Are the valves adjustable for temperature control?

I just changed my boiler, All raditors in the house are hot except 1. The plumber bled it until water came out a a couple of times.Hes opened teh valve all of the way too. It gets warm, then it goes cold again. No one can figure out why its happening! its a Burnham boiler we just installed (Im located in NYC)

@@BIDuniversalinfoIm in Brooklyn Im just short of thinking we may have a poltergeist since a licensed plumber has no idea how to fix this (just kidding) . It never happened before he did the conversion, - Its The radiatior is on the first floor in bedroom. Plumber said:::" Once I opened the valve all the way it got hot immediately. I actually also raised the pressure in the boiler as well. I have it running at 38 psi which is over 10 psi more then normal because you have a big system there with large diameter piping. I also installed a larger circulator pump and larger expansion tank on your system. But everything else is getting hot so thats not the issue. The reason I put the larger pump and tank was to make sure the upper floor was good which it is. The valve on that radiator doesn't have a handle on it but I was able to get it open with a pair of pliers, I know for sure it’s fully open now.

Then he went back later and bled teh radiator again and said this: Every single pipe in the basement is scorching hot. Can barely touch them. Every radiator in the first floor is hot as well. The bedroom radiator is bled. I took another 10 coffee cans worth of water out of it just to be sure but it is still not getting hot. It is getting warm, but not hot. And I honestly do not know why. If there was an air pocket I would have gotten it out by now.

@@missdhara6434 Sounds to me like you have an older gravity return hot water heating systems. it also sounds to me that your having a lack of water flow going into the radiator and if I'm correct then it would be a matter of increasing the water into the radiator but I would need to know the layout of the system to better understand what's happening.

Excellent, detailed video--thank you! Do you have anything on refinishing the surface? I'm concerned about toxins in paint being emitted from heating the radiator. Even paints marked as safe, so I'd rather strip it down to the metal and give it a high luster, mercury or mirror finish, like what you see here: ruclips.net/video/uSDGeFeZy3U/видео.html.
Those guys are based in the UK and for some reason every vid I find on cast iron radiator restoration is based somewhere there.
