- Hey guys,
I'm back with my first (okay, second) PSA submission. I sent 3 cards in a few years back, before I started this channel, but decided to send a few cards in recently, and they just came back.

Beautiful cards and selections to send in. That Burrow looks really slick. I think sending in cards that you pull from packs might be the most gratifying to see get back in a slab. That and cards that come from friends and loved ones. Congrats!
That is very well said! Having cards that I pulled from packs, and now seeing them back in the collection in the slabs is a pretty satisfying feeling. Same with cards like Montana, from a friend... And I'm still waiting on a Gale Sayers card my parents got me when I was a kid. It won't grade high, but I'm really looking forward to have it back for the collection. Thanks for watching!

I was thrilled with how things played out! Thank you SO much for helping me complete my '81 set, final 80's card needed, and now to see it get an 8 (I was hoping for a 6 🤣)... So this was great! Have a great weekend!

The first Walter card looks great! Surprised it got a 5! That Burrow is awesome! Awesome grade on the Montana! I have a Montana rookie too that I have gone back and forth on, on whether I should submit it!

Love the Montana. I have one slabbed myself, a PSA8. And hearing you also have the entire 80s decade collection. The 1981 is my birth year set. My final sets were the 1984 and 1985 USFL sets. Was a huge deal to me finishing those.
That's awesome you have the Montana in an 8 too! Those USFL sets are great, right?! I've had the 85 set for many years, but only finished the 84 set last year and was so happy to finally get it. Thanks so much for watching!

That Montana was a whammy! I sent mine in on my last reveal video, and I only got a 6. I was happy cause I thought the card was trimmed.
It’s funny, our stories are pretty much the same. We don’t sell any of our cards either. We’re pure collectors. I did do comps in my reveal video, cause I wanted to give an idea of worth.
I literally found my Brady rookies the same way, except mine were sitting in 5000 count boxes with the other commons.
I am endeavoring to have one grading submission per year because of the price. Beckett has 10 of our cards now. I’m hoping to have them by the end of June

Thank YOU for suggesting I send the Mahomes in to get slabbed! I'm so glad I did now 😊. And yeah, just knowing the Montana is legit and not messed around with is a good thing... And a 6 is still good. I was hoping for a 6 on mine, so go figure 🤣😂
I do think the comps on cards can be fun. I had no idea the comps on my cards, but have since looked then up. What's nice is if, some day when I'm long gone, my family wants to sell these cards, they'll have an easier time knowing exactly what it is and what they're worth.
That's awesome you were able to pull some Brady RCs. Who would've ever know back then what those cards would be worth now?

Yeah, it is definitely lacking in Chicago Bears cards! I did send in a vintage Gale sayers, but it hasn't come back yet. I slammed it just because I love it, though it's not going to get a high grade lol. Thanks for watching buddy

I sure thought so! Still love the card, but was pretty surprised when it came back a 5. The Montana was a nice surprise, however, and getting it as the last card I needed from the 80's and from a friend makes it extra special for me. Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks so much! Yeah I vividly remember pulling that card. My first 1 of 1... I bought two or three packs at my LCS, opened them in the car... And my hands started shaking lol. Had another nice surprise when it came back gem mint. Thanks for watching!
I'm 57, grew up outside of Chicago and had an awesome collection in the late 70's that I sold for $50 in HS. I use to go to Woolworth's with my grandmother and they used to sell these clear packs that were actually 3 packs that hung from a hook, so you could see a total of nine players. I can still picture flipping through them and seeing that Payton card. A couple years later my best friend's mom took him and I to see a Bear's benefit basketball game at a local HS. Payton was only 5'8'' I believe but he could slam it no problem. It was like he had springs in his legs. Afterward they set up an autograph table and Walter was at the end. When I slid the 4th thing to him to autograph, he looked me right in the eye and said "this is the last one". I only have 1 of the autographs. I have a mint copy of his 1st SI that goes for big bucks since they started grading them. Also an autographed Butkus SI that's one of my favorite collectibles!

Hi Brian, you did very well for a first reveal. The Burrow is a beautiful card. I am happy for you the Montana got an 8. What an awesome card. Maybe the key card of 1980s football.

I was going for a 6 😁 and cards like the Burrow, Brady, Mahomes, Luck, and Love were nice to pull from packs and now have them back in the collection slabbed up. It was pretty satisfying, really. Thanks Steve! I was really happy with the grades on this. It was fun to send a few of my own cards in for once 😊 I was SO thrilled when I pulled that Brady. My first 1/1. Seeing the Burrow in a 10 was nice. I have a nice Herbert and Tua ... And Hurts from that year too... Maybe in a year I'll send those in too 🤷 . I still have 3 cards out that haven't come back yet, so hopefully I'll have those back soon too.

I'm still waiting on 3 cards (one was vintage, 2 are autographed, and we're in separate orders) but it was fun to get them slabbed. That being said... Congrats on the great returns. That Luck Finest Red is beautiful! I remember 2000 football very well trying to pull Urlacher rookies and once in awhile I got a Tom Brady rookie and then asked myself who is this guy?

Just got my card and autograph graded cards back from PSA. Took about 4.5 months, so sit back and relax. Will be awhile. Turnaround time on cards has been running 6 weeks or less, but getting anything done with the autos be it graded or authenticated, it takes A LONG time.

That Payton looks better than a 5, should of used SGC

I prefer SGC over PSA, cheaper and better slabs , in my personal opinion.

did you submit standard through collectors club? or standard as a non member? hesitant to submit my first set cause it doesnt make sense to me to pay $125 for their membership on top of another $200+ for the actual submission
I submitted mine standard through a local card shop in my area. They charge $5 for handling, but otherwise it's whatever PSA charges, and my LCS gave me the bill when I picked up the cards. That way I didn't have to pay for a membership. But it sure wasn't cheap lol... I still have 3 cards of my 10 card order that haven't come back yet, so hopefully I get those back soon too. I got a 30% gem rate out of the 10 i sent the first time
How often do you grade? Have your gem rates changed over time? I have 3 cards that haven't come back yet... One is an older vintage card that will be nowhere near a 10, but I'm curious on the other two. Thanks so much for watching!

I actually had about twenty cards too send to PSA and when I realized how much that might cost, I took away a few Bears cards because I found some obvious "flaws" on them. Thigh I do have an old Gale Sayers card they still have, so it'll be nice to at least have his card to add to my graded collection. It's not going to get a high grade, but it's one of my favorite cards 😊 and yeah, I was thrilled with the Montana. Thanks for watching!

Ohhhhh, and not a bad 9 on who some call the GOAT, but when you cheat your way to 3 out of 7 rings, that along with other factor, doesn't make you a GOAT to me.
Plus, 1 more already & Mahomes equals them before 30 (The 4 won hopefully fairly by the Pats) never know since they were caught cheating in 3 already. 🤷♀️

I'll be curious to see both our picks. I kinda know the direction we'll go and kniw who your 1st pick will be, but...will you guys use your picks or make a surprise package trade for a HUGE vet like the Eagles did with AJ Brown?
Didn't even know AJ was up for trade that year. Guess anything is possible.

At this point almost every year is QB crazy, but I think WR & OL will be big this year too.
Was set on us taking a. OL 1st round, but after Rice-dumba$$-who knows.
