- hey guys, I know men are big on beards now so I wanted to give a few beard tips for my guys. Although I am new to beard care, a lot of men of color have told me about this brand Scotch Porter. So I have been using it on my clients for a few months. After a beard care session with scotch porter your beard will feel clean and hydrated. These products are meant to soften and moisturize your beard. It also helps with frizz and the Beard Balm adds shine. I also used the beard straightener so I could clip the ends properly. Im hooking my model up at MDB Grooming location in Atlanta, GA. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Barbers rarely spend this much time on our beards and that's a big mistake. First barber I found that did this, I stuck with him.

Scotch Porter products are awesome, I give them to my Son's for Christmas every year!
Their beard conditioner was awesome before they reformulated it, and took out some of the more expensive ingredients such as marshmallow root extract. Now it doesn't make my beard feel good, and most people I've talked to say the same. Some people still like it though. But EVERYONE loved the old formula. I really wish they hadn't changed it. IMO there are better conditioners out there.
Scotch porter is no good anymore! They changed their ingredients and not for the better.

This is so informative, Mickey! I have a similar routine, but I can only blow dry it as I don't have a beard hot comb (is that what it's called?). I can't wait to move back to the States. I'm seriously gonna visit ATL just for you. My beard has grown for almost a year and I don't know how to manage it anymore--and in Switzerland where I live, they have NO idea how to deal with a black beard---not even the couple of black barbers seem to have a clue, and they have beards themselves! My beard is rather big. I'm super tempted to just cut it off and wait until I'm Stateside to grow it out again. I wash and condition this thing everyday because I also gym everyday. Keep doing this excellent work! I'm so proud to see a sista doing her thing like this. Blessings to you and the wife! #thestruggleisreal

@@willstaywinning that's awesome! It's the improper use of heat that damages hair. As long as you're using a lower temp & a thermal protectant you'll be fine. We'll be doing educational videos soon. Are you in Ga?
