Erin Jackson stormed to victory in the women's 500m speedskating, claiming the gold medal in a time of 37.04 seconds. Takagi Miho of Japan took silver while Angelina Golikova of ROC won the bronze medal. Jackson becomes the first US speedskater since 1994 to win gold in this event.
