    A lot of black people lie...or 'lye' lol about not using relaxers. I've seen comments on another black beard vids of people lying saying they simply use 'water' to tame their nappy beards, and it's just not true. Every black person has 'good hair' on the internet apparently. I know this myself since I tried a relaxer on my beard, only left it on 2 minutes, and while it looks similar to before(what I wanted, I didn't want an unnatural straight beard), it's actually manageable, I can actually comb/pick it, and I see it's actual length since my hairs aren't balled/kinked up anymore. My beard also actually felt softer after using the relaxer.
    Before this, I tried all the 'natural' tips, and I only ended up with a nappy beard that was dry...yet also greasy at the same time, no matter what oils or butters I used. I'd condition, then oil it, only for it to be dry 5 minutes later. And that also caused me physical pain when I tried grooming it. For me, the turning point was watching a vid of a black man, whose beard was so long and unruly, that his wife had to plait it up at night before bed! Getting the hair on your head braided is painful enough, so imagine the pain of doing this ON YOUR FACE!
    Nope...I'll just use the relaxer for a mere 2 minutes instead. Some black men also relax their beards, then shave it to minimize razor bumps, and that's another issue. A lot of black men try growing beards since regular shaving leads to painful razor bumps for a lot of us.

      Truth, my brother. You speak nothing but the truth. Everyone is trying to sell something. The real trick for the coarse nappy beards is relaxer.

    • @JayeKelz
      @JayeKelz 6 лет назад +4

      Sama Kudbuma never used a relaxer. Water, conditioner and balm is all I've used. If you are lazy and don't want to do the daily routine of maintaining a full beard then yes relax but me personally i think you're damaging your beard.

    Uuugh! don't comb texturizers before or after on Beards EVER!! wait until cream is removed,(the cream removes all kinks)apply using your fingers,using a mashing technique, to inject the cream through the beard.

      Use a mild relaxer or texturizer. Don't leave it on too long. 3 mins tops.
      And use neutralize shampoo to stop the chemical processing.
