So what happens when you get stopped randomly at customs sometime with these watches? They are actually to be declared as jewelry and I highly doubt you’re declaring
I bought a black dial version. It was one of the the greatest moments of my life as I saved 10 years to buy that watch. I flew from Amsterdam to London and took a coffee after 3 hours went back. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.
Looks like Jebal Ali not quite the desert lol. I’m a resident in both Dubai and UK so if you guys need a hand delivering in the future then let me know. The hotel you stayed in is nice, I remember when it was being built a few years ago.
Grey dealer with limited stock of his own mostly consignment pieces wearing a designer rucksack and flying all over the world doing deals. Sooo reminiscent of TPG.
Thanks Jay appreciate the feedback 💚 This episode was originally 25 minutes long so we decided to make it into two episodes, Part 2 is out next sunday 🫡
Those willing to waist their money in watches should do this: - find out the original price of the Patek you want to buy - go to the online US inflation calculator and find out how much those $$$ would have to be today to match inflation Very few watches make it and no watch produces income. I simply find it incredible that someone will spend 100, 200 K and more on a watch "hoping" it will increase in value to at least beat inflation, when an investment in real estate will beat inflation by 2X as much and produce monthly income. Oh well, can't teach donkeys to read! 😂😂😂
“Can’t teach donkeys “ I’m Sure the guys who can afford to spend 200k on a watch don’t really look at it as an investment and most likely don’t need your advice.
