Very nice bells, must come and ring here some time! Also I must get round to calling that composition! Lots of handstroke homes then Tittums at 4:27 comes out beautifully! :D
Defo worth a ring on, but ring round the 4/5 if you do, that's where they sound best IMHO! The ringing really got going from the off but came into the music section fantastically!! Terminal to call - can fire out in the blinking of an eyelid as well we know! - but certainly worth ringing it!!
I would say they are slightly better bells, just in a very poor tower - Chewton has a longer draught and better internal acoustics, making them richer inside. These outside, on the other hand, are just magnificent, and the camera has done them rich justice in bringing them out on video!
another great ring, love the sound of those bells, and again excellent striking.
Thank you!
Hi Simon, fab ringing and so much music. Any chance of sending us the composition or putting us in the right direction? cheers
Hi Andy - thanks for your kind comment :-) Composition details here: bb.ringingworld.co.uk/comp.php?id=2254832
Cracking striking, well done.
Glad you enjoyed! :-)
Are you the guy who was shouting "BOB!" all the time?
Great, and then off to the pub!
I’m surprised John Pladdy’s wasn’t ringing with you guys.

I've always wanted to ring here
Well I prefer Chewton Mendip because of the tower and style because there lound inside and out Ditcheat are just quiet inside outside is fine
Beautiful, I am a pure Stedman fanatic it's the most beautiful and musical method that brings out the best a belfry has
I never grow tired of Stedman. It is just a fabulous method, a gift that keeps on giving, beautiful stuff!
Bloody gorgeous. Definitely better than chewton Mendip. Tenor here has a deep sonorous roar.
