This is directly based on the chapter "Boy with a Gulitar" from Izazuman manga by Ishinomori sensei himself! I recommend everyone who watch this read it for a total different, but superb plot from TV series! Hmm... for those who read it, I can explain for the nudity in it-
Even though it didn't have a definitive ending, this shows that Jiro WILL return to Mitsuko and Masaru one day, when he's ready; IMO, I don't think they have to wait too long
13:18 Seeing Jiro and Hattori reunited gave me hope. No doubt he was working for Mitsuki to find Jiro and bring him home. I really wanted them to be reunited, yet here we are 18 years later and no continuation...😔
I personally want to believe that Jiro eventually reunites with Mitsuko sometime after the ending. Even if he's different from everyone else, he still feels lonely, and even if androids who think for themselves can't truly co-exist with humans, at the very least, Mitsuko, Massaru, Hanpei, and Etsuko, he got along with, like a family. So yeah.
I wish they would have continued an Inazuman series. AniPlex set the bar on how to "remaster" an old series with Cyborg 009 and Kikaider. Stay true to the soul of the source material and don't go throwing the creator's image into the trash. Would have loved to see an animated K as well!
In the original story of "Kikaider," Jiro ends up killing his father and his father's companions after obtaining a conscience circuit. The setting takes place after some time has passed since that final episode.
Just read inazuman vol 1, shame there’s not more that was done with the character besides the cheap inaccurate live action versions. Anyways what are the faces Inazuman has?
This is not a bad little special, and I do like seeing more Kikaider content, though I definitely feel that A: placing this after the OVAs is automatically a big mistake, considering the incredible ending to those, and B: making the conclusion of anime Kikaider a tie-in special with a forgotten character like Inazuman is an equally big mistake.
@@darkgalax34 The ending of the OVAs is honestly one of the greatest conclusions to any work of fiction I have ever seen, that pulls no punches, ties the themes of the franchise together in satisfying fashion, and provides the most logical answer to the Pinocchio story I have ever seen. Picking the story back up after that, especially for the sake of a comparatively average little special that is mostly just a vehicle for a character not many people particularly care about, was not the smartest move, even if at the end it gives Jiro some hope.
Triplehate not adding inazuman just because people don’t care would be against Ishinomori’s way of being, he would care, no different to how his heroes would care in ways many may not.

Oh boy so its one of those “left ambiguous” endings huh? Hm. I really don’t like ambiguous endings because it just comes off as the creators going “ok whatever ending you come up with in your head, that’s what happened”, so of course you’re gonna come out of it more positive. Like you’d seriously have to be sick enough to think that Jiro stayed away from Mitsuko and everyone else and stayed depressed and killed himself.
I don't think it's THAT ambiguous. Like Saburo said, he'll come back when he restores his gentle self. Even in the manga when they crossed over, it's implied Jiro's still learning to become a good person, having been helped by Inazuman regarding his obedience chip. You'd have to not even watched this show nor actually engaged with this story to presume that'd be the implied ever-after ending.
the first one would work out very well, but the second would require a bit of effort to realize the idea to its fullest potential, with the second one having the higher payout cyborg 009, devilman, kikaider, and inazuman would be an interesting sci-fi/mythical story, and their themes can match up very well lupin iii and detective conan are more realistic, and are more thief/detective, but combining the seemingly-supernatural masquerade reality that is ishinomori's works - kikaider and inazuman - it would certainly make an interesting story if it were a lupin/conan-centered story, or a villain-of-the-week action-in-the-shadows kikaider/inazuman-centered story, and a great talent would be required to use either only or both simultaneously to really draw the potential out

原作漫画だとイナズマンがジローの『悪心回路(イエッサー)』を焼き切って元のジローに戻す描写だったが、アニメでは違う展開だったのが興味深かった。😊

現代マンガ、アニメは子供向けから進化して日本のカルチャーとして君臨してる。
昭和の時代は誤解を畏れず評すれば、『正義、道徳、優しさ』そして『助け合い』を子供達に語りかけてたのかと思う。

キカイダー、当時のコミックをまだ大事にしています。差別用語もあって、今ではもう元の形で読むこともできませんが、後の少年サンデーのイナズマンでのジローの物語の完結に、胸が熱くなったのをよく覚えています。今回のOVAでは服従回路を焼き切る行りが無くなってたのですね。

キカイダーは良心回路との苦悩と葛藤。そのエッセンスを描いたい作品だと思います。

さんが主役を演じていましたね。
原作のイナズマン1エピソード。
原作キカイダーの最後、服従回路を付けられ01、00、ビジンダーらを殺したジローの後日談。
因みにイナズマンもキカイダーも、同じ少年サンデーに掲載されていた。
キカイダー→（1972年30号～1974年13号）
イナズマン→（1973年34号～1974年17号）
ある意味、原作キカイダーの悲しいラストに、人間に不信感を抱いたジローを石ノ森先生が救いたいと思って書いたのかもしれませんね。
でも原作とは終わり方が少し違うね。このOVAではジローが自分で良心と悪の心の戦いを克服してるけど、漫画版はイナズマンに服従回路を焼き払われるだけだったので。
声がドモンとサイサイシーだけど
キャラ的に宇宙世紀の精神的な成長した
トビア（カーティス?）とトマーシュ
な感じだったな
そしてクロボンゴースト後戦後処理で
奔走中のカーティスがウッソやトマーシュと出会ってオデロやシュラク隊
リーンホースクルーから多くの犠牲者が出て失意の最中、カーティス自身娘のベルがフォントと消息不明となってると言うのに
それをおしてウッソたちを叱咤激励する妄想が完成。
絵柄を石森タッチにしてくれてるのが嬉しい。
このエピソードは漫画版を先に見てたから、アニメ化された時は「おおっ」と思った。
原作を上手く噛み砕いてバランス良く肉付けした良いOVA作品だと思う。
アニメ本編の救済も兼ねてるのも秀逸。

『キカイダー』は原作よりも単体での完成度が高かったけれど、『01』は其れ程でも無かった印象で、本作を見損ねたままでしたが、原作同様に良い出来ですね。

昔、夏休み時期、テレビで平日、ムーミン、手塚治虫作品を放送してたし、24時間テレビでも、手塚治虫さんの特別アニメが放送されてましたね。

良心回路が完全に敗北して悪に染まったジローとか、サブローがハカイダーではなくサナギマンとか、予想外の展開がてんこ盛りで印象強かった。
原作（漫画版）準拠なので特撮ドラマとは違います。
風田サブロウ サナギマン、イナズマン
ジロー キカイダー 原作終盤でハカイダーに服従回路（イエッサー）を取り付けられる。良心回路のせいで躊躇っていた武器ブラスターを使用し仲間もろともハカイダーを破壊。その後のジローがこのOVAです。
少年サンデーに連載されたイナズマンの中でもその後のジローの姿が語られますね。
再構築した形です。新しい設定ではないですね。サブロウも漫画版の方の主人公の名前ですよ。
良心回路は敗北してないですよ！
あれはジローが敵を欺く為にボディを真っ赤にするという嘘を付いた感じです！

This is not a bad little special, and I do like seeing more Kikaider content, though I definitely feel that A: placing this after the OVAs is automatically a big mistake, considering the incredible ending to those, and B: making the conclusion of anime Kikaider a tie-in special with a forgotten character like Inazuman is an equally big mistake.
How come such a big mistake ?!
@@darkgalax34 The ending of the OVAs is honestly one of the greatest conclusions to any work of fiction I have ever seen, that pulls no punches, ties the themes of the franchise together in satisfying fashion, and provides the most logical answer to the Pinocchio story I have ever seen. Picking the story back up after that, especially for the sake of a comparatively average little special that is mostly just a vehicle for a character not many people particularly care about, was not the smartest move, even if at the end it gives Jiro some hope.
Triplehate not adding inazuman just because people don’t care would be against Ishinomori’s way of being, he would care, no different to how his heroes would care in ways many may not.
This is an adaptation of the inazuman manga chapter, not an original story
@@triplehate6759 too upsetting for most people, nobody wants to see their beloved and long suffering character in tears at the very least scene. It's nice that he had a way out of eternal torment as it would have been.

原作も好きだったけどアニメはジローの変身後も見せてくれるのが嬉しい。
もっと欲を言えば「共闘する2人」が見たい！
例えばギルの双子の兄がデスパーのガイゼル総統で、機械化された超能力軍団の攻勢に三郎が大ピンチになる。そこへジローが現れる。手には自らの機械で作ったゼーバーを持って...とか。
1時間くらいで見られたら良いなあ。

しかし普通の服を着ながら顔の機械むき出しというのが、昔正月の神社の鳥居の横とかに座って寄付するかしないかで我々を試そうとしてた「傷痍軍人」ぽさを感じる。

Oh boy so its one of those “left ambiguous” endings huh? Hm.
I really don’t like ambiguous endings because it just comes off as the creators going “ok whatever ending you come up with in your head, that’s what happened”, so of course you’re gonna come out of it more positive. Like you’d seriously have to be sick enough to think that Jiro stayed away from Mitsuko and everyone else and stayed depressed and killed himself.
I don't think it's THAT ambiguous. Like Saburo said, he'll come back when he restores his gentle self.
Even in the manga when they crossed over, it's implied Jiro's still learning to become a good person, having been helped by Inazuman regarding his obedience chip.
You'd have to not even watched this show nor actually engaged with this story to presume that'd be the implied ever-after ending.

the first one would work out very well, but the second would require a bit of effort to realize the idea to its fullest potential, with the second one having the higher payout
cyborg 009, devilman, kikaider, and inazuman would be an interesting sci-fi/mythical story, and their themes can match up very well
lupin iii and detective conan are more realistic, and are more thief/detective, but combining the seemingly-supernatural masquerade reality that is ishinomori's works - kikaider and inazuman - it would certainly make an interesting story if it were a lupin/conan-centered story, or a villain-of-the-week action-in-the-shadows kikaider/inazuman-centered story, and a great talent would be required to use either only or both simultaneously to really draw the potential out

石ノ森章太郎の絵が動くと、石ノ森のヒーローは今でもスタイリッシュよな。
例えるなら同じロボットでも武骨なガンダムとは違うエヴァみたいな感じ。
だからこそ手塚治虫は石ノ森章太郎の才能に嫉妬したんよね。
手塚先生はその辺りの感覚が物凄く鋭いんですよ。😂

@@ninja8tyu Yeah, that 4-episode OVA. I feel the OVA, the boy who carried a guitar, is the conclusion of the entire Kikaider story. Kikaider finally breaks away from the control and no longer needs the guitar👍

服従回路によってジローは人と同じ善悪両方の心を持つようになった。
元に戻るのはジローが望まないだろうからあの形になったんだと思う。

なんか島本にしか見えないｗｗ
原作者はイナズマンとキカイダーの融合を望んだのだろうか。わかりやすいキャラクター対決アニメになっているけれど、キカイダーの原作萬画を若い時に読んだときの読後感はもっとさまざまなテーマを考えさせる複雑なものだったように思う。
キカイダーとイナズマンの訴えたいテーマはきっと違っていて、コラボすると
今は亡き作者の意図とは違う方向で独り歩きしてしまうのではないでしょうか。
いや、このお話の原作もちゃんとありますよ😅

そう、日本人はもう、DSにも工作員にも操られない。
うぅん。同一人物のバトル？
ジローのその後はバッテリーの液漏れにより各部のパーツが腐食してしまったんだよね。交換パーツも生産終了していた為、敢えなくジャンクとしてヤフオクに出品されたらしい。知らんけど。
セリフといい画風といい古すぎる。晩年の松本零士の拡大路線も悲惨な駄作を数々生み出しただけだった。もう時代遅れの世界観を引っ張り続けて大作家の遺功にドロを塗るのはやめておこうよ。
まあ…21年前の作品で原作に沿ったキャラデザですし。
根強い人気ですよね？
どんな画風も時代とともに古くなるとして、漫画家の絵の個性を動画に残したら駄作になるとも思えませんが…😢
考え方（世界観？）の古さはまた別の問題だけど…そもそも古さ，時代遅れって何なんだろう？
