I just picked up a EK Hatch shell last week, it arrived at my house in 1000 pieces, I spent most the week sorting everything and putting it back together. It was a automatic but was given everything to convert it to stick, came with a B20 motor but no transmission.most the interior is there except carpet,headliner and missing driver door panel. It's a fun little project. Day 1 I literally went to my room shaking from the anxiety of all the work involved but once I started piecing it together I definitely see light at the end of the tunnel...
Love goin' to the yard for shitbox pieces! Got a replacement hood for $80 for my EH. And, they let me just have some clamps that I needed. Those were like $7 a piece and I yoinked 3. Only, it would suck bad if I had to search for the cars. At the yard I go to, they print out the cars you are interested in with the numbered row and, you just have to find the number and walk down the isle. It's the same setup as the yard your at, but they have a plastic cone-thing with a number and that's the row number. Makes it so easy.
I'd love to see you do a jswap build I've been watching you for like ten years now and I always thought it would b sweet to build a jswap awd rd1 or old-school hatch.
Hey just a little info about the ek prop valve is you don’t have to change the line going from eg ro ek. You can bend the lines to fit the ek valve in an eg n it fits great n lines look normal if you bend them right n take your time I did it with the engine in also
You by chance have any chipped ecu’s laying around for a 98 civic trying to source everything to do a build and I’m having trouble finding one. Any help would be much appreciated
It understandable I would do the same keep one or two of them and maintain a business of making content and at the same time you could get more ideas long a way.
