I got this lipstick in shade 1 and I actually love it. The packaging is beautiful and luxe, the shade is gorgeous, and the formula is incredibly nice. I think it’s worth the splurge and the trade off of buying 4 to 10 other lipsticks.

Hi Dacob! I disagree with the person saying the 2.55 doesn't match your skin colour. When you moved back, the true colour appeared and looks amazing on you and amazing in general. This is the colour i picked out first along with a 5 - Rouge Premier refill ☺

Enjoyed the video even though I'm not likely to buy this collector's piece. You always share so much detail in such entertaining manner, perfect to start my morning with. 2.55 lipstick shade looks awesome on you. A little hack to avoid bleeding is taking a single ply out of 3 ply tissue paper, sticking it to the lips, and powdering with any face powder right on top of the tissue. It'll give a matte finish. And then just couple gentle swipes avoiding the contour. You're good to go👍😋

The 255 looks good on you actually. Classy and provocative at the same time. I bought the set for what it stands for “Chanel” in history. I bought it in 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, France in Sept also. I have not used it because they are just too beautiful in the lacquer box.

wow, 2.55 colours looks incredible on you. I wasn't initially interested but I think I might just be motivated to buy just the 2.55 colour. Glass case and all. I thought it might be darker, but it appears richer on the lips.

Btw, 2.55 was on my mind and thought it would be close to Rouge Noir (one of my favs), but it's quite light in the end and not that dark.....

I think the 255 lipstick color would work fine if it were the only color and the rest of the makeup was minimal. It is a gorgeous color and it is intended to create drama. Blast that quiet luxury minimalism out of the water 😂

That 2.55 color was absolutely gorgeous on you ❤. That "matching skin-tone comment" was pretty asinine. Makeup does have a theory but, if you know the rules, then you can break them strategically. A little bit of eyeliner and mascara would be enough to balance the value contrast on your face. But, even without that, it's such a lovely statement!

I have my investment goal to reach, and then enjoy spoiling myself , for holidays, but after watching your video, i want it. How you put history of Chanel, to the lipstick design, its so interesting. And you gave us some hacks lol . , i will pray, that Chanel would not come after you 😳😜😝 . I was going for lightest one, but now i want that famous 2.55 even if i wear it as a stain, because its so cool tone, but again, i agree it depends how you do your makeup. Yes it is better than allure and better than coco rouge formulas. Might not be much better than the extrait formula but I have not tested extrait enough to be able to assess it properly.
