To be honest the game atmosphere and situation is bleak and dismal, but goddam the voice acting makes the game unbelievable hilarious, turning make it a more funny game. I love this game.

You can remove the HD pack from your HL directory and get the SMG.

I could finish this level savin' half of the scientists. Which is quite an accomplishment. I could save more, but that'd cost me valuable suit power and health. I could also mince all soldiers (except the ventilation shaft scene, where they just keep coming). I could even shoot down the Escort Carrier at the hangar (y'get moar than enough 9mm ammo, so it's very possible). It is wise to grab a full cache of ammo on this level tho, as Blast Pit is extremely stingy in this aspect. Alas, the cannon turrets and tripmines ate most of my grenades.

My headcanon is that Barney took Gordon to the shooting range to have some fun between friends, this is probably why Gordon knows how to use guns so well

I wish i had this version of hl..i only have the original version of hl but nevertheless still a great game. Hl1 always the best game in no matter what version imo..whether it was a ps1, source, hd ver or crowbar collective ver (black mesa) ..still a very great game.

короче туториал как пройти это всё за 30 секунд в начале главы когда учёный с криками подойдёт к окну начните спамить 'E', потом когда он среагирует сделайте npc abuse с дверью, просто протолкайте ученого к двери и он её откроет (важно не загружать сохранения в этой главе ато npc abuse не сработает), потом нажимаете на кнопку, собираете ресы и стреляете в учёного, и он убежит от вас открыв дверь. вот и всё, глава пройдена
