Jamie continues to be incredibly underrated for the incredible work he puts into his videos, please give this man a like
Thanks dude :) Hope you're keeping well.
So unbelievably cool that you got to do an interview with Frank Oz. Being a child of the 90s I would have been quaking in my boots with how many aspects of my childhood this guy was involved with creating.
I was floored to hear the fact that he hasn't seen baby grogu in action. I really hope somebody changes that for him after this. If anybody deserves to see the next stage of the Yoda species in action, it's the guy who gave Yoda life
Well said
Hey James, thanks for watching! Frank is so nice and also very down to earth, I'm sure he'd put you right at ease! I hope he gets to see Grogu in action as well one day :)
That kind and respectful
When it comes to puppetry magic, the Wizard IS Oz!
Aye to this!
Amazing Frank Oz. Greetings
Thanks for watching my friend!
This man is an absolute treasure and more people should know about him and his soul threaded work! Thank you for bringing about this interview The Geeknd !
Loved the interview!!
Thanks for watching j.j!

Thank YOU dude!
Damn, Mate. I was looking forward to part II and it didn't disappoint! Superb work as usual, Jamie. Keep them coming!
Thanks mate, glad it didn't disappoint!
Amazing interview, thank you!
Thanks :)
Man I hope this isn’t the last time you guys get to chat. I enjoyed both this and your earlier podcast with Frank! Thank you for asking him our Patreon questions too!
Thanks for watching, Brad :)
Simply amazing, thank you for the elite content
You're welcome, Francisco. Happy new year to you my friend.
Yoda could have done a Miss Piggy "Hi-ya!" karate chop. That would have been great.
This was great I wish it was longer!
So do I! There might be a few bonus clips in the future though ;)
@@TheGeeknd really that sounds awesome!
What a shame that he hasn't seen Grogu in motion, would've been really interesting to hear his thoughts on it.
Hopefully one day he will!
There’s so much to watch. Like uhm… uhhhh. He’s probably watching family feud. NO EXCUSES!!
Jedi, master
Thanks, Jamie! Thanks, Frank! 🗣 #TheGeeknd #JamieStangroom #StarWars #Grogu #Yoda #FrankOz #Happy2023
Thanks, Aunt V and happy new year to you :)
(((tightest hugs))) 🎆
Great interview as always. He makes a good point about the CGI vs puppets. There should be a good balance between both in the films. The Last Jedi Yoda secne was great, you could tell Mark believes in the soul of the character. Nice desk sponsor and cute pug! I cannot believe he hasn't seen Grogu properly! Would be good to see him return again to the galaxy far far away.
Cheers, Jamie mate! Happy new year to you. Wait, which pug are you saying is cute? Is the other not ;)
@@TheGeeknd *pugs 😂
Yoda would win because he can be more diplomatic 🥳!
Good point!
David Acord is the puppet of baby yoda call him din Grogu
I hope they invite him behind the scenes.
I believe in you Dave Filoni!
He’s a new Yoda. His name is Grogu baby type Yoda he new
Again, on side with Frank. Full characters need SOULS, ( personalities) NOT just voices.
I believe in Yoda it’s not baby
perhaps it's because i never re-watched the prequels but i genuinely don't remember the justification for yoda to fight. as far as i can remember the purpose was to be very confusing to somebody who remembers yoda saying "wars not make one great"
Thanks for watching, Michael!
One of the main points of the prequels was to show how the Jedi had lost their way, being hypocritical ("we're keepers of the peace, not soldiers") and playing politics rather than following the will of the force. And it's really cool to see Yoda fight with a lightsaber anyway.
CGI Yoda was absolutely the right decision for Episode 2 and 3. The fight scenes are done especially well. It's a nice change to see Yoda as an athletic and powerful lightsaber fighter, so he's not just limited to using the force.
Yoda should’ve been above using a lightsaber.
ILM legend Steve Williams told me that George Lucas approached him back in '94 to build a digital Yoda. Steve turned him down.
Potato headed Rian Johnson actually made a smart decision... although even a broken watch is correct twice a day.
Hey Paul, hope you're doing well mate!
It’s Grogu is not there. Yoda is doing. Master Jedi yoda he’s a different Yoda from visiting grogu before and ana anakin kill the Jedi Temple
if only ryan johnson had nothing to do with starwars it would have been better
"If only Disney had made a plan to tell a single cohesive narrative over three films instead of throwing some directors together and letting them do whatever they want"
FTFY
@@ryanpiscitelli yes , im not a fan of jj abrams but if they had let him do all 3 movies it would have been a coherent reasonably good trilogy
@@sadev101 perhaps. Honestly Rian Johnson is a much better filmmaker. I would have liked to have seen him tackle all 3.
@@ryanpiscitelli with his attitude of its not a good movie if half the audience does not hate it?
he butchered lukes character for one
@@sadev101 I don't like what he did with Luke, but JJ is about the most generic directors out there. I think Johnson would have told a much different story if he wasn't tee'd off with JJ 's episode IV remake.
