he was in training with me for 45 days 3 years ago. but he hasn't done a whole lot since then and now his owners have decided to bring him back into training for a tune-up. And then he's up for sale. after a few days of ground work and just letting him settle in this is our first ride. Remember that he has not been written in over 3 years and we have to go over everything and re-establish the foundation that we built before. so what I'm very interested in doing is being able to move his head, neck, shoulders, and hind quarters. make sure that he walks off and stops and backs. this first ride is mainly just to establish control and to find out what areas need to be worked on.
This is perfect. Im restarting my OTTB after three years of down time. His ground manners and work are impeccable and he yeilds everything pretty fast as soon as i remind him. So 🖤🖤 im excited to get on him and see how he does. Hes amazing, i just gotta work on my confidence now
So happy for you. Keep up the good work. :)
Check out more of this horse's videos. He's coming along nicely.

Just love it.!! Great video.
Great video as always! You make it all look so effortless lol but very informative and that's what I love about your videos❤ thanks❤
I love your videos! Is there any chance you could use a microphone so that we can hear everything you’re saying when you’re farther away from the camera? I notice I have to turn the volume up pretty high and I still struggle to hear a lot of what you’re saying. It would be a shame to miss out on any of your information as I find it to be excellent advice! 🙏🏼💜
One question though and it's probably going to sound like a dumb question but...... here goes. It seems that you use basically the same arena area to work all your horses in, but you never seem to have any issues with the ground becoming too soft and thick to work in? I'm sure you probably have access to a tractor or something else along the lines to drag the arena but I'm not that fortunate yet...... So my question is what do you recommend for keeping such a large area from becoming over worked if it's the only area that you have to work in? I'm in Florida so I am already battling the sand daily and I noticed that you have what looks like clay footing..... is that native to the area of TX that you're in or did you have to have the clay brought in?
You went from button 1 to 3.is there a 2
Here's a better explanation of buttons.
