Pick up mine tomorrow, so I'm watching all your videos. I found the screen too low too on test ride, so I ordered the Puig touring plus screen, the highest screen at 515mm height
The dealer did it. Also changing the Mitas Terra Force tires to Michelin Road tires solved the steering to the right problem almost completely. (And also my speed whobble at some speeds)
Nice Review! It would be great if you could go into depth more on the accessory electronics that do not come with the base package from an experience point of view. For instance, the Suspension Pro option. How do you use it? Did it help. What can you imagine using it for as you continue your adventures with the 1290 SAS?
Thanks, I'm glad you like the review ! 🙂 There's a lot to say about the electronics and the suspension pro. I will think about it if I can make something interesting around this subject, take care
@@eriklindhardsenact7596 Mine is allways done by the dealer, but it looks that you have to loosen the bolts of the upper triple clamp plate and then re-tighten the steeringhead bolt to the specific torque...but I'm not sure if that's the right way....
Price , reliability cant beat Africa twin..dont come even close I did on Africa Kazakhstan and back have seen bmw and ktms crying like babies 😂😂😂 on nice roads and near garages no problem....
Very entertaining and great video. You explained this bike so good that I am really considering to change from my Africa Twin. 😅👍
😅 thanks 👍
Też chcę zmienić swoją ATAS 1000 DCT na tego ktm ale skrzynia biegów dct trzyma mnie przy afryce. Znowu moc w ktm jest on armatą...

Nice ! Please let me know how the wind protection is, maybe I reconsider to buy one 😉
You will certainly like the bike.
The standard screen made me think there were helicopters circling ahead while driving my local mountain road.

Hello sir what mode is more aggressive sport or rally win msr mtc and what about throttle response rally or sport there
My new SAS (2023floats to the right. Did you tighten the steering head bearings yourself or get the dealer to do it? Is there a torque setting?

Ktm 1290 sas is a very good bike. My only negative is why isn't there a choice in custom switch to allow suspension modes?
May I ask how much costs the spoke wheels please? Thanks
The price was 970€ complete set, wheels, rimband, tpms sensor. But I ordered them online with black friday reduction....
@@FlamesAdventureS oh Nice! Online on ktm or somewhere else? Because I’m also thinking about it 😜
On ktm-versand.de/ 👍
How do you tighten steering head bearing on your ktm 1290 sas?
