I am glad I read this because just recently they banned a few modders for small things
Shouldn't the ban happen if you play online? I never play online, so how would they know? Are they spying on me by any chance? If that were the case I would call the police! A company shouldn't allow itself to stalk my PC! ù_ù
Also if you use default characters online, which don't have the theme songs changed, how would they know? o.O
@ShadowSoul92 my guess is that they ban if someone rats you out or you post a video of it and they find out who ye are.

My friend how do I convert to a wem file I believe it is, it keeps telling me error needs a wem file when uploading the music

From the eyes of someone who doesn't fully understand modding in general: There HAS to be a way to make it so the game will recognize brand new .pak files. We can already create them with the Sound Editor. If we can find out how to rename songs, or how WWE 2K24 registers/identifies the existing .pak files, then we may be able to add new songs without replacing old ones. Hopefully someone who better understands modding will be able to figure this out.
have a question,why doesn't my sound editor exe file setup don't open? no black screen,nothing,it doesn't open,idk why. Anybody can help me?
Can I use this to play my own music on the menu? Or does this only work with wrestler themes?
For some reason when I open sound editor for 2k24 music packs it still remembers the 2k23 replacements I made. I can still edit music but it gets a little confusing with the names from 2k23 mixed in.
Select the 2k24 database in settings (after the next update) and restart SE. And it does not remember or show you the changed files for 2K23.
Whenever I try the install, I get an error saying '"Setup Error! Could not read setup package!"

I added Trick Williams "Whoop that trick with the Chants" and it some how mutes the "Whoop that trick"...lol.
How strange... maybe it didn't work and it's the original theme still?
@@Rexling No it's the custom theme, maybe it's the "In Game" crowd noise fx that drowning out the chant in the theme,, because I added a different version of the theme with the chant but with Booker T adlibs and I can hear Booker T, just not the chant.
Odd, try finding the chant SFX on its own and adding it over the song in Audacity!
do you have to replace on of the songs or can you add a new one all together
You have to replace an existing song with this particular mod!
I tried to convert my music to wem but every time I tried it says conversion to wen failed. Is there a source where I can download music so I can convert it?

For me everything works but I have one problem, its a delay when the music starts to play, like a 3 second of silence and IDK why xD

can anyone possibly send me their music.pck files? Mine literally corrupted from the previous update, and for some reason won't fix. No music will play.
any idea of how to revert songs? I cant even see what songs ive changed now since i updated to 2k24 database. I tried the deleted button in hopes of it deleting the overwrite(on a different generic song just in case) and the song is just completely gone now, so that sucks. Trying to figure out how to get that one back. Any ideas on getting the generic song back too?
Not too sure on the first one - you might have to manually re-import them? :/
As for getting the generic songs back, import them back manually, or reinstall the game :)
@@Rexling I figured it out just now. I verified the integrity of the files on steam and it replaced them. Im just going to copy all the music pack files and put them in a folder for when i need to just replace the files to default. Thanks for the help and thanks so much for the initial tutorial!

Hey do I need to mod the game or is the sound editor completely separate from an actual game mod ? If that makes sense
It's technically a mod but a very easy one to install - the tutorial covers everything you need to do!

I don't know if the soundtrack songs are in there - I would change themes of wrestlers you don't use and apply them in the jukebox to have them played in the menu

The only way I'd know how is to uninstall and reinstall the game

I’m unable to convert any audio to wem. Keep getting an error about half way through converting. Any idea as to why this may be happening and how to resolve? I’ve tried converting from both mp3 and wav but still same
Same its so frustrating
Was able to covert files to WEM through using Wwise software in the end then import to sound editor. Although after my first attempt with a song worked a charm… I’ve had no luck successfully importing any other songs since. They inject in to game but do not seem to want to play :/ but it’s definitely worth a try as you may get better luck. It worked for me once so 🤷♂️

How come it’s not working for me my sound files come up as nothing it takes me to a store then I accidentally opened it with internet explorer
You can't do anything with double-clicking a WEM file, it's sole purpose is to be used in the Sound Editor program! :)

Sadly not
If you play online will they the song you added?
Technically they should
it's probably client sided meaning you only hear it yourself and people online will hear the original one you replaced but it's still a nice thing to have in your offline matches and Universe or MyGM mode

Make sure you're converting from WAV to WEM, that seems to work the best for me

Not too sure honestly, but if you're worried about the risk of being banned, then I would advise against using the mod, or any mod for that matter!

Any idea which slots are the menu songs? I changed all the "soundtrack" songs but nothing happens.
Not sure I'm afraid! If you change the themes of some wrestlers you don't use with the songs you want to play at the menu, then you can select those replaced themes in the jukebox!
