Cam, you are an inspiration. People laugh at me because as a sophomore I would rather be hunting in the woods with my father, friends, and grandpa, than on the football field or basketball court. I recently purchased a bow and shoot 75 to 80 arrows a day after school. America was founded on freedom and the great outdoors. I am a huge supporter of the shooting sports and hunting. It would be amazing to meet you and shoot with you. Thanks for the shooting advice and inspiration to be the best I can at the thing that I love the most. #LiveToHuntHuntToLive #KeepHammering
im native american (apache). My people hunt, that is all we do. We thank the creator (god) for everything thats out in the wilderness , and Cameron Hanes mentions everything that I believe and what my people believe, by RESPECTING everything, anything thats living. thanks for this video Cameron Hanes. from Bylas,AZ.
alex leyden notice he said “creator”. (God) us natives call our god creator because he made all things, all you are and have is because of him. So always have a grateful heart for it
@RIP YOUNG PAPPY I agree... To some extent. Than their is ethics.. Hunting at night is dangerous.. Especially when they don't end up harvesting the animal because they are to lazy to go find it. They are not helping themselves or anyone for that matter. Just because some white British dude stole their land a million years ago its doesn't mean there are not white people out here who follow their tradition and appreciate them for who they are. It's evident because we out here putting more work in than them as far as keeping our environment safe and protected.
Cam your a true champion, I only recently found your channel and I have been glued to them ever since. Your focus and drive are inspiring and your laid back humble perspective is contagious. Your a true gentleman and an amazing embassador for us hunters. Keep Hammering D.Farrugia, Australia

You are truly a man of honor Cameron. Thank you for being humble and so full of grace! Im friends with Jim the Video man.I lived in Montana for 25 years. Good guy! Your Colorado Elk hunt was awesome!!
Thanks for inspiring me to go outside of my comfort zone. I leave in two days for a solo 8 day Desert Mule Deer Hunt in South West AZ down by Mexico. Would have never done this before.
I recently discovered your videos from looking up the Under Armour commercials. This my first year bow hunting. I was recently told I have arthritis in my spine. I have been pushing harder then ever because of your videos, your positive messages, and your open honest attitude. Thanks Cam you are helping me be a better me at 40 years old. Keep on hammering!
Cam you couldn't have said it better! I am just starting in the sponsorship world with a couple under my belt. But you are right when you say that you have to love what you do!! I have had a really bad year between wildfires where I normally hunt to just bad timing. I know you have worked hard for where you are today so I know that you know how it feels to have a year where nothing happens right and I keep hammering never giving up thanks to all your inspirational videos so thank you!
This is my first year bow hunting and cam you inspire me to go shoot every day and keep progressing all your tips really help me improve my confidence and accuracy with my bow thank you so much!!
You can tell that he absolutely loves what he does still to this day. Like they say if you do something you love for a living you will never have to work a day in your life. But this guy works at it day in and day out stays positive about it. I love his outlook on life.
Blown away your an Oregonian I live in Medford myself. Love watching your videos so much inspiration and great advice for beginners. I subscribed to your channel can't wait for some new videos, I've watched like all of them lol. #teamcam
Class Act Cameron. Every video, thread or post you put up really shows you walk the walk, which is very rare these days. I look forward to watching, learning and respecting you as I continue to learn more about myself through this sport we all love so much.
Hey Cam! Im a big fan and also LOVE to bow hunt. I shoot every day and it's all I can think about. I'm watching all the way form Alabama. I've always dreamed about having my own hunting shows and stuff like that, but anyway, keep up the good work and happy shooting!
I love your videos and your tips that you give to us it has helped me a lot with shooting bows and getting to know my equipment better. I've not had a lot of experience with bow hunting until the past year and you have educated me a lot on my bow which I have now got a Hoyt Powermax and I am getting very interested with bow hunting and shooting and you have helped me become a better shooter!
I just turned 41. And I just got my first bow. I don't have a lot of hunting opportunities because it works a little different in South Africa. So I will concentrate more on competition shooting. I am watching a lot of your hunting videos hoping I can learn from it and apply some of your knowledge when I do get an hunting opportunity some day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Love it. As with many - I'm getting in to the videography stuff. Been teaching myself to hunt (bowhunt) specifically for going on 6 years now and started Middle-American Outdoors last year to chronicle the learning - serve as a resource for people like me who are learning to hunt later in life both to show them what/how I am learning and also to open myself up for critique and learning. Motivated by your work ethic and love for the tradition. Motivated to make sure that this is a tradition available for my children to learn from me.
Great video as usual! I'm a small business owner and I'm asked hundreds of times a month if I can sponsor a certain angler. 99.9% of the time it's a no. Mainly because the angler does not promote his already present sponsors . Also like you said taking good pictures and getting quality videos is also something we look for. What you should do is buy the companies products, use them, promote them, give it a few months and then ask including what you do with their products and what you can produce. Probably the biggest rule is NEVER ask for free products. Auto-matic no most of the time.
I absolutely love that after you and Joe Rogan were elk hunting and laughing about keep hammering that you went out and made a hat that says that. Truly classic. Keep hammering guys.
I like your anchor point with your thumb on your neck. It's tough me to find and consistently maintain a good anchor point. I'll try some adjustments. Cheers.
DUTCH BROS!!!!! way better than Starbucks! Thank you for the tips man I am getting back into bow hunting. Going on my first AZ Elk hunt this August. Great videos Keep up thegood work!
I have been hunting for 15 years now, the last 6 of those have been archery only. I have tried making videos, and editing and continuing to improve on what I make. When my contract with the Army is done in 3 years I hope to be able to do something like this. Thanks for sharing some tips and good luck on whatever you are in pursuit of next.
you rock Cam! I need to apply this philosophy of promotion to my glass and music. I'm far more familiar with a fiddle bow, hunting for the better sound each day. God Bless, see you on the mountain.
Hey Cameron, I just wanted to say thank you. I live in Utah and have been hunting my whole life and a lot of people here look down on hunters. I have been spit at a cussed out for being a hunter. I wanted to say thank you because you are one of the few hunters that give us a good name and show we aren't what we are said to be. Thank you Cameron, really.
I'm pretty well known in the firearms industry for my RUclips channel and Instagram, and I just got into bow hunting. Actually looking to go out for my first time here in a few weeks. I've been watching your videos and you seem like an awesome dude, keep it up man, you have a supporter in me!
As always, love the positivity Cam! On a side note, look into purchasing a GlideCam for these "home" videos. It will steady your video tremendously. Well worth the money.
Dude, you're awesome, I don't know why people condemn you. You are a gift to this "tradition" and would love to meet you one day... too bad I'm In Australia.

I was told from a prospective sponsor that they don't care how good you are. As he said you can have multiple world records but we look at if you can sell. He even mentions skill isn't a requirement!
Im a big bow hunter and I really want to start my own hunting show but have 0 sponsors. I started self filming hunts recently for black bears and whitetails and i would love to get some feed back

Sorry Jason and Luke...
