Stedman Triples at Chewton Mendip, Som - Mark II

What Bells!!
This vintage eight, cast in 1913 by Taylors, are something special. The video shows the very fine tenor being turned over by Si Lipscombe, followed by an excerpt from a thoroughly enjoyable and very musical quarter peal of Stedman Triples, (although with 114 calls and after a false start I was also cacking myself throughout!!) concluding with Cambridge S Minor rung on the back 6 while waiting for Margaret Chapman to ascend the tower before the qp!! Door open and camera set up right by the door, plus slower ringing meant the camera did a helluva lot more justice to this most heavenly of Taylor eights than last time, albeit the set up also amplified any striking errors!! Enjoy!! :-D
