Hi Andrew, i wanted to let you know i made one using your concept. It worked out great. I built it into my table saw bench. I see you built 2 versions of it. I built mine based on your first version.
The difference is i used a long hex nut, which i cut in half. I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing. LouR Waxhaw, NC, USA
