Honestly, it’s a great little fish. once you get him paired to your device he’s good to go. I would recommend you plug him on his included adapter instead of using batteries because I’ve noticed that some of these drain batteries a little bit more than usual. (yes I actually collect different types of these singing fishes)
Can you use this same concept to hack the sound and voices on Halloween animatronics?
It is very weird that Amazon would associate the Echo product line with BMBB. But... here we have it. ha! It would be interesting to when and why the motors are activated so the board could be used to drive solenoids for hitting meditation chimes (medatative capitalizm) or something like that.

I was actually sad to learn that this one only works with echo.. I have a Google Home Mini and I love it, even better than when we had the echo dot in the home. Does you hacking work with the original 1999 model? I have to repair a few of the gears for the body movement and I'd like to make it more modernized to work as a general Bluetooth speaker. I have no idea really what I'm getting into with that, but I am pretty tech savvy, just not good with coding and all that lol 😅
