You know how I know it's not about works and behavior? Because there are people so emotionally damaged and try as they might, they can't be good all the time. Maybe they are defensive or scared or anxious. They might be short tempered, perfectionists, alcoholics..and on and on. God leveled the playing field for all who accept him.
It's funny how people oppose the idea of religion being anti-Gospel. I saw someone on your comments on Twitter just a couple days ago post the same Scripture you mentioned claiming you were preaching anti-Biblical sermons. Here's another bit of proof that I'm sure you went into in this series, who did Jesus speak out against more than anyone? The Pharisees ,the Sadducees, and the religious leaders. Just read the Gospels and there is countless anti-religion quotes you can gather from Jesus directly! Religion is washing the outside of the cup. A true relationship with Jesus is washing the inside. Great message, i really love your sermons!
