My ALL TIME favourite comedian hands down😊
i just watched this on Antenna TV and found it HERE after searching for this most funny comedy performance !!!!!! gonna share to FB ! Made me laugh !!!! one of the funniest routines of his ever !
I miss these these guys
R.I.P. George, Johnny and Ed.
Igj
Don´t forget Lenny!
Don't forget Richard and red
You know it's good if you can hear Johnny laughing in the background.
4:48 thats why i like george carlin so much
I love this guy!
Very hilarious
anyone who made Carson laugh like that had to be a genius! Ed McMahon would have laughed in a funeral.
If a real stupid person becomes senile, how do you know? That's genius!
First; Does a really stupid person even know that they're stupid????
Never.
He must have known we would get stuck with Trump!
I would think it should have been, "If a really forgetful person becomes senile... " That would make more sense!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not ripping on George here... I absolutely adore George and his stand-up!
I have all of his regular HBO stand-ups on VHS tape! It's just all these small appearances I haven't seen,
and I agree that this is not his best work, so the people talking about his drug use have their point!
He gets elected president.
here is Johnny , he was and still is the King.
Come on... How can people say this isn't funny? Even at his most off, Carlin still blows just about everyone away. "I never forgot it, but I never quite memorized it either." That's funny!!!
I think Murphy was funnier but this is great
+GhettoMist Eddie Murphy was absolutely brilliant. Shame he hasn't done stand up in thirty years...
glennpagemusic I know right
@@ghettomist1575 my folks never let me watch Lenny Bruce but let me watch this gem of a man
Gotta love George!..LMAO!!
George is right; when people hit someone with their cars they just run (they never stop to see how badly they hurt or killed their poor victim). But when the same people driving and suddenly see someone is hit by another hit-n-run or they see a bad auto accident scene, they all stop their cars and get as close as possible to the scene of the accident just to see every detail of the injury or carnage. and later they go home and excitingly explain to others about how they saw people's faces and bodies were smashed to pieces inside their cars.
People feel no responsibility for the damages or pain they inflict on others, but they want every justice in the world to help them get even when others inflict pains on them. It's like we hear people are saying, "I should get away with my crime, but others should never get way with their crimes."
Jay Wolf You sound like a psychopath. LOL
cogen651 well i just explain how you people are. if that makes me a psychopath then you're saying your people are all psychopath.
Dave Fonseca But the problem is the same people who do that think they're "good".
i dont think is a question of bad or good, its just human nature. Humans are shitty and selfish by nature. We dont care about anybody but us and our families, thats why we love to watch and even slow down to "see the details", because inside were thinking, (boy im glad it wasant me)
Jay Wolf "...They got enough trouble without you stopping too."
He is passionate about his contribution for life! Rip, George
this is the young, goofy, funny George, I liked that George.
Very hilarious routine & comedian
Even when Carlin was just testing out new material he was better than most other comics with their best material
Well, I am going to disagree. This was the era of stand up and there were many of George's contemporaries who were just as good. Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Robert Klein, David Brenner and Rodney Dangerfield were all at the top of their game.
@@craigjgomez I said MOST other comics. Not all.
@@craigjgomez The era of stand-up? 😮 I thought that was in the early 1960:s. 😉
i like this guy he has potential
*had been, he's dead now. The word "has" which implies that he is still doing it. If there was a heaven, you would be right.
Jesus Christ people ?!?!?
Ever hear of SARCASM ?!?!?!
In some countries sarcasm isn’t a thing
Yeah. He could even be famous some day. I'm sure he cares a lot about what people think of him.
Spot on! good 'un!, tranquil nice
It’s funny that there are less developed, cleaned up bits of his classic routines from the 90s that were in this set, like running over a man in a sheepskin coat and the list of “gourmet” foods (candied unicorn McNuggets became candied moose balls). Shows how long his talents really took to come into totally full fruition
This is George Carlin “To The Max” right here 😂
Ha ha ha ha , love George Carlin.
5:48 Amazing.
the incomparable George carlin.
This is why Carlin and TV don't really mix. He can't say most of the things he really wants to say.
The comedy version of “the albums are pretty good, but they’re great live.”
George could always get his point across regardless. That's how good he was. A lot of comics could not or can not. That's the difference.
@@jasonnn2284 This country used to have a sense of humor and people could laugh at themselves. All the PC crap has ruined this country. Ever since the Clinton's
@@floatsting20 Funny will always be funny. George Carlin is different. People still have a sense of humor, there's so much hilarious content out there right now.
@@jasonnn2284 Point me to someone presently.
Still getting this video recommended. You know you tube algorithm isn't that bad.
3:51 - "You know what you never see? A Japanese guy named BIFF." Carlin was awesome in his monologues ("Stuff" and "Euphemisms" for example) but every so often he'd zing a one-line joke which--if you were listening closely--could break you up.
I love carlin, true love ❤️
This Clip From "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" Came From November 27, 1986.
I know how good Carlin was in 66, 76, and 96 - I forgot that I'd been watching all thru the 80s, and he killed
You left us before they really got busy boning us. Thanks for memories
the voice of my childhood. rip
A friend of my uncle once saw george carlin on tv
Fascinating
+MoeGreensLeftEye We see him on youtube, which is cool too.
Amazing
what a time
Lmao this is funny
Damn I miss this show!!!
"if a dumb person goes senile, how do you know" there's no bottom limit to intelligence george, believe me lol
lmao, the best
Couldn't get past the glare from those glasses
He is funny 😄
if the shoe fits... get another one like it!
LSD 101, a class I taught 744 times, required watching George. I see him for drinks every other day. What a laugh!
George's impression of Kirk Douglas and Walter Brennan has me rolling with laughter despite not knowing what either of them sounds like.
Noob
Eric Carr of KISS died from heart cancer, actually. But that was in 1991, so George was still on...
4:43 - still relevant ))
Dude just is in the zone, new material or changed material or changing his set for TV or making a bit for TV or just freestyle it . We’ll never know but:..I’ve never seen Carlin uncomfortable and not in command. Maybe it’s just not taper but…,he was always on
A rare Carlin segment that isn't that funny. He's usually terrific.
goddamn that moment when you realize he just gonna do bit after bit now. And the next oen is always better that came before
this reminds me of something really deep
Carlin is the greatest, but maybe not at his best here. He even seems a little nervous.
Testing out new material maybe and probably wired 😂
particle beam weapon...1986...
If you get a shoe just like it...wouldn’t you have 2 of the same foot shoe?
I feel like this guy has a lot of potential. He might be a big star someday.
If a real stupid person becomes senile how do you know? 😂😂😂
this guy was the first tony stark
This is so 20th century
I'm sure Carlin was very funny, but this particular spot isn't grabbing me.
4:04 "You know what you never hear of? Cancer of the heart." Try telling that to Eric Carr of Kiss.
You can't. He's dead.
My point exactly. :-)
What did he die of?
Heart Cancer. It's rare, but it's real. I just think it's funny.
From Eric Carr's Wikipedia page: "He remained a band member until his death of complications from heart cancer on November 24, 1991"
From Kiss' website: "Sadly, drummer Eric Carr became severely ill with cancer and passes away on November 24, 1991 at the age of 41."

I know my history of Kiss...asshole.
I think in every state where cannabis is legal every business should give their employees a two joint coffee break and a nap time in the daily schedule
When his act is "PG" rated, he is very much like Steven Wright.
He's beginning to feel like a comic god, comic god....... (The Eminem of Stand up)
Eminem is important?
GhettoMist
Well sure. What have you accomplished? Carlin was a god, and that song was in my head. So what. Lets arm wrestle bitch.
Violet Newstead I haven't done anything lol, yet. I still don't get his importance, but I guess I see what your saying. How would we arm wrestle lol. Im not much of a tough guy so you win by default.
GhettoMist
Mad Love. Follow that dream. GO!
Violet Newstead Which dream... Are you god?
"Cocaine made me feel like a new man ..." G.C.
5:41 Not intended to be funny 6:02 Douglas
TWO LEGENDS. NOTHING GETS BETTER THAN CARSON AND CARLIN. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE AT CARLINS LAST SHOW EVER! I SAW HIM AT THE ORLEANS IN VEGAS. AMAZING! HE DIED 2 WEEKS LATER. NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN
4:59 Donald Trump explained in one joke.
OK George I get it. Strange animals make for strange meals. Geez.
Great story and joke teller. What a memory eh?
I like a joke as much as the next guy but so often have trouble thinking of one straight off the bat. Yet when someone else is telling 'their' joke a whole bunch of jokes spring to mind. This is not the case with George Carlin and his gags. I'm not sure if it's the topics he speaks about or his delivery.
American humour, sometimes its just not funny, this guy was good sometimes, the punchlines are a bit silly
he looks so much different with shorter hair before he started losing it.
5:56
5:00 Answer: They become the President of the United States.
A bit nervous but very funny still. Not his best but very good
He memorised this nonsense. thats quite hard to do
Space heater
He stool his hat !
i like him , but this was like WTF :D
I like the counterfeit money joke that was good especially since his religion is BS
Thomas man
Medlife Crisis has a video on why there is no such thing as cancer of the heart
It's funny how he became legendary for no-nonsense humor, but he started out as a complete nonsense comedian.
Rufus
Borderline Woody Allen
That'd be a great title for a film. Or a Psych Ward.
Woody is f'ing BORING, a wannabe self absorbed little gnome!!!
He IS as funny as his off color comedy when he WANTS to be, because the/his comedy is based on the quality content of the material. In this segment was weaker material, and adding 4 letter words here would not improve this lot. Robert at 66.
he washi...ripeace
Damn, he is skinny here.
Cancer of the heart does exist: www.mayoclinic.org/heart-cancer/expert-answers/faq-20058130
Carlin was the best, but this spot is garbage, he had to tone this down for TV. Watch his live work.
He's on coke in this video~
***** This was during his heavy coke era and his facial tics/expressions are a give away. If you've been around it your entire life you know what you're looking for. Very frequent nose touches and constantly touching oneself/rubbing your hands is very common
Almar Winfield Your talking about Johnny right? (you idiot)
Violet Newstead you're* and no
Violet Newstead wanna watch?
Almar Winfield I really do not see it. Watch Chris Farley interviews to see definite cocaine use.
George's humor is really forced here and doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere but a need to make an appearance. I've never seen him so off. But also, when Johnny comes to his aid (in the next segment) you can see George laugh, which, when you think about it, isn't something we saw much at all - even though he made the rest of us laugh a lot.
people would just show up on johnny's show for the hell of it. nothing going on, no movie, no magazine article, no tv show to plug; they just came on to chat and be seen. i always thought those were the best guests and the best times on the show. ones that come to mind: terri garr, burt reynolds. they were notorious for just "being there".
First time I’ve seen this appearance, and it’s also the first time I’ve seen Carlin bomb. That HAD to be embarrassing, given his level of success along with being on the most revered stage in television. Oh well, doesn’t matter now, given that he’s dead…and burning in hell, being the God hater that he was.
Wait......where did you say he was? In a non physical form, on another plane of reality, in a made-up lake of eternal fire in your childish imagination?
Please site some sources, or otherwise provide evidence for your statement Sir.
Wierd.. when did he become "old Carlin"?
Didn't a member of kiss die of heart cancer?
I don't understand the stork joke. Why is it funny that a wishbone made a lot of noise???
...waiting for the funny parts....
Not funny at all, though I remember when he was.
This guy is terrible. Nor did I find any of this funny.
