Wow brings back memories...me and my dad would play this game for hours..the graphics look so simple compared to today, but they were amazing back in the day.

Oh my God! I can't believe I am watching this nowadays! I had totally forgotten about this game until I saw the video! Man it's been years since I played it and I don't remember a thing about it! What I do recall however is that it had a very smooth motion the main character simply flowed on air.
omg i LOVED THIS GAME! it was soo far ahead of the other games on the CPC at the time. I was soo addicted I completed the entire thing the day I got it, literally spent hours and hours straight and loved every second of it.
This is the first game I ever completed without cheating (looking up stuff, pokes, etc.) I managed to solve the fourth heart puzzle in a rather unusual way. If you go back to the first stage (where you rescued the sorcerers), picked up a crown, then brought it with you to the second stage, it turned into a golden heart!! I never needed to work out the puzzle because I discovered they reused the character set and changed the sprites! I don't recall what other items changed into what but I had no idea that this wasn't the way it was meant to be finished until years later!
This was the first game I ever bought (or that my Dad bought) and was the first game I ever completed. It's hard, though, when all you have to do is blink as you exit a door and drown. I'm just glad game design has progressed from this, although it was great at the time (and a lovely ending.)

sorcery+ includes sorcery and additional chapter where you can kill the evil necromancien who kidnapped the sorcererers at beginning of game.Veery good part too
This was my first ever game and for a long time it was my favourite. I was so proud of finishing it, although its propensity to spawn you through doorways to a point just above the water was ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. Thanks God game design has (generally) ruled that kind of decision a bad thing.
Maybe, the 4th golden heart is very hard to find (you need to drop a roland statue in the river), by the way i've played sorcery+ again and yes, you right when you write that a crown becomes a golden heart passing from 1th to 2nd world so you don't need to find the last one to defeat necromancer, but you need 4 hearts not 5 ;)
Really? I didn't knew ... But dude in the second world there are 4 hearts, i found them and i've completed the game destroing Necromancer ! Just search on youtube sorcery plus longplay

Woooosh! This is awesome. I played this on a green Screen over 15 years ago. boy, with multicolours, this game ist even better!

I played both sorcery and sorcery+ and didnt find + easier regarding the first part... But maybe I missed a detail.
