Live in now as much as you can, because there is nowhere else to be. But she could listen. Yes the questions were quite normal, nothing special. But she did it respectfully and was aware the many people who watch it might be very sceptical if she asked some hardcore questions right at the start, not knowing where hes coming from (her audiance, like us). And since sceptics are hardly in any kind of group, they are everywhere in small numbers. If shes smart, she dodged the bullet of the ultra sceptics / disbelievers turning her into some sort of crazy witchcraft girl who does stuff with shamans (happens often with religious people) which are often quite noisy by asking "boring" questions.

Karma is not just memory. Saying that it is just a memory that you can use or discard at will is not only misleading, it is corrupting the true essence of the Karma. Everything happens for a reason, memory dictates the sequence and consequence of course. However, memory cannot be erased so that certain sequence will not happen, therefore the consequence. @@TYforKY Its not only about the questions, its more about the listening. Most people just cannot listen, I dont know whats going on in their heads but they seem like they dont hear what he says. But she could listen. Yes the questions were quite normal, nothing special. But she did it respectfully and was aware the many people who watch it might be very sceptical if she asked some hardcore questions right at the start, not knowing where hes coming from (her audiance, like us). And since sceptics are hardly in any kind of group, they are everywhere in small numbers. If shes smart, she dodged the bullet of the ultra sceptics / disbelievers turning her into some sort of crazy witchcraft girl who does stuff with shamans (happens often with religious people) which are often quite noisy by asking "boring" questions.
Simply simplified and the lady was certainly taken aback with the convencing responses of Sadguru

Karma is not just memory. Saying that it is just a memory that you can use or discard at will is not only misleading, it is corrupting the true essence of the Karma. Everything happens for a reason, memory dictates the sequence and consequence of course. However, memory cannot be erased so that certain sequence will not happen, therefore the consequence. Every action will be followed by an opposite and equal reaction.

The word "memory" is a generic / unspecific English word which is generally considered to be the data you gathered in this lifetime. It is not
Sadhguru talks a lot about memory / manas in many of his long form discussions with Academics, prior to 2020, all available on RUclips. In these lectures, he explained many, many times that in the yogic context, the word for "memory" is "Manas", which is specific and comprises of the following subtypes.

I wish he could tell me what it does with my chemistry when you think about a desert. I dont know why, I never lived in a desert and only once saw a small part of it, but it always gave me peace and clarity when I felt like im not myself. I still dont understand why I started doing it but it worked. And after some time I didnt even need it anymore more than once a year or so.
Most valuable foe me is his statement that we do not know what happened next moment so he walk alert, so that's where one could noticed more. Though although my perception may not be as sharp but a good place to start. Tx

Karma is simply the manifestation of repetitive cycles of our mind body and soul, and everything unconcious is repetitive in nature, while everything concious is linear in nature. If you think you are trash for long enough, you become trash, or what ever association you had with a trash life. If you belief you are an architect, but others disagree with you because you have no license, you still are an architect, but one without a license. And if you believe in it strongly enough, you will also get a license because you will put in the work. Where is the Karma in all of this? The Karma is the manifestation of you becoming an architect. It was the action you took (mentally and physically) which brought you where you are now. Thats karma and memory in general, nothing else.
There is no Karma punishment other than the Karma you have inside yourself. If someone hits you, it has nothing to do with you not bringing out the trash today.
