kim Kibum, better known by his stage name Key. His voice is amazing and his personality even more. You should check some of his solo work and some videos to get to know SHINee better.
@@chogiwa61_13 Just curious is Jonghyun also a MJ fan? I've watched people imitating Jonghyun but they turned out sounding like imitating MJ. And The Little Prince is also a fav of MJ.
@@zhulin2531 I don’t know if fan is the right word, I know MJ was an influence for sure. But I honestly don’t know that much about Jonghyun. Hopefully someone with deeper insight can let us both know😊
@@zhulin2531 I think he was an influence, when they did the special MJ stage with several other SM artist Jonghyun was one of the main vocals cause he came the closest to how MJ sounded.
SHINee is such a great KPop group! They're dubbed the princes of KPop with the amount of skills they have. If you like pure vocals, I recommend you watch Jonghyun's performance of "Y Si Fuera Ella". It's one of Jonghyun's most powerful performances that can just move you with how emotional it gets. Also check out their new B-side called "Marry You"! It's for their new album "Don't Call Me" that will release Feb. 22. SHINee guides are great to know more about them. Hope to see more reactions of this wonderful group!
The guy with the voice you like is Key "kibum" he has a very sassy personality👌 you should check "one those nights" and "born to shine" by him but be carefully, he is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Came here to mention Born To Shine, which Key wrote. The day it came up on my RUclips algorithm was eye opening, and now beautiful Key is my Taemin bias wrecker!
SM likes to co-star their artists in the group’s music videos. And you’re right, that was when sm loves Jessica 🥺 she got a lot of singing parts in songs, starring in drama. But then the issue happened, they treated like she never existed which is so sad
Shinee’s vocal to me is legendary. I’m not deep into them but I really Look up to their personalities and Talents. SM artists are really something extraordinary in this world.
I highly recommend checking out their live performances. These dudes are the live performance kings. FYI if you're a Minho fan you won't be able to handle Dynamite live stage
If You like SHINee new stuff then countless and good evening are great next. Sherlock is one of Kpop’s most iconic songs, it was a comeback for when SHINee came back to Korea from London(they were the first kpop group to be invited to perform there). It’s a hype song pretty much and amazing live. If you like Keys voice he has a very unique synthy solo career and a duo called Twoheart. As well as he has a main part in SHINee Stranger(live performance is ungodly good) and Odd eye(dont watch the inkiyago live perf if you think these guys are handsome because you will die)
I never clicked so fast lol. Finally a SHINee reaction from you! Thank you!! I wish you could react to SHINee live perfomances because they are so good singing live and really bad at lipsync to the point of funny. Their concerts are explendid, so why dont you react to any of it. Hope you'll like it despite the fact that their song would be hit or miss for some people, they have a contamporary concept so they experiment with a lot of genre and never stick to one concept.
I know you appreciate vocals so if you get the chance watch Jonghyun and Onew sing their duet Please, Don’t Go. It was from an early album and they didn’t perform it much until the SHINee World V tour...beautiful performance and catapulted the song into my top 5 of their entire discography. So glad you recognized Jessica, the members of SHINee were particularly close to members of SNSD (they all adored Minho, Sooyoung especially) and all members were very close to all the f(x) girls as well.
SHINee is like f(x)'s counterpart, like how SNSD and SUPER JUNIOR was, having that 'Shining Effects' monicker running around not until some managements stuffs really halted these 2 from peaking always. No one's coming out of the SM Syndrome once you've really started on it. So far NCT's the only group you have yet to react, and it's like the group with the opposite of how the Graduation System works (re: member graduating after a while and a new member comes in; was used by the group After School).
Please react to their live stages: Evil Dynamite Excuse me miss Odd eye Replay My other fav song that i suggest you should check out: Countless Good evening 1 of 1 Tell me what to do Married to the music
Thank you for reacting to more SHINee ❤️ You should totally check out their MVs for Married to the Music and 1of1. Also I think you would really enjoy their live performances of Excuse Me Miss and Odd Eye. I feel like you’ll probably like these songs MUCH better than stuff like Ring Ding Dong and Sherlock 😂☺️
To understand what is happening in SHINee's "I want You" MV you need to know that it had only been about 6 1/2 months when this MV came out since Jonghyun, SHINee's main vocalist, died -- he died Dec. 18, 2017 -- and this album is all about how SHINee and Shawols have been grieving and are finally ready to begin to heal and come out of the darkness into the light. The album is called The Story of Light and it's all about finding the light out of the darkness, etc. It's about how the members are learning to continue on without Jonghyun and find happiness and light in a situation that will forever be difficult. This MV was part of SHINee's 10th anniversary celebration, so this was also important because it was part of their comeback to commemorate their 10 years as a group. The story in the "I Want You" MV is connected to the story from their "Good Evening" MV. The "Good Evening" story is about the grieving process and how the members all dealt with Jonghyun's death in the public eye. In "I Want You" it's a continuation of that story, however, now it's about how the members are learning to find happiness again. Like in Alice in Wonderland, where Alice follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and discovers a magical wonderland. In the "I want you" MV the members follow the fox (which is supposed to represent Jonghyun) into the magical well on a journey to find happiness. The fox represents Jonghyun's spirit as he helps guide the rest of SHINee through life. You also see SHINee in space catching diamonds because the diamonds represent SHINee, Shawols and Jonghyun. SHINee's symbol is a diamond and the group was given the name SHINee because the members shine like stars. They are collecting diamonds to show just how important the group and everything to do with SHINee is to them. Jonghyun is now our "Diamond in the Sky." One reason SHINee are in space is thought to be because being in space is closer to Heaven and closer to Jonghyun. Plus, Jonghyun really loved the moon. It was even said that the moon turned a pearl aqua color -- SHINee's fan color -- the day of Jonghyun's funeral. And fans took comfort in the fact that this meant that his spirit had made it to Heaven and that he was now at peace. This MV is supposed to show how SHINee sees themselves and how they are dealing with everything that happened, which is different than how in "Good Evening" they feel the general public sees them. Everything from SHINee's Story of Light album is linked and the entire album is about different things to do with Jonghyun and the journey they have been on for the past 10 years, etc. And even Key's solo debut album and Onew's solo debut are sort of connected to these MVs. As I mentioned, this comeback is part of a three part release celebrating SHINee's 10th anniversary. So they released 3 mini albums with 5 songs each in their The Story of Light trilogy and they had 3 comebacks each 2 weeks apart to showcase their lead track on each of their albums. "Good Evening" and "All Day All Night" were their comeback tracks from Episode 1, " I Want You" and "Who Waits for Love" were their comebacks from Episode 2 and Episode 3 was "Our Page" and "Tonight". Their comeback lasted 6 weeks to represent the fact that it was SHINee's 6th "full length" album. We were so spoiled this comeback; it felt so nice to see them doing what they love again. At the end of the six weeks they released a special final MV to celebrate their anniversary and all they have been through over the past 10 years with their song "Countless." "Countless" was an epilogue track that was added to their repackaged Story of Light album. Key is the one with the short haircut and he is a lead vocalist and sub-rapper, as well as the fashionista of the group. He is the one that designs many of SHINee's looks for their MVs and concerts. If you like his voice then you have to check out all of his songs from his solo debut album Face which came out in 2018 right before his military enlistment. I am pretty sure you will like all of his songs. The tall one that you like is Minho, and of course you think he is handsome, that's just a given. He is the main rapper and sub-vocalist, as well as the visual of the group. He is also one of the top actor in the industry and you can find him starring in a lot of K-dramas and movies. He is known for his natural model good looks. He is also a top athlete and he plays almost every sport.
I'm crying I swear y'all I have commented about SHINee many times and I really was patient cuz ofcourse Sir Austin is busy ya know but HE FINALLY REACTED TO IT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR AUSTIN!!!! tRY CHecking some SHINee moments like "SHINee being comedians without even trying" cuz THE CRACKHEAD ENERGY!!!
Minho's solo song I'm home. He is the hottest man alive in the mv. The suits! He looks so good in a suit. He has always been in my top 5 hottest man list.
"View" came out in 2015 and it is one of numerous songs that was wrote and co-composed by Jonghyun, SHINee main vocalist, the one in the Guns and Roses T-Shirt. Jonghyun is highly respected as a singer/songwriter and he was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Minho has way more than just great arms, wait until you see SHINee's concert performance of "Dynamite." LOL Minho has actually won an award for having the best abs in Asia and he is almost obsessed with working out. Plus, he was born to be a model, so his body has been chiseled by the gods. He is a work of art. But you will soon discover that all the members of SHINee have amazing bodies. They have to keep fit in order to be able to sing live for more than 3 hours while dancing that choreography and still look and sound flawless the whole time. :D Fun fact: This MV was filmed in Thailand, so the actresses are all Thai. The funny thing is, the girls don't speak Korean. The SHINee members said they really didn't interact much with the girls when not filming because they couldn't communicate with them. If you look up the English translation of the lyrics for "View" you will see that the song is about being mesmerized and sort of brainwashed by the beautiful view as seen within a dream. The MV seems to be about living in the dream of being like a normal group of young men hanging out with friends and having fun in the summer without anything to worry about. However, SHINee have been kidnapped by the girls, and although they end up having fun hanging out together, I think why we hear the police sirens at the end is because the police are coming to rescue SHINee. If you notice, even though they are having fun most of the time, whenever the girls get close to them, SHINee pushes them away, or looks away. So SHINee are not necessarily 100% OK with everything that is happening. And, if you want to see how much fun they had making the MV, you should check out the behind the scenes footage. Part 1: ruclips.net/video/Q4Qj-W3-KcI/видео.html and Part 2: ruclips.net/video/awMLgONRV1c/видео.html To see SHINee's "View" choreography better you will have to check out a comeback stage or, better yet, one of their concert performances of "View." :D You really need to see a live version to appreciate it. Nothing is better than SHINee live. ;D SHINee's whole concept as SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, means that EVERY song you hear from them will be completely different from anything you have ever heard, even on the same album. SHINee are known for setting trends, never following them. When it comes to their music and choreography they are expected to come up with something that has never been done before, not just in the Kpop industry, but something unique and trendsetting that has never been seen or heard before in the world music scene. EVERYTHING SHINee does is unique and groundbreaking and yet it always sounds and feels like SHINee. :D The Kpop industry actually looks to SHINee to tell them what the next style and sound will be. So after more than a decade, they have pretty much done it all, and yet they are still smashing records and changing the industry with every new song. It is said that within 3 months of SHINee releasing a new song, that you will see the same music style and choreography being depicted in every new comeback from both boy groups and girl groups. When SHINee does something the industry takes notice and follows suite. There is almost no group that has better harmonies and vocals than SHINee. They are one of the most well rounded groups in Kpop that excel at every aspect of the entertainment industry. They are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. And everyone looks up to them. They are considered Idols' Idols. SHINee's rappers are lead vocalists and their main vocalists can hold their own as rappers. There is almost nothing they can't do. About the ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. So when you hear them sing about 95% of the time it will be live. And they have trained their entire career to be able to sing live while performing really complex choreography and always sound flawless. They have built a reputation for sounding even better live then they do in their studio recordings. And even other Idols have said, when they perform at the same events as SHINee, they are even blown away by how perfect SHINee's raw vocals sound as they listen to them from backstage. Check out a compilation video called "SHINee Setting the Bar so High That No One Can Reach it." ruclips.net/video/bb80xyEHEoQ/видео.html
Also the friendship of Key and Jonghyun was one of K-Pop's most legendary skinships, "Jongkey is real" was a big thing in the early 2010s. And there is no doubt that there was some kind of love care and adoration between the two. Key is a very compassionate person, and could always see the sensitivity and hurt in Jonghyun, and always took good care of his good friend, you can see the appreciation in Jjongs looks at Key in all sorts of videos
Please react to shinee's live stages!! They are legendaryyyy and their latest pre-released bside 'marry you'. And they all have their own solos!! They uploaded their performances in shinee's official channel. You can totally see their own style when performing their own solos
Honestly Minho is so god dang handsome. They are all so talented. Also the leader Onew has sang some opera in the past and it has such a cool story behind it.
SHINee were known for being the best performers/dancers during their time. Watching a few live performances (especially “Sherlock” or “everybody” will leave you speechless 😂😂😂 F(x) were molded to be their sister group and so their overall concept was to be experimental and fashion forward with their looks. Sherlock (clue + note) is actually two separate songs from their album that were rolled into one to be a comeback lol. I can see how it might be a little jarring at first.
you definitely need to check out their live performance for their latest b-side track under their upcoming album. It is called *Marry You* this song is heaven. TOP-TIER i must say...
I hope you could react to "Tell Me What To Do" by Shinee, it's such a great song! By the way, your reactions are great as usual, looking forward to other videos from you ❤️
other people have already mentioned the one whose voice you liked was Key (has a solo album out with some cool features on the title tracks would recommend!!) he was also the one in View whose eyes you mentioned :) and of course Minho, the guy on Instagram (BRO the teasers they're putting out for their new album... immaculate) and the one you called handsome. He's an actor too! They're the two rappers, but Key does a bunch of vocals too, and Minho to a lesser extent. In your previous reaction, you mentioned Onew as your favorite in the first bit of Ring Ding Dong (lol) and the middle of Lucifer, and you liked Key's flow and Minho's mullet (lol again). In Lucifer you said you "liked the guy in the middle with the long hair" who turned out to be Taemin (looool) and after Minho's verse you were like "everyone knows I typically like the rapper the most." Replay you said Key was handsome but I don't think that was what you wanted people to remind you of... (he is tho).
Every release you can expect something different from them - from the sound, vibe, style, look and so on.. Hence there’ll always be one you’ll like. But the interesting thing is that people would still recognize it as having “THAT SHINee SOUND” or “It’s SHINee Like”, either fans, critics or the general public. Their branding is so strong but not linked to a specific genre, style or sound. Voices all unique too. They're very versatile artists.
That's SHINee for you, pure greatness. And pretty much no one will argue with you on that fact. LOL :D "Sherlock" is a special song that combines 2 songs from SHINee's album "Clue" and "Note." That's why the title of this MV is "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" If you were to listen to the album you would see that they are two separate songs, but when combined they become "Sherlock." So, in the MV you hear the mashup of the two songs. (Just like with SuperM's new song "One (Monster & Infinity)") In the MV the boys are Sherlock-like detectives who are looking for clues in the spooky mansion. And yes, the 'ghost" girl -- who is played by Jessica Jung, the former member of Girls Generation -- is helping SHINee solve a mystery by leaving them clues. At the end they realize that the girl they have been seeing and chasing after all day is actually the girl that was originally involved in the mystery when they find an article talking about her from 1910 and they discover that they must have been seeing a ghost. Fun fact: As you noticed, the brand name on the computer was iWatson. Like Sherlock Holmes' sidekick Watson. The computer helped SHINee solve the mystery.
And, yet again, this was the era of Taemin with long hair. Although, in the MV, Taemin's really long hair was a wig. If you notice he only has long straight hair during the dance breaks, but during the story sections his hair is much shorter and kind of curly. However, he really did grow his hair long for a while. Taemin with long hair is one of his most iconic looks. I didn't really like Taemin's wig look, but Taemin with naturally long hair is one of my favorites. (He is actually known for making girls jealous because his hair is so perfect.) Many people thing that Taemin with long hair made him look pretty like a girl, but I actually thing it's kind of a masculine look on him. As you mentioned, "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" came out in 2012 -- 4 years after "Reply." So Taemin is now 17 in this MV. Taemin's hairstyle also made him one of the most popular of the members with their Japanese fans. This was the era of when SHINee really started to solidify themselves as Japanese artists, so Taemin's look had Japanese fans gravitating to them. (SHINee debuted in Japan in 2011 and now they are considered one of the most popular artists in Japan. They are so popular that they are part of the mainstream music scene and most Japanese citizens don't even consider them foreign artists. They spend about 50% of their career in Japan, so they are fluent in Japanese and they have just as many Japanese albums and songs as they do Korean. They don't just remake Japanese versions of their Korean songs, but they produce songs exclusively for their Japanese albums as well.) The choreography for "Sherlock" was created by Tony Testa a very well-known "Hollywood"-famous American choreographer who has also worked with some of the most famous artists, productions and dancers in the world, including Michael Jackson. "Sherlock" was the first time SM (or pretty much anyone in the Kpop industry) had ever used a famous choreographer, and at the time, it was the most expensive Kpop production ever. Once again, SHINee were trendsetters and because of SHINee's skill level, SM became the first to see the value in using a well-known choreographer to help create their dances and to strive for a level of choreography and video production that surpassed anything that had ever been done before. Today it's common place for Kpop companies to have really famous in-house choreographers, and to seek out people in the industry who are really making a name for themselves to choreograph for them, but SHINee was one of the first. If you want to see the choreography for "Sherlock" better you should check out SHINee's "Sherlock" dance practice video and the performance version MV, or better yet, one of their live concert performances of "Sherlock." I recommend their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul from 2015. ruclips.net/video/M4pINahBoRY/видео.html
So glad you gave SHINee a chance again! They are very much experimental with their music, so each MV gives you such whiplash in terms of concepts and genres. When I saw the title of this vid I thought that that’s a very weird mix of songs hahaha but hey the beauty of SHINee is never knowing what to expect. Thank you for being honest in your reactions though! I would say Sherlock is much better when they perform it live, especially the concert remix where Jonghyun went extra hard in the bridge. If you still wanna react to SHINee in the future I would recommend these MVs: Dream Girl 1 of 1 Married to the Music Thanks again for this reaction!
Yeeees! Shinee it’s an iconic group, amazing vocals and performance always on point. You’re gonna love Married to the music, symptoms(live of course) and everybody. Super recommend!
The thing with SHINee.. They don't have that specific genre. In fact they are called a contemporary group. They tend to introduce a genre or mix thereof to the kpop scene, hence they are considered the trendsetters. Example, Sherlock was the first hybrid (2 diff. songs combined) song in kpop. View introed the deep house genre in kpop. They start trends with their every release.
I would say SHINee is more of a performance oriented group with *contemporary concept* because they rely a lot with their *CHOREOGRAPHIES* . Their older releases are either a hit or a miss for some people because SM treated them as the experimental group like f(x). So bear in mind if you react to SHINee, you might want to consider to react to their dance practices too. Their newer releases are much more calmer since "View" era (2014). It becomes much more prominent with their newer release in 2018. Here I list their newer releases before they comeback at the end of this February. 1) *I want You* (The one you reacted. I believe this is not a main comeback, but more like a repackage or something) 2) *Good Evening* (This is the main comeback in 2018 after Jonghyun passed away. I really recommend you to watch the dance practice or live performance on music show. But I highly suggest DANCE PRACTICE 😭) 3) *1of1* (a retro concept which pretty sure your taste) 4) *Married to the music* (lmao I really wanna see how you react to this cause the mv is weird af 😂) Jonghyun as a soloist is great too. He puts his heart into every songs and lyrics he wrote. Highly recommended to react to some of his works cause man is deep af. (wish world would've treat him better) Probably try the one with Taeyeon first called *"Breath"*
SHINee is my ultimate male group Everything about them is TOP class Vocals, dance, visuals, acting, humor... PS. Their live stages are x98980286229 better. Taeyeon and Jonghyun has 2 duets Lonely Breath [this song is from SM the ballad and also has a Chinese and a Japanese version. Chinese (Chen and Zhang Liyin) Japanese (Max and Krystal)] SNSD and SHINee are so close. You can see them in each other’s shows
i loved your reaction to the boys !! i cannot wait for you to watch them 'live' and getting to know all of them. also !! they are coming back on 2/22 ! SHINEE's back!
Idk if anyone's explained that Sherlock is actually a combo of two songs so that's probably why it sounded like a lot 😂 Also, do your ears a favor and listen to them live 100/100
I still can't understand how others manage to have a bias in this group like......Y'ALL I TRIED PICKING ONE BUT IT JUST CAN'T HAPPEN!!!! OT5 FOREVER!!!!
Aww, it was really a throwback-- It just helped me recall the way I started listening to kpop back in 2011 thanks to SHINee. And my very first song was Love Like Oxygen So glad you're enjoying this endless music trip and share with us~
SHINee, YES!!!! Watch the Shinee guide. The one in the middle is Minho, and yes he is freaking handsome. And the one you like is Key, his voice is very unique and recognizable.
Shinee has 5 great vocalists and dancers. More than a group they are a family of artists, each one has their own style for singing and dancing, with unique voices and that is why when they come together they have one of the best harmonies in all of kpop. The voice you liked is Key's and I particularly love its versatility. 5hinee's live performances are incredible and even more so those of their concerts, which is why they are known as CDNee, their live quality exceeds that of their CD recordings. 5hinee returns this February 22 with her 7th album "Don´t call me"💎💎💎💎💎
Sooo glad you revisited SHINee even if it was out of thirst lol. 5 vocal powerhouses who are even better dancers somehow lol. My all time fave male group for sure!!!
Shinee is much better live. Especially their concert stages. 💎
THATS SO TRUE
100% true
The live stage of them singing "Beautiful" in the rain is just the best
YESS, Their live performance is amazing than their MV!!!
💯 I spent 3 hrs this weekend re-watching one of their concerts. They are so good.
Funfact: Sherlock is SM's most expensive choreography lol
The live stages were iconic. My fave Shinee song by far.
One of my favorite song and MV. 🔥🔥
"who's that girl" i was like sir, that's taemin 😂
😂😅
For a second I thought the same but then I remembered about taemin hair 😂
I remembered he mentioned he couldn't go to toilet in that era, every time he went to toilet, all guys will look him with weird face
I died 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Remember ,cause of his hair, people thought Kai was having a secret encounter with a girl, but was Taemin all along.
I swear with SHINee you have 5 main vocalists, 5 dancers and 5 visuals
And five bais💙💙💙💙💙
it's not new if it's from SM :)
They are amazing.
and 5 soloists!
I think by watching guides you will see just how diverse and amazing SHINee is :)
They really are a one of a kind group and I hope you come to love them as much as us Shawols love and adore them. I would recommend
SHINee- Dream Girl: ruclips.net/video/vhxjEXDAy6s/видео.html
SHINee- Everybody: ruclips.net/video/hKbNV-4b_g8/видео.html
SHINee- 1of 1 : ruclips.net/video/WJua7KEP_oE/видео.html
Think these songs really show off all the members talents and represent the various colors of SHINee :)
Everybody was that era where every member was main vocalist
SM is a house of power vocals. TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, Shinee, Fx, Exo, Redvelvet and Nct 😍 also their seniors S.E.S and Boa.
don't forget to mention Aespa
Now aespa too
What about The Grace?? Why doesn’t anyone ever mention The Grace?
@@DeepKingBrine relax, it's ok
The Grace and aespa too
Not only does Key have a great voice, he is literally one of the funniest people in the industry. Also, we live for Taemin high notes and Taemin bridges.
KEY’s solo stuff deserves a react: Forever Yours, One of Those Nights, I Wanna Be MVs
Also COLD 😍😍
@@priesthazara7440 COLD too, yes! 🤩
Also his song "Hold on"
His whole solo album is amazing!
! Gosh yes!!
Fun Fact: View was created for Shinee's sister group F(x), while the song four walls was created for Shinee.
Didn't know that, they would be amazing for each other. View is genius deep house
I'm not sure about that, but the same producers did both songs.
Fun fact: Suho was supposed to debut in Shinee. Choi Minho and suho is super close
The owner of the voice that is your favorite is *Key* (Kibum)
And the handsome one is, Choi Minho
"Who is this guy?" = the Master Key
May God protect you when you see one of his solo acts. You’re gonna need an XL thirsty kit.
SHINee is close brothers of SNSD, Minho is like the unofficial members of GG even Taeyeon confirm it lmao, we love them, we love Shawol, SM family 🥰
Welcome to the SM Stan club, where we support every SM artist because they’re all so freakin iconic☺️
The thing about Shinee is they were marketed by SM as an experimental group.
You’re really becoming an SM stan. Love that for you, you’ve joined the dark side haha
The Dark Side indeed but we love it!
OMG SIR AUSTIN I CACKLED when you said “who’s that girl” at the start and then “When SM liked Jess... ok cut” LMAO 🤣
Thanks for reacting to SHINee! Our princes of kpop 🥰
They are amazing! I’m a hardcore EXO L but after EXO it’s SHINee without a doubt for me! They are amazing! Both as a group and individuals! The one you’re posting to who it is, it’s KEY (real name Kim Kibum) our savage diva! He’s so cool an amazing 😂❤️
They are amazing as soloist too! All of them have solo stuff already! Taemin and Jonghyun are the ones with most solo discography. I know you’ll enjoy a lot not only Taemin’s but Jonghyun’ da lot too!
Please react to “End of a Day”
That songs makes us cry every single time.
Modest then, absolutely false now
Key also has a song called Hold on
@@jonathanwarman3918 Same!
"I saw some pictures of [SHINee member] and now I'm in love?" yeah that's how it goes!
thanks for the reaction.
Juliette, Excuse Me Miss, Stranger, Evil, Spoiler, Dynamite, Quasimodo, Good evening,
1 of 1, Tell Me What to Do, Orgel, Graze, An Encore, Don't Let Me Go- they embraced a lot of styles in their work, be sure to take the time to listen to this, you will not be disappointed. Sorry for my english, best wishes to you from Russia.
Sorry for My English, great IN2IT song
And they rock every single genre 😍😍😍 #Kings
Excuse me miss live
Sherlock clue+note live
Ring ding dong + Lucifer remix live
Hope hope you check their live performances
Loveee youu❤
Up
Like A Fire LIVE
The fox has been 100% confirmed as a reference to Jonghyun
Yes, it is in reference to The Little Prince a favorite of Jonghyun. ✨
SHINee are legendary, period.
Also, you're lowkey an SM stan now
"THAT WAS THE TIME SM LIKED JES- CUT🎬" I CAN NOT🤣🤣🤣🤣
😭😭😭😭
I LEVITATED 🤣😭
SHINee is such a great KPop group! They're dubbed the princes of KPop with the amount of skills they have.
If you like pure vocals, I recommend you watch Jonghyun's performance of "Y Si Fuera Ella". It's one of Jonghyun's most powerful performances that can just move you with how emotional it gets.
Also check out their new B-side called "Marry You"! It's for their new album "Don't Call Me" that will release Feb. 22.
SHINee guides are great to know more about them. Hope to see more reactions of this wonderful group!
Agree 💯. Y si fuera ella is so amazing.
Born to Shine is Key at his most Almighty
minho appeared on the gee mv KSJNDKJNK
Onew and Jessica have a duet called One Year Later.
Sooo goooooodddd
You know he's gonna stan them before the video even started.
"SOY ON DORITO!"
-reminded me of Simon and Martina. 😭
SM likes to co-star their artists in the group’s music videos. And you’re right, that was when sm loves Jessica 🥺 she got a lot of singing parts in songs, starring in drama. But then the issue happened, they treated like she never existed which is so sad
May I ask what issue is that?
Shinee’s vocal to me is legendary. I’m not deep into them but I really Look up to their personalities and Talents. SM artists are really something extraordinary in this world.
I highly recommend checking out their live performances. These dudes are the live performance kings. FYI if you're a Minho fan you won't be able to handle Dynamite live stage
SM is just filled with legendarys
If You like SHINee new stuff then countless and good evening are great next.
Sherlock is one of Kpop’s most iconic songs, it was a comeback for when SHINee came back to Korea from London(they were the first kpop group to be invited to perform there). It’s a hype song pretty much and amazing live.
If you like Keys voice he has a very unique synthy solo career and a duo called Twoheart. As well as he has a main part in SHINee Stranger(live performance is ungodly good) and Odd eye(dont watch the inkiyago live perf if you think these guys are handsome because you will die)
Freakin love Twoheart "Delicious". And must watch Inkiyago perf of "Odd Eye" He's not wrong you will die, but you will die HAPPY!!!!
You really need to check out SHINee live. That's where they really shine!
You need to react to Marry You, It's just a perfect song.
I highly recommend their mv and live for "Good Evening" it was art itself!!!!!
Yes yes stop sleeping to SHINee🔥
Please react to their live stages:
Evil
Dynamite
Excuse me miss
Odd eye
Replay
My other fav song that i suggest you should check out:
Countless
Good evening
1 of 1
Tell me what to do
Married to the music
Jonghyun is now our "Diamond in the Sky."
One reason SHINee are in space is thought to be because being in space is closer to Heaven and closer to Jonghyun.
OMG the "Who Waits for Love" live stages are IMMACULATE
I'm crying I swear y'all I have commented about SHINee many times and I really was patient cuz ofcourse Sir Austin is busy ya know but HE FINALLY REACTED TO IT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR AUSTIN!!!!
tRY CHecking some SHINee moments like "SHINee being comedians without even trying" cuz THE CRACKHEAD ENERGY!!!
The guy in i want you mv is key (kim kibum) he's sooo talented, can do basically anything
Yes SHINee! The prince of kpop.
Fun fact: This MV was filmed in Thailand, so the actresses are all Thai.
Part 1: ruclips.net/video/Q4Qj-W3-KcI/видео.html and Part 2: ruclips.net/video/awMLgONRV1c/видео.html
To see SHINee's "View" choreography better you will have to check out a comeback stage or, better yet, one of their concert performances of "View." :D You really need to see a live version to appreciate it. Nothing is better than SHINee live. ;D
SHINee's whole concept as SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, means that EVERY song you hear from them will be completely different from anything you have ever heard, even on the same album. :D
The Kpop industry actually looks to SHINee to tell them what the next style and sound will be.
Shinee MVs are good but Shinee concert performances are incomparable.
My all time favorite Shinee song is Your Number...the performance video is why...
I usually don't like boys bands, but Shinee is completely different story for me. I loved them.
Please react to shinee's live stages!! They are legendaryyyy and their latest pre-released bside 'marry you'. And they all have their own solos!! They uploaded their performances in shinee's official channel. You can totally see their own style when performing their own solos
"Wait, who's that girl?" after Taemin shows up I can't XD
FINALLY YES, thanks you. PLEASE react to Shinee excuse me miss live too PLEASE.
Long hair taemin is iconic 😂😂😂
Honestly Minho is so god dang handsome. They are all so talented. Also the leader Onew has sang some opera in the past and it has such a cool story behind it.
SHINee were known for being the best performers/dancers during their time. Watching a few live performances (especially “Sherlock” or “everybody” will leave you speechless 😂😂😂
F(x) were molded to be their sister group and so their overall concept was to be experimental and fashion forward with their looks. Sherlock (clue + note) is actually two separate songs from their album that were rolled into one to be a comeback lol. I can see how it might be a little jarring at first.
Finally more shinee 🥳 I’ll just wait patiently for you to react to Married to the music and Dream girl, I’m almost sure you’ll like those songs.
you definitely need to check out their live performance for their latest b-side track under their upcoming album. It is called *Marry You* this song is heaven. TOP-TIER i must say...
I hope you could react to "Tell Me What To Do" by Shinee, it's such a great song! By the way, your reactions are great as usual, looking forward to other videos from you ❤️
I'm exciting for Shinee comeback
other people have already mentioned the one whose voice you liked was Key (has a solo album out with some cool features on the title tracks would recommend!!) he was also the one in View whose eyes you mentioned :) and of course Minho, the guy on Instagram (BRO the teasers they're putting out for their new album... immaculate) and the one you called handsome.
(Just like with SuperM's new song "One (Monster & Infinity)")
In the MV the boys are Sherlock-like detectives who are looking for clues in the spooky mansion.
They don't just remake Japanese versions of their Korean songs, but they produce songs exclusively for their Japanese albums as well.)
The choreography for "Sherlock" was created by Tony Testa a very well-known "Hollywood"-famous American choreographer who has also worked with some of the most famous artists, productions and dancers in the world, including Michael Jackson.
Oh Oh OH!!!! Live stages of "One Minute Back"!!
don't worry sir, it's safe here being an SM STAN 👁️👄👁️ they're serving not only visuals but also vocals. SHINEE'S COMEBACK ON 2/22!!!! 💙
11:00 and 11:57 I told you- KEY’s vocals are 😘
SHINee live performaces please!!
Minho is the visual and what a visual 🔥🔥
So glad you gave SHINee a chance again! They are very much experimental with their music, so each MV gives you such whiplash in terms of concepts and genres. When I saw the title of this vid I thought that that’s a very weird mix of songs hahaha but hey the beauty of SHINee is never knowing what to expect. Thank you for being honest in your reactions though! I would say Sherlock is much better when they perform it live, especially the concert remix where Jonghyun went extra hard in the bridge.
If you still wanna react to SHINee in the future I would recommend these MVs:
Dream Girl
1 of 1
Married to the Music
Thanks again for this reaction!
Omg SHINee!! Yes yes!!
Sherlock is actually a bop song when it came out everyone loves it but its okay maybe it will grow on you? 😂
Shinee is always be the princes of kpop
Yeeees! Shinee it’s an iconic group, amazing vocals and performance always on point. You’re gonna love Married to the music, symptoms(live of course) and everybody. Super recommend!
You have to reac to Jonghyun's crazy and Heya.... You will seriously love it
Jonghyun voice and passion were out of this world
View, 4 Walls and Lucky One are like siblings.
I believe this is not a main comeback, but more like a repackage or something)
2) *Good Evening* (This is the main comeback in 2018 after Jonghyun passed away. I really recommend you to watch the dance practice or live performance on music show. But I highly suggest DANCE PRACTICE 😭)
3) *1of1* (a retro concept which pretty sure your taste)
4) *Married to the music* (lmao I really wanna see how you react to this cause the mv is weird af 😂)
Jonghyun as a soloist is great too. He puts his heart into every songs and lyrics he wrote. Highly recommended to react to some of his works cause man is deep af. (wish world would've treat him better) Probably try the one with Taeyeon first called *"Breath"*
you should definitely see 'Marry You', one of b-sides for their upcoming album which they pre-release. Its more of vocal so I know you'll love it
SHINee is my ultimate male group
Everything about them is TOP class
Vocals, dance, visuals, acting, humor...
PS. Their live stages are x98980286229 better.
Taeyeon and Jonghyun has 2 duets
Lonely
Breath [this song is from SM the ballad and also has a Chinese and a Japanese version. Chinese (Chen and Zhang Liyin) Japanese (Max and Krystal)]
SNSD and SHINee are so close.
You can see them in each other’s shows
Sherlock is my favourite Shinee's song!
i loved your reaction to the boys !! i cannot wait for you to watch them 'live' and getting to know all of them. also !! they are coming back on 2/22 ! SHINEE's back!

So happy that youre continuing to react to SHINee!! Please do react to a guide
Shinee is back
My fav. Shinee title tracks are Why so serious and Everybody
It's such a vocal flex. Onew visual and Vocals just ughhh. stan Shinee!!
GO FOR B SIDES I SWEAR you won't regret. For less "shocking" things go for the recent album but there is some SERIOUS hidden gold
Idk if anyone's explained that Sherlock is actually a combo of two songs so that's probably why it sounded like a lot 😂
Also, do your ears a favor and listen to them live 100/100
YES my ult group!!! vocal kings!!!
I still can't understand how others manage to have a bias in this group like......Y'ALL I TRIED PICKING ONE BUT IT JUST CAN'T HAPPEN!!!! OT5 FOREVER!!!!
We are becoming sm stans😳😳❤️❤️
Aww, it was really a throwback-- It just helped me recall the way I started listening to kpop back in 2011 thanks to SHINee. And my very first song was Love Like Oxygen
So glad you're enjoying this endless music trip and share with us~
Yes u should watch a Shinee guide. They’re one of the funniest groups out there and I don’t even stan them. But they’re talented and fun.
5hinee returns this February 22 with her 7th album "Don´t call me"💎💎💎💎💎
Sherlock is my fave SHinee vocals song.
SHINee 💕
Sooo glad you revisited SHINee even if it was out of thirst lol. 5 vocal powerhouses who are even better dancers somehow lol. My all time fave male group for sure!!!
Shineeeeeee
Your favorite on "I want you" mv is Key. And is very close to your bias Yeri in Red velvet hahaha well, sm is family.
