- First time fishing on my good freind Kong's boat. Went to San Louis Reservoir for some morning striper fishing. Fishing was tough so we made a run down to the lower lake(O'niell Forbay) for some bass fishing. Ended up having lots of action with back to back cast and even a double up.

What launch ramp is this , good fishing
Alot of people don't know how big the caliber of those fish can get at the small lake. Since they're not mainly fished for and targeted, they can get up to the double digits there. I've seen plenty of 8s during my days fishing there. Great footage and great to see you two back at it. Waiting on Kongo to invite me next 😂
I’ve seen a lot of locals catch 8lb+ largemouth at check 12 in the past on live bait. They’re proabably really plentiful. So much forage and vegetation in that lake

SLR have plenty big fish in the morning and evening! Oniel never fail, some good fish live in that small lake.
SLR has more of those monster but once it hits like 10am every fish just seems to disappear until like 6pm they show back up. The forbay is consistent all day but smaller fish though lol

I didn’t even check but I’m assuming it’s in the high 60 to low 70, the forbay is usually colder due to the water always being released
