Yup, that's always the catch, is that most of us don't have a high audience/traffic base. Affiliate links do us no good if there's nobody to click on them!

Consistently commenting that brand bitting will eat your commissions, you will lose money and your affiliate account will be suspended, below is the answer: That only happens when you bite on a brand that doesn't allow that but there are also a lot of brands that do allow that because they want the affiliates to take the risks on ads while also taking the reward if they succeed so look for those if you want to bid on brand. Also, they allow that because they may be new in the industry so they would love affiliates to focus on ads while they do other types of marketing and branding.
Most affiliate programs will not allow you to do brand bidding so beware if you try this strategy ALWAYS ASK IF YOU CAN BRAND BID! If they do not allow you to brand bid, just realize if you do they can REJECT your payments. Great earnings brother.

They track that affiliate ID back to you and will pull the offer from under you. So if you are promoting 1-800-flowers for example, and you decide to run ads on the keyword 1-800-flowers direct bidding will get your account pulled or bare minimum that offer. Most campaigns you promote will have that restriction.

I used to do this with teachable courses but some of the course creators got mad because you’re bidding on their keywords and stealing traffic from them basically. This strategy works you just have to find products that are okay with it

Let me give you a Google policy update: Google will one day ban the ad accounts for having multiple ad accounts. It is called "Circumventing Systems". I worked at Google, and saw this happen to multiple companies using affiliates. Multiple accounts are something that Google only allows for large advertisers. Example: L'Oreal CA, L'Oreal US, L'Oreal China, etc.
You can't do proficonf on Google ads. It's against their terms and conditions. Guessing they'll just let you run the ads so they get new customers and then not pay you...
Making money online should be fun if you find the right way. Find what works best for you and keep it simple. Complete simple tasks like watching videos, affiliate marketing, ads click, play games etc.
Hey Chad, thanks for sharing this info. There're two issues with this method: 1- The avg cpc is high on brand keywords. I've never seen anything less than $0.50 per click for bran keywords. 2- It's hard to find many products with this method. Is there any way other than capterra which makes the research process easier? Could you share your thoughts about above issues? Thanks!
That is a good one, but some companies can tell you "Google ads or any other ads that include our brand in any variation are not allowed without our formal approval", so it may have some difficulties
Proficonf clearly states on its affiliate page you can't pay for advertising on search engines or use its name to promote. Doesn't apply to Chad I suppose!

Great video & idea. I was wondering if we should target software with no competition, etc., AND that allows us to bid on the brand name itself. The first app I selected has an affiliate program but doesn't allow affiliates to use trademark, brand name, or link from an ad campaign directly to their branded URL, etc. EDIT: I think targeting apps with one-time license as the pricing strategy leads to faster cash-flow, and targeting apps with monthly/annual renewals is better for long-term, more stable revenue machines.

The $150 was over 9 days. The initial 2 days plus another 7 days because he let the ad run for another week
