@@PassportTwo I have not stepped into that place in like 20 years. Probably it was also because it is out of the way. But party goers may still go there as it opened till wee hours.
Lots of rain in. Singapore nice rainy day cool the place down very beautiful clean place love it there thank you for sharing your beautiful story very nice thank you
Great video vlogs, guys. Do you know there are also wild otters at Marina Bay Sands areas? And there are other families of otters in the other parts of Singapore too.
@@PassportTwo Here's a couple of videos for y'all folks to take a look. ruclips.net/video/J7f6s2g8C0I/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/u30yL8zZEAY/видео.html
fyi there are no dangerous komodragons in singapore! komodo dragons are only found in indonesia komodo iland wat you guys saw are harmless water monitor lizards
Do wear raincoat instead of umbrella for fear of lightning esp raining in forest.Monitor lizard, monkey n squirrels are quite common n can be seen in Macritchie Reservoir n Bukit Timah hill but certain time only not always.Maxwell Centre,Chinatown complex...are more localised n plenty of good affordable food as in many housing estate food court, kopitiam n hawker centres all around Singapore.Hope you see more animal next time if not visit the zoo😁
Great suggestions! I can't remember if we got to try either of those but we did find other ones that were much more reasonably priced and we thoroughly enjoyed them all!
Dino Weiming lol, we realized. A few minutes later in the video we came across a sign that told us that and we corrected ourselves! Thanks for the welcome! 😊
$21 for a plate of fried rice??? Damn... but I must say that Newton food court and their foods of variety are target among the tourist and with the recent renting price went up affecting across the whole Singapore, they eventually jacked up the prices too everywhere. I would recommend either go to Maxwell food court or Ang Mo Kio S11 food court which serve much cheaper price and open 24 hours. Newton food court obviously is a ripoff when you can tell the stall owner/helper need to stand outside and call you to try their foods seem like with that kind of price, business is indeed tough. Another thing I want to say was if you love to eat seafood then avoid East Coast Jumbo Seafood which Singapore are famous for the chilli crab, many tourist don't know about this and they got ripoff. You can find some places for cheaper and tasty chilli crab like Toa Payoh hawker or Geylang hawker (red light district). Basically if you want to eat something and don't feel like getting ripoff avoid any places near the main shopping district Orchard road, Dhoby Ghaut, City Hall etc...
Joe Kang great tips! We definitely knew it was going to be a rip-off going in but we wanted to do it just for the movie sake...we went to a lot of cheaper hawker centers for pretty much all our other meals to save a lot of money! Appreciate all the info you gave! 😊
Thanks so much for watching!! Has anybody read the book Crazy Rich Asians and compared it to the movie??
Newton Hawker Centre is generally catering to tourists and the prices can be quite high depending on the food you are getting.
Sean figures! We liked the others better anyways but had to go to this one because of its fame!

The first double-decker buses were introduced into service in Singapore in the 70s, so it's not a British colonial legacy.
Hg Lim ah! Thanks for the information! Very interesting!
Dont ever take food at Newton food court.. they just jacked up the prices for the tourist. $21 for a plate of fried rice. That's Crazy!

Anne Corey thanks so much for checking our video out! You’re right. It rained a ton while we were in Singapore but we loved it!

Newton used to be less touristy in the 70s and 80s but it is so inflated theae days (the prices)! Gotta try Old Airport or Tiong Bahru

I think that's a monitor lizard, the komodo dragon only found in Indonesia. Anyway, welcome to Singapore.

I am ashamed to say that I have not been to the tree top walk before.
Sean you oughta go! It was pretty spectacular! Maybe choose a less rainy day...haha
Glad you enjoyed my country!
Ambient Walking and we can’t wait to go back and visit again one day! 😊
@@PassportTwo Take care! Watch my videos if you miss Singapore! Lots of interesting walks!
There were no double-decker bus during colonial time in Singapore. No need for that, not that many people then.
Singapore nice view 🇸🇬❤
I think it is monitor lizard
Y'all are so cute, but Newton is the worst!!
There are no komodo dragons in Singapore. Its a water monitor lizard, harmless and shy in nature.
Indie Jones did you watch until 7:10 when we say the sign and we corrected ourselves?
The komodo dragon is the largest species of the monitor lizards.
