    Goddess is one of my favorite cards of all time. An extra deck Kaiju just feels so good to summon.

    • @alex_zetsu
      @alex_zetsu Год назад +1

      People emphasize Underworld Goddess of the Closed World for her removal, which is fair since they usually prefer to go into link-4s and beating over a monster by battle instead of using those 4 monsters and one of their opponents' to make Goddess, unless said monster would actually hurt your combo, in which case she becomes a great removal tool. Her protection is quite strong and synergizes with backrow since backrow is often descent at playing around targeted effects. Getting 4 effect monsters to make a link-4 as Plan A with Goddess as a plan B if an opponent's monster would prevent the combos is how things are right now. If they ever made a fiend archetype that uses backrow a lot (so not Dark Worlds for example since their deck is mainly monsters), then I can see her being used outright as a boss monster. If such an archetype exists, Goddess might be a plan A. You'd remove an opponent's monster, shut down effects of any existing ones, have protection whose weakness is covered by backrow, and almost lock your opponent's graveyard. Not too many decks would take cards from the graveyard and put them into the hand and then special summon from the hand, which would bypass her graveyard summon lock.

    Five headed link Dragon is *extremely* easy to make in Generaids, for two monsters. Since the field spell makes up to 5 tokens on your opponents turn you can use I:P Masquraina to summon Five-Headed link dragon on your opponents turn. And given generaids use a lot of monsters with different types, you may even get to use the board wipe effect. It's by no means a really good interaction, but it is somewhere that Link dragon is VERY easy to bring out.
    The same with Goddess of the closed world actually, because Generaids very easily get quite a few monsters summoned on your opponents turn, even if you cannot use the tokens. Makes it a quickplay Kaiju too!

    I actually do use Five-Headed Link Dragon in my Super Quant deck. It mostly serves as a backup plan in case Magnus somehow gets beaten, since Magnus gives me three monsters when sent to the graveyard. Since it's not that hard to get two more monsters out in a Super Quant deck, and one of the more common ways to break a tower like Magnus is to use a Kaiju, I have a prety good chance of getting FLD out (even managed to keep it around until the end of my opponent's 5th turn).
    Of course, in terms of Link monsters that are probably more beneficial to get out, it would be Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops over Five-Headed Link Dragon.

      Then why are Borrelend, Underworld Goddess, Shooting Quasar and The Arrival on the list then as they don't require 5 materials for their summon? • @cameraredeye3115
      @cameraredeye3115 Год назад

      @@CaptainB1994 Borrelend and Underworld Goddess are each Link-5 so by definition, they require 5 monsters to summon (even if you Link climb). The Arrival shares the same concept, but you need 6 monsters since it's Link-6.
      All Link climbing does is make you use more monsters, since each Link Monster you use adds another material to the requirement. By that measure, Avramax would technically qualify for this list despite being Link-4 (unless you use the Numeron engine), because its materials are 2+ monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and each of those monsters requires materials to bring out.
      Same goes for A-to-Z Dragon Buster Cannon; it takes 8 materials to bring out since you MUST use ABC-Dragon Buster AND XYZ-Dragon Cannon specifically, with no substitutes, and both of those monsters are semi-Nomi so you need materials for each of those.
      EDIT: Forgot about the Numeron engine.
