Finally getting back to creating - BillNicholsTV Update

- It has been way too long, but I am back. It’s been around 3 months since I last posted the update about building out my new studio and that has / is taking a lot longer than planned. Between family, work, and other creative commitments I just haven’t had the bandwidth to consistently create and it has been killing me!
Quick thank you to every single one of you that has either stayed with the channel or joined the channel since I last posted, I truly appreciate it and truly feel a need to create content that you are going to find valuable.
Through the last several months I have had several challenges, one being a really debilitating back injury that left me unable to stand properly for the better part of 2 months and with my right leg being almost completely numb for that period of time. Since then I have been in physical therapy for several times a week along with regular acupuncture, started working out and a regular stretching / mobility regimen. I ended up with some bulged discs in my L3-4, L4-5, L5-S1 along with some hypertrophy of ligaments, deterioration of my L5 and some other issues. I am mostly recovered but still get some random fits here and there.
Now without setting a lofty goal that I can’t live up to I am going to really try to start with at least 1 great piece of content a week and see if the studio being built out and having a regular space will enable me to be more efficient and build up more and more.

Bill, I'm trying to produce for fun nice quality drone videos for my non monetized youtube channel. I've been using pinnacle studio but, now after sampling Final Cut Pro (FCP) there is no comparison. FCP is far superior (Or I just can't figure out how to get good results from Pinnacle). It's hard to justify spending $300 for FCP as my free trial is coming to a close. Do you have a personal recommendation for video software? I'm not interested in Premiere Pro. The concept of having to pay a monthly fee for software is not for me along with the fact I don't do this for money. The big thing I like about FCP is the easy ability to adjust exposure darks, whites and middle tones with such ease. Any personal amateur affordable recommendations? PS, I enjoyed your segment on Ken Herons channel the other night.
