First, I would like to say your product is one of the best immersion software's for X-Plane 11. I have been using XPrealistic for over a year and love it. The recent update to a plug-in is awesome and for only 5 dollars to existing users, you can't beat it. I'm having only one issue. X-Plane for me will not close properly. I have to do a forced shutdown. I always get the message "X Plane is not responding correctly." I removed XPrealistic and X-Plane closes normally like it should. Do you have any ideas what to do about this?
The vibrations say A LOT to your sub conscience about the airplane you're flying. You get a sense of how light or heavy it is, how solidly it's built, the power and stability of the engines...movement of air over speed brakes. I got XPR yesterday and am still tuning, but it's impressive and changes the nature of things. There's simply more depth to the airplanes now.
This plugin really adds so much immersion. I’m used to the head shake plugin but this is so much better because the plane shakes rather than the view. Also nice to see Barton airfield

It helps me because as a 72 yr old simmer I just bring my iPad to my Xplane desktop play your videos and as they say a picture paints a 1000 words so your videos paint a 1,000,000 thank you again. Nice plugin, bought it, unfortunately it conflicts with XPUIPC, it makes X-plane 11 hang on exit, I had to remove it because I need XPUIPC. Hopefully they will fix that bug in the next version if there is one and I won't have to pay full price for the revision. Great reviews as always Q8, Thank you.
A nice demonstration of what appears to be a great enhancement for X-Plane. I think the effects provided will really make X-Plane as close to the real thing as is possible. By the way, it's great to see you back on RUclips. I'm sure that you were missed by many flight simmers while you were in temporary retirement!
After watching your video on XPRealistic Pro V2 I just upgraded mine to V2 from the X-Plane.org store However, the upgrade is not free but, will cost any existing V1 user only $4.99 by using the discount coupon given at their original purchase online invoice.
Hi Q8, great video and I have to totally agree, the immersion levels in the V2 version are far superior to V1, as indeed is the user interface. I downloaded this plugin today (paid just $4.99 for an upgrade) and was blown away (literally lol) by the wind affects on the aircraft, the head turn/shake etc., just need to test it out more to find out what else it does. Thanks again and thanks to the developers for a masterful piece of software. XP11 will never be the same again lol!! Regards from the UK

Hi, nice video as usual ! What version of X Plane do you use ? If you're using Vulkan, have you winds aloft ? No wind on your 737 ND, but maybe it's a standard/neutral weather. I can't use the V1 of XpRealistic because of this problem... :-(

I upgraded to V2 yesterday, but I noticed two disturbances: One, xplane11 gets stuck for long on exit till you have to call task manager. My System i7-7700 3.6/16 GB RAM. Second, for every aircraft, let it be default or ZIBO, the aircraft moves in a weightless way on landing short Finals. It drifts away like a paper and rolls out of control on either side. Its consistant with all aircrafts. I reverted back to V1 and things are Ok 😕 .. Thoughts?

Climbing out of Leadville in a baron when I hit about 12,000 feet the clear air turbulence put me into hey very unusual attitude. Was quite frightening till I realized I could turn it off ha ha

What happens when payware addons already have some of the effects? Do I have to disable them in XPRealistic each time I change the aircraft? Because I want to prevent "double" effects
Great video and awesome plugin! One thing I really can't understand is the price difference between the V1 (15$) and V2 (35$). Never had any problems with V1 and don't see a reason to pay 5$ just for a new GUI. Thanks for all your content though! ;-)
The plugin has be re-written as a stand alone plugin, that's a lot of work if you ask me. If you are happy with the previous version, you can still keep it.

@@atomicpaper1 Thank you for your comment - very true, no response whatsoever. I gave up posting comments or liking videos here for the same reason. It seems to be a one-way channel only. Regarding your question, I DIDN'T like XP Realistic - it's been a while since I used it but I remember uninstalling it after 2 weeks. Maybe it works for other people but for me, I found it was too much tweaking to do and didn't have the time to fiddle with it to find my ideal setting. What I used was the Reality Expansion Pack For X-Plane 11, SoundMaxx, Active Sky XP, and a few others - and that's it. I kept it simple. It served my purpose better. I now use more MSFS2020.

@@atomicpaper1 No, none of them do all what XP Realistic do. The Reality expansion pack is an add-on for the Cessna 172 that makes the aircraft more realistic in flight. SoundMaxx is decent at environmental sounds and Active Sky is for weather simulation. That's enough for me. If you don't mind fiddling with lots of settings, maybe XPRealistic is for you. To me, the "realistic" part was more of an "overcharge". You can also try going to the X-Plane forums and read the comments there. They have very good discussions on almost any topic related to X-Plane.
I have bought this very nice addon too, but I get too much shaking at a low altitude at landing. Before touchdown. For a too long period of time. I tried to switch off everything one by one, but still couldn't get rid of this excessive shaking, so I couldn't figure out what causes that. Can somebody give me a hint? Thank you in advance! :)
You can adjust the intensity of all effects or turn them off. You can also create one profile and link it to all your aircraft. Then you can simply modify the profile of each aircraft keeping the default settings you have created.

Great video as usual I used to owe the old one I will upgrade a quick question how do you get such beautiful scenery I buy from Orbx but never had such great sceneries any advise . I have all UK from Orbx as well as California, Florida , but never such clear and immerse looking . I hope you can give me some advise
Which resolution do you play on? Also have a look on the recommended settings in Xplane by OrbX as you need to be on pretty high graphic settings to get the best results out of it. And if that is not enough, have a look on XVision to get the last bit of quality out of Xplane. Hope that helps :-)

Yes the 172 has REP and the Moded FMOD sounds.

I notice that the switch sounds and park brakes soylund are different frol the vanilla 172 of xplane. Where do the sounds come from?
In a turn are you paning the view into the turn or is the plugin? Is there a way to do that automatically?

Would YOU recommend this Addon for X-Plane 11? I really want it, but I don't want to get burned! Any thoughts you might share on this?
Laminar needs to start either buying these plugins or licencing them if they can't compete with features.

The sounds will be overriden by XPRealistic.
Is the scenery part of XPRealistic as well?
What happens when payware addons already have some of the effects? Do I have to disable them in XPRealistic each time I change the aircraft? Because I want to prevent "double" effects
Yes you can disable in XPREALISTIC
I get v2 but its does'nt work with 11.50, vulkan.... my question is if I did something wrong or I miss something... thanks you!
Great video and awesome plugin! One thing I really can't understand is the price difference between the V1 (15$) and V2 (35$). Never had any problems with V1 and don't see a reason to pay 5$ just for a new GUI. Thanks for all your content though! ;-)
The plugin has be re-written as a stand alone plugin, that's a lot of work if you ask me. If you are happy with the previous version, you can still keep it.
Steam x plane 11 has been updated to version 1.50 and gives crash. I want to return to 1.40 version. Can you tell me?

What do you use for head tracking? or dont you use it because the view was so smooth
I noticed too, that xplane 11 crashes instead of smooth exit. I am not sure if its Xprealistic. I dont have much Addons on my XPlane11.
It is XPrealistic and it is a known issue. Will be fixed in next update

I find it both sad and interesting that after 2 years you have not gotten a single reply to your question! @@atomicpaper1 Thank you for your comment - very true, no response whatsoever. I gave up posting comments or liking videos here for the same reason. It seems to be a one-way channel only. Regarding your question, I DIDN'T like XP Realistic - it's been a while since I used it but I remember uninstalling it after 2 weeks. Maybe it works for other people but for me, I found it was too much tweaking to do and didn't have the time to fiddle with it to find my ideal setting. What I used was the Reality Expansion Pack For X-Plane 11, SoundMaxx, Active Sky XP, and a few others - and that's it. I kept it simple. It served my purpose better. I now use more MSFS2020.

@@atomicpaper1 No, none of them do all what XP Realistic do. The Reality expansion pack is an add-on for the Cessna 172 that makes the aircraft more realistic in flight. SoundMaxx is decent at environmental sounds and Active Sky is for weather simulation. That's enough for me. If you don't mind fiddling with lots of settings, maybe XPRealistic is for you. To me, the "realistic" part was more of an "overcharge". You can also try going to the X-Plane forums and read the comments there. They have very good discussions on almost any topic related to X-Plane.
I have bought this very nice addon too, but I get too much shaking at a low altitude at landing. Before touchdown. For a too long period of time. I tried to switch off everything one by one, but still couldn't get rid of this excessive shaking, so I couldn't figure out what causes that. Can somebody give me a hint? Thank you in advance! :)
You can adjust the intensity of all effects or turn them off. You can also create one profile and link it to all your aircraft. Then you can simply modify the profile of each aircraft keeping the default settings you have created.

Great video as usual I used to owe the old one I will upgrade a quick question how do you get such beautiful scenery I buy from Orbx but never had such great sceneries any advise . I have all UK from Orbx as well as California, Florida , but never such clear and immerse looking . I hope you can give me some advise
Which resolution do you play on? Also have a look on the recommended settings in Xplane by OrbX as you need to be on pretty high graphic settings to get the best results out of it. And if that is not enough, have a look on XVision to get the last bit of quality out of Xplane. Hope that helps :-)
