Nice footage. How do you like your large scorch?
    What’s your height/weight?

180-85, 5'11". I love the L Scorch. It has served me well, and you can see how it performs on many other videos on my channel. The M Scorch felt too small, and the X is awesome but feels a bit narrow and unstable compared to the L. The only thing I don't really like about the L is its heavy and unbalanced weight when carrying. I have a ton of foam padding around the knees in the L because its knee box is so cavernous. I use a single seat shim and have the seat moved back towards the stern. That makes it feel more responsive but also a bit more grabby so ymmv. It's an extremely capable and high performance creek boat. Fast, edgy, tons of rocker, boofs great, good volume for smashing big features, good outfitting (once customized). I love it.

@ thanks for responding/feedback. I’ve been in a 9R II large for 5yrs or so and have been eyeing up the scorch or scorch X too). I’m 6’1, 195 so I think it’s sized appropriately for me. I’ll have to demo one. I like moving fast and slalom type paddling/river running in WV/western MD. I like the narrower hulls pyranha makes so the X is also intriguing.
