    • @hexepick8328
      @hexepick8328 4 месяца назад

I think, the declination adds to a name, so towns might be known as both Moskva (B Moskve) in Russia.. But in Germany or most other nations the name of a city won't be called differently just because you say "i come from.."/ "Ich komme aus.." or "i live in.." "Ich lebe in..." That is why Russian citys like Moskva are called Moskau "in Germany in any case".. no matter how russians call that town themselves. Sometimes changing the ending will make it more difficult to recognize, so it definitly makes sence, that for places famously known of as MOSKBA, one dispenses with a declination, if in exchange it makes the name easier to recognize. Even russians will have an easier time, if they don't have declinations for all names and places worldwide and outside of russia.

I LOVE the way you write ТеХас in Russian, with the sound "Х" «J» in Spanish, and not "тексас", cause X in old Spanish was "X" but sounded like "J" ( Xosé/ Xuan, Xaen-> José/Juan/Jaén) then this letter evolved into "J" but the sound remained, but due to English influence, those region Mexico( Méjico), Texas(Tejas) chanded their pronounce to Mexico using X sound from English phoneme system

Most of the words with у-ending are short words and there is no distinctive stress in the nominative form. Because of this 'stresslessness´ the stress jumps to the у-ending. For example:
In the forest (лес). - В лесу.
On the floor (пол). - На полу.
On the ice (лёд). - На льду.
In the garden (сад). - В саду.
In the port (порт). - В порту.
In the airport (аэропорт). - В аэропорту.
In the nose (нос). - В носу.
In the cupboard (шкаф). - В шкафу.
In the snow (снег). - В снегу.
In the brain (мозг). - В мозгу.
In Hell (ад). - В аду.
On the shore (берега). - На берегу.
In the eye (глаз). - В глазу.
In the fat (шир). - В ширу.
On the bridge (мост). - В мосту.
In sweat (пот). - В поту. *meaning soaked in sweat e.g. after a workout (Я в поту!)
In the year (год). - В году.
In the fog (дым). - В дыму.
In peace (мир). - В миру.
    In a row (ряд). - В ряду.
    In a feast (пир). - В пиру.
In the corner (угол). - В углу.
In the bread (хлеб). - В хлебу.
And here are couple of examples of во instead of в (easier to pronounce):
In the ice. - Во льду.
In the mouth (рот). - Во рту.
And here are examples with ю-ending:
In paradise (рай). - В раю.
In the battle (бой). - В бою.
On the edge (край). - В краю.
In the district (край). - В краю.
