@@builtonboxes4374 Hi ( Joe Here from New Jersey) When you say 75% profit...and 2k per week income...is that after paying a driver and all of your costs ( fuel, insurance etc?)
Firstly, let me just say that this video should have more views. You walked me through every question I had and with such a down to earth attitude (felt like I was getting advice from a friend) THANK YOU!
I've been living in this small town for 14 years. The first thing I noticed is there is no ice cream truck. The ice cream man was one of the highlights of my childhood and id love to bring that joy to this town, but I have no clue where to start. Thank you so much, this video was a tremendous help.
Awesome video! Very insightful! Can you do a video on A-day in the life of a ice cream truck! That would be awesome! Show actual selling of the ice cream. Awesome vid!
I agree with most except for the van, use any van you can afford, just do inviting colors, i have a g-van ice cream truck and my kids and teens love it. ty for the video
Excellent video - very insightful! I’m 21 & live in a popular, tourist cottage country up in Canada and have been questioning/pondering recently around the idea of bringing an ice cream truck to fruition for next summer potentially… thanks again for the awesome video
Are you serious ??? Wow ! I’m a single mother with two kids that can’t afford daycare or baby sitters I’m highly considering the ice cream truck business

I have been wanting to do this for years out here in north jersey a friend of mine also did this and keeps telling me to do it. Exactly what he told me you have also just verified it to be very accurate from everything you need to get started and the amount of money per month. This video helped me make my decision as of today im goin to do all the paperwork necessary!! Great video and thank you!!
I appreciate your honesty about the business i am super keen to start a ice cream business live in Australia on Thr central coast just looking at ways due to financial challenges at the moment
I did notice the white deep freezers in the back. Here, in Ohio, that's against the law. Our health department requires commercial grade stainless steel freezers. Also, my years of experience with Ice Cream Trucks, this in no way is a 4 hour shift, unless it rains the rest of the day. This is 12 hours of selling alone everyday the sun shines, except for when school's in.
My grandkids and I are working on building an ice cream truck trailer that I will pull with my car. I have everything figured out so far except, aside from the grocery store, where can I find a distributor for individually packaged ice cream bars? Great video, by the way. Thank you.
Great video man. Appreciate the honesty and the info. Looking to start one myself to pay off college and med school, maybe make enough to get into realestate for the same reasons. Keep up the great work and the great videos!
I looked this up because my husband had mentioned it’d be nice to have one around my area. 🤣 he was half joking but I am a serial entrepreneur 🤪 (at least in theory) so here I am looking to see if this would be realistic for us haha. At this phase in life, probably not, but I love the idea and would love for our community to have something like this!
This is a really cool job to me. I’m 24 and I’m really introverted. I’ve been having the worst luck getting a job and mostly it’s because I dread working for people. Always on their time and it’s never enough alone time. I also have kids and a wife so I NEED MY ALONE TIME! I don’t want to be the old grumpy sweater vest dad and husband that doesn’t have the energy to interact with family when they finally get off work from miserable inc. I’m rambling but I think this will be quite therapeutic for me. I’m going to watch this video again but I feel like I’ll have trouble with actually getting what I need to start this. And it’s almost spring already 🤔 but thank you Mr Volunteer for this guidance.
1st of all I would like to thank you for all the insightful information that you brought to us in this video. I just really appreciate all of the tips that you gave out because now I have a better understanding of what to expect and that's exactly what I was looking for I like the honesty that was refreshing and I appreciate you. Please keep doing what you're doing brother.

Since the Trucking Industry is completely dead I'm actually considering driving an ice cream truck, in my city they have Craigslist ads stating you can make up to $300 a day.... However it looks like a difficult gig to get started with
hey guys i have a question, im starting up an ice cream truck business but im wonering, how do yall keep the freezer running 24/7 to avoid ruining the ice cream? cause if it were just connected to the car battery it would drain it, and a generator cant run 24/7, so how do yall do it???
When I get my truck this coming soon within the next four months, how much would you charge for me to come down to Knoxville Tennessee I’m in Clarkesville but how much would you charge to put in a side window?
could i ask is there any permits we need to set up at public parks and pools? what about driving through neighborhoods do you need a permit to sell where you want?
Wow!! Great video ! We are currently in the process of building a ice cream truck for our 9 and 4byear old daughters who are young entrepreneurs! We then plan on expanding into the trucking industry as we just obtained our dispatching liscense yesterday 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 What your doing us exactly what we have been working towards. Would love to chat more with you if possible about how you built your business to $10k monthly. Hope to hear back from you soon. Thanks!
hey there, box trucks are a no go for me. If you're trying to build a fleet, they can be great, but if you're a single truck owner/operator, you're selling yourself short.

Nice advice ! NO BACKING UP (when possible). Low liability is 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Seasonal demand, not seasonal vehicle leases. Instead of starting with a creepy white van, until you can afford something better... use a bike cart.
I want to start a small business to be my own boss. And , ice cream truck seems very good entry point?? SHARE more and more information please coz I don't know where are the trucks allowed to be parked? What rent someone may want to charge for standing out on their property? And etc etc etc...
I’ve been a kindergarten teacher for 25 years, and have recently been thinking of building an ice cream truck. ( I live in Japan ). Thank you for the information, one thing I won’t be needing is a credit card machine. Everything is just cash here. There isn’t a single ice cream truck in my city, I suppose that’s a good thing for me!. I had an ice cream shop back in Australia, making gelato and sorbet. I might add that to the truck menu as well.
the gahh damn costs up front are not cheap kids. The van, licensing, wrap or graphics.. LLC, insurance, freezers, generator(s) cables, Square POS or such, maintenance and more. Yes you can make some good money but you need $50K upfront.. and if your area doesnt have year round summer like weather, its seasonal and that's maybe $10-$25 K a year. Not much money overall unless its a side hustle.
I think it depends on what kind of competition you have, how much the commercial rent is, and whether or not there is a heavy regulation and red tape. All based on location. Makes more sense for us to be mobile here

Yes, you need the permission of your local government. Some allow it freely, some want a fee and sometimes an inspection, and others ban it outright.
