I think that the best part about full on orchestras playing amazing songs like these are that, despite there not being the actual lyrics, we can all hear the lyrics in our heads. That’s how memorable this song was to us as humans
If you're referring to symphonic music: well, I'd say that Classical is doing REALLY fine for being a genre that is roughly 3 centuries old. Plus, orchestras are now starting to adopt pieces from movies, popular music and video games, which in turn brings in new listeners. So all is fine. If you're referring to music like Queen: luckily, the recent Bohemian Rhapsody movie has skyrocketed Queen's popularity amongst younger people. Newer generations have been, once again, exposed to a band that was around before they were born. I'd say that all is fine as well. Again, we can't expect popularity on the level of modern Pop musicians, but then again, music like this has proven itself to last throughout the ages.

I'd honestly pay to hear this live, my goodness... I got shivers in me and everything.
Truly amazing.
Freddie Marcury wrote this piece as a symphony and after fiishing he was like "damn, forgotten i have only 3 guy in the orchestra. Well, what's the big deal, i'll do it with 3 guys" :)
😂😂😂
Your comment made my day👍
Marcury
Simultaneously:)))
i wanna do it with 3 guys too ;)
I didn't think Bohemian Rhapsody could sound any more beautiful than it already was; this version put tears in my eyes.
The solo viola gave me chills... so amazing and beautiful...
Viry Hope armyy
What's a viola
This songs does sound really nice in an orchestra!
Amazing. You know when you’re a legend? When people are still rocking out to your music almost 30 years after your death.
Bach then is one hell of legend
just happy to know Queen's music still bring joy to people long after my death. It's funny since the band's name was very nearly not called Queen
It's also when your pop music has been translated to orchestra and they do a super jam up job of it.
Check out Beethoven on electric guitar. Appassionata.
December 2022. Great, great , this song is a work of art and Frieddie Mercury was a genius. This amazing!
This version deserves a standing ovation!!!
I’m not crying!
You’re crying!

Y r u crying😆
Mama, I don't wanna cry..

Freddie was the best. He must be in heaven smiling at this perfect rendition
Cannot listen to this without tears streaming down my face. Thank you Queen. Thank you Freddie. Thank you Indiana University Studio Orchestra. Perfection.
4:37 The cello players just went ham, I love it. Much respect lol
When they finally picked a song you enjoy.
DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN
Cheers to the chimes dude at the end! Well done, chimes dude.
Long live the Viola!!! Splendid performance.
The viola is beautiful and all but can we just give it to THAT TRUMPET PLAYER 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Carly King He makes me proud to play trumpet 🎺
I think that the best part about full on orchestras playing amazing songs like these are that, despite there not being the actual lyrics, we can all hear the lyrics in our heads. That’s how memorable this song was to us as humans
This was absolutely beautiful! It saddens me that not as many people nowadays appreciate music like this.
Agreed!!
I think they do! Just not popular right now unfortunately
Then again. . WE ALL LOVE IT so. ..we DO
If you're referring to symphonic music: well, I'd say that Classical is doing REALLY fine for being a genre that is roughly 3 centuries old.
Awesome!!! What a pleasure I felt listening this version. I'll love it for ever.
My ears have been blessed
Bro
the trumpet player
*SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A MEDAL*
This rendition is excellent and does justice to the original.
As a trumpet player the solo touched my soul
