Robert. You are my favorite Blues player. Touch, taste, delivery, and an endless supply of really cool licks. I feel that, had you been my teacher I would have learned how to learn to play in lieu of simply learning to play. I lacked that (knowledge-driven) foundation of those wonderful scales that allow for creativity and a deeper understanding of music. That knowledge is the chasm that separates good players from livingroom pickers.
The way you connect rides is truly a thing of beauty. And you are so clean. Anyway, I have loved your music for years now and want to say thank you. You are inspiring...and a really good guy. It comes through in your videos. Should I ever hit the Lottery, you are on my "GiveBack" list. I owe you for some lessons. A family vacation, maybe. Cross your fingers. And for all Musicians out there, remember, "Practice doesn't make perfect...perfect practice makes perfect!"
