The Japanese did everything frontside. Scotty employed some backside tricks.
Especially since Scotty did switch which is one of the hardest things to do, and he is the only person doing switch 12’s which is incredibly technical

Hirano has a front side 1620. It is also said that the referee suppressed the triple cork score for when he performed this super trick.
