Compare it to poco x,f series, Xiaomi 13t, realme...there are A LOT of competition. Screen itself is worse than all current poco screens. (They don't have large chins, lol)
Maybe wait if the "virtual" proximity sensor will cause issues. Some reviewers already have a hard time using the FP reader. Then we have A54 owners saying their exynos device had a hard time locking in gps connection as well.
Until these are resolved...

2:36 finally a good ACTUAL side by side comparison of these 2 phones, the size increase alone is a sell for me as someone with larger hands, I really miss the a70x series

I'm planning on changing my A52 soon who has done a good job so far. I'll probably go with A55 instead of A54. It's newer, photos look more realistic compared to A54 where they seem a bit oversaturated, plus you get more updates on A55 but I'm waiting for a discount.
Go on backmarket and get an s21 ultra for cheaper than this dude.

I have the s23fe. It works really well and has 3 times optical zoom which the a54 and a55 doesn't have.

Ha, wish I saw your good review 2 weeks ago! Just bought an A55. Not complaining about it, but would have looked more seriously at the A54! It's also smaller, a + for me!
Well, I have the A54 and I hate it. It overheats easily, it's laggy, battery life is inconsistent and 2 rma'd devices and still have touch screen sensitivity issues and random double presses.
Photos and Videos "they look identical" !? Except that they don't, not at all. Warmer colours on all A54 photos & videos, just look on a bigger screen it will be easy to see differences. But anyway a decent interesting comparison and review, I liked it a lot, so great work👍

A55 doesn't have dex, wireless charging, optical zoom which is important to some. It's a good phone but I don't think any flagship owners are in any pain.

Samsung never disappoints on display quality 💯.Only the processor -the aggressive immortal exynos chipset and battery charging speed which is so slow compared to other midrange phones.

Thx but if you want to spend less, don't go for A54 but for A35. It's practically the same phone but the newer model and with some great intro deals like Buds FE for free in Samsung shop.

Please non of those picture qualities look identica at all.The A54 obviously has a better camera for now. Maybe the A55 camera will improve with future updates.

I have a a54 8g 256, i'm not a heavy game player i just play a lot of tennis clash which i think is not a heavy game (3 hrs or more ) but it heats up my phone, so is it worth to upgrade to a55 and pay 170 dollars ? (because of heating issues or the a55 will also heat up ?)

I don't think you need to upgrade. The A55 will heat up as well. You could get a cooling fan to attach at the rear of your smartphone to cool it down.

Samsung a55 in portrait mode after taking pictures you cannot edit blurred back ground, unlike a52s 5g. Also no ultra mode in mobile legends despite it has gpu xclipse 530
What do you mean by identical selfies? The A55's selfies are much brighter, and the A54 renders her face like it's covered in oil. Her face is somehow both darker and shinier on the A54. I would have loved to know which one was the correct skin color. But anyways, thank you for the comparison!

Sorry to contradict you, but the A54 can add an eSim, maybe that setting is not showing in your region

You didn't talk about the current market price.
Depends on where you live. My country launched the A54 at a little higher price than A55. And if you trade in an old device and/or sell the freebies, the A55 price could be lowered.
