- I am at Interdrone 2017 in Las Vegas right now and this is a quick interview with Eden Attias, CEO of Parazero. Parazero is a company that makes autonomous parachute systems for commercial and enterprise drones. They describe their system as a complete virtual safety net for enterprise drones and all commercial drone applications.
There were a couple of things I really like about this system. First, it's only integration with the UAS is to be able to send a kill signal to the motors, other than that it is completely independent. Being independent from the drone doesn't create a reliability on a potentially malfunctioning drone to deply the system. To me thought one of the most impressive things about their systems are how low of an altitude they are effective from. With a system like a Matrice 200 they are effective from only about 20 feet of altitude.

New series, I vote for a new intro :)
Great technology when working in risky areas or with expensive investments, have you had an incident where you could have used one?!
I can see a lot of mining industry will be getting their hands on this
Thanks. Audio?
G C you're not hearing audio? Just checked phone, iPad - no issues here
Choppy at ~ 4:32, 4:436, 4:45, 4:59, 5:04
+G C yep it was choppy, that was using a wireless system inside in Vegas (why the polar pro one was straight into a zoom) - didn't know until later, couldn't reshoot
BillNicholsTV Don't worry with the picky squadron. The message was delivered.
