He might have been from Nepal, but people have agreed, based on evidence, that he attained enlightenment in India. Also, buddhism emerged from hinduism. Vedic Hindu culture ( with platform of Sanskrit) is a only ( yes only) scientific culture of this world ( every phase of life is scientifically covered--infinite is embedded). If a person or a guru can’t focus on such a big treasure and walk with it and use other aids in shape of religions to go ahead and gather millions of blind followers--it is a 100 percent greed at the cost of his mother land and the scientific culture of Vedas.
Similar pattern people like Osho, Asa Ram, MURARI and mahatma Ghandhi did the same --and now the world would never forgive them for the misery given by them to millions.
