Man Inaki Godoy deserves a Emmy for his Oscar worthy performance as Monkey D. Luffy especially having Oda and luffy's Japanese voice actor themselves being impressed by him because this is how you do a Anime adaptation perfectly having the creators themselves to support it unlike Cowboy bebop and Last Airbender which ruined Noah ringer's career before it started and let's not forget Dragon Ball Evolution. I'm still hyped for season 2 but I'm wondering how they're gonna do chopper even the other characters if they go that Far and I really hope so.

still dont know why Kuro, aka Mr.Thousand-Plans, whole crew were a bunch of people in cosplay, he literally had 2 decent members, Jango and the buff cat (who was still a cosplaying weirdo, but he could pack a punch and gave some trouble to a handicapped Zoro, which was op by east blue standards), like bro, you're the smartest man in east blue but can't find a decent crew? 😭 Jango was also cut from the live action, wonder if it was because of time or if they just thought he was going to be difficult to bring to life, but him accidentally powering Luffy up was one of my favorite gags in this mini-arc. They cut Full-Body too, so I guess the Fullbody-Jango duo wont be happening, just the Koby-Helmeppo
@@befuddledrai I’m watching the anime now and honestly it’s no where near as good as the live action but yeah the differences make the live action perfect I haven’t read the manga I don’t get how it’d be any different from the anime though lol wait really cool
@angrylittlebogan4353 with the manga, you get to decide the pace at which the story moves forward. With the anime, the timing is decided for you. This especially makes some arcs in the story so much worse because the anime producers have made the decision to stretch out most sequences and fights so they don't have to do another filler arc (there are still a lot of them) while waiting for the manga to put out more chapters. The anime is also slightly different from the manga in the beginning as it was geared towards younger children so some of the flashbacks and scenes were adjusted. The live-action took direct inspiration from the manga, so it kept the spirit of one piece strong, which is why I think they did such a good job. That being said, if you just prefer aniamted medium over comics then feel free to keep watching the anime. It picks up after you get used to the pacing and the auditory experience is nice. I'm just a major one piece manga fan so I tend to get passionate about the manga over the anime. (Also my bad about the long reply 😅)
Not gonna lie i was dying at the black cat crew costumes 😂😭

That's what make it even better 😂

Yeah, it was sending me, at the same time tho I tried not to eat or drink anything during those scenes. Didn't wanna choke 😂
It's cute 😭😭🙏
Yeah the live action took the lamest/cringiest members of the Black Cats from the Animanga for some reason.
@@CalTrap7810yeah that’s the only part that I cringed at but the rest was 👍
Poor polite and sweet japanese Mackenyu dealing with Mexican natural voice volume XDDD
If there was one character I thought could never work in live action, it was Luffy. But damn, he made it work!

@aver_3 Chopper will probably look like something from Detective Pikachu. Hopefully not like original movie Sonic.

Oh you missed the best one... Luffy trying, and failing, to say Zoro's sword's name! xD
The waddle itchy monkey ? 😂
'the show is already funny, and your edit makes it even funnier xD

I love how Zoro is just 'Really?' at Usopp instead of trying to at least rush to help as they are VERY much under attack XDDD

2:59 it's impressive how Luffy barely remembers names but remembered whole dialogue with Zoro

Just read the manga. Anime pacing is shit
Yes! I keep telling people, just read the manga. Although maybe with the new remake, the anime might actually get that fixed.
