My wife is a big fan of persimmons. They grow wild up here in Maryland, but they're very small, like the size of a half-dollar coin, and even that's being generous. But, the vineyard my son works at is actually a farm, and the owner and I often will share what have. Just like you, I don't expect anything in return, I'm just happy to see other people be appreciative of what I can offer.
I love the persimmons. We have the wild persimmons here but it's a fast race with the wildlife when they finally ripen. The Asian persimmons aren't as sweet probably but the non astringent part is really helpful and gives you a crazy long harvest window. I would like to eventually grow the American and different Asian ones. Apparently not all of the Asian one's are non astringent but the all seem way bigger. Yeah, those kind of relationships just seem healthy, I feel like we could use all of that we can get.
Thanks! This was a fortunate bunch of finds, the next hunt was zero and I was cool with it. I do hope that the videos have a chillaxed feel to them. I'm just using the stock music off of Power Director, that's the editing software I'm using, Some are copyrighted but approved for RUclips use but most are not. I'm not monetized right now so I'm not worried about that at the moment. But it is something to keep in mind. They have a ton of music, I wished they had more instrumental acoustic music on there.
Oh Man, those are the most beautiful persimmons that I’ve ever seem, so fresh and perfect! What a mushroom haul, plus a lucky extra Lion’s Mane at the end. Those bugs out there looked like birds 😳 I like your thoughts on sharing the excess 😊👍
Thanks! Their persimmons really are perfect in most ways and they do absolutely nothing but harvest them as far as I know. Not as big as the ones in whole food but I don't care. Persimmons will probably be the first tree I ever stick in the ground. Arkansas=Bugs for sure. It was a good mushroom day and I was grateful. Yeah I feel like most people have some extra something that probably be passed a long. If I ever get a farm like yours going I would like to try some bartering here and there for some things on the side. Seed catalogues are coming in now and making me miss my garden btw.
Thanks! I was super grateful for the whole haul and got a lot of use from them. I do wished I could have found those chickens in their prime though but that's how it goes with the mushrooms!
Good video with a message of quality values, cheers and peace and positivity to everyone.
Thanks Metal! I'm trying to keep it real, glad you liked it. Have a great weekend man!
