Crash helmet being the obvious priority 🤷🏼♂️…..but I can never advocate a good pair of boots being 2nd choice! When I first started laning as a young cash strapped kid I was riding in trainers (yeah I know, chavtastic 🤗) The weekend out after I’d scraped up enough to earn my first pair of full on Sidi mx boots I got my foot stuck between a rutt wall and my bike. If I’d been wearing my trainers at the time I doubt I’d be walking today 🤷🏼♂️ Some kit is simply a necessity whatever the price ……and that’s coming from a ‘tight’ Yorkshire Man 😉😆
