- In this short Documentary, we delve into the underbelly of the world of football hooliganism. Four of Britain s most notorious hooligans from the 60's, 70's 80's and 90's reveal all in this one off documentary.
Cass Pennant, one of the most notorious men in football, ran and was a huge part of the ICF, which attached itself to West Ham United F.C. Pennant speaks out about the racial discrimination he suffered as a youth, which subsequently led to a life of violence, crime and jail time, the importance of fashion and The Kray Brothers. Pennant has had a film made about his life, published many books and is a successful author.
Gary Clarke, is well known across Nottingham as being one of the founding members of the well documented firm, Forest Executive Crew. He has received five banning orders and has been involved in football violence since he was a youth.
Steve Cowens, a Sheffield born and bread, Cowens played a major part in building the reputation of the Blades Business Crew. He was instrumental in gaining a reputation for never turning down a fight, even when the odds were stacked against him.
Colin Blaney, ex Manchester United thug blaney talks all about his time as a "grafter" and his struggle to push his way into violence from a young age. Blaney has spent a decade of his life behind bars for his part in football related crimes.
People judge hooligans when most of the time they are generally respectful lads who just enjoy a tear up
its the tear up that people have a problem with
Not a bad documentary. Just needs cleaning up a bit - take the comments here as constructive criticism - sort out the typos on the text, the audio, the irrelevant music, the big black screen pauses with no leading questions, and the accuracy with your clips; keep your audience at the forefront of your mind, besides the iffy bits its pretty solid journalism, interviews are well shot and nicely edited. Keep at it, and respect for getting these guys on camera and keeping it real.
thats not cardiff city centre is the kings road in Chelsea lol
Im 35 lived next door to fratton park my hole life. Never got involved with the naughty Pompy boys. But it was fucking grate watching it all kick off, from the comfort of my bed room lol
Late 90's Leeds beat Pompey 5 - 1 in the FA Cup at Fratton Park. Before the game a load of Leeds piled out of a pub not to far from the away end as some Pompey went by.
Old Bill moved in quickly and separated the fans and blocked the pub to stop the rest of the Leeds lads in there coming out.
Leeds set fire to the pub and as Plod let the fans out it all kicked off again.
Happy days
The opening & closing scenes were not filmed in Cardiff they were at Chelsea away in FA CUP on the Kings Road
It says "Cardiff City Centre" the beginning of this video. That's not Cardiff at all, it's Fulham, right near Stamford Bridge.
First video is not cardiff city centre it's the kings road Chelsea.
This program says Cass was born and bred in the East End. Wrong. Born in Doncaster, grew up in Kent.
Gary Clarke looks like a bald vinnie Jones
that's what I like about the human race, we are all so civilised
The opening scene was kings road in Fulham not Cardiff.
If I was accused of being naughty, then it would be because I didn't tidy my bedroom after my mum told me to, rather than kickcing off at football.
Never seen a fair fight despite going the game now for 50 years always one bullying another yes so e tough lads, around but there are tough lads everywhere else
Gary Clarke is one of the frontmen of FEC forest executive crew. Which I really admire
0:02 That's about 150 miles away from Cardiff City Centre.
Cass Pennant is the real deal. No matter what people say here in the comments :P
fuckin bullshiter aswell
The most rational, level interpretation yet! finally, Cass, no ego? Just remember, quote,"push harder you gooner cunts", unquote: After tea and toast round Jimmy's after a week under duress? lol, hardly! Hope You got home? Cpt Wee Rab & Mad Dog AFC
Did good $ Us ALL
Yeah he was at Victoria Station running backwards. And know he's a undercover football hooligan. We've done more travelled more yet don't have to tell everyone about it you know if you were there. you 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋cfc. When hickeys coach comes over the hill with 50 geezers ready to kill

Be in a gang when you're 15 I suppose. But grown men beating up other grown men because they wear a different coloured scarf. Really!!! Sad
No...whats really sad are sheep like you...judging something you know nothing about, let alone have experienced.

In school they called them remedials.
You didn’t, you kept your mouth shut & got Bullied.
the video at the start is wrong by the way it aint cardiff city centre, its kings road chelsea.thought you should be corrected for your mistake 👍🏻
Cass was no way the first to be jailed for football related violence , he was jailed in 1980 i was sentenced to 6 month in prison in 1974 Boro against Carlisle so i was 6 years before him
gaming rockstar420 Good for you. Your parents must have been very proud.
+IndependentGeorge76 i reckon you are being sarcastic, but you shouldn't. if you haven't noticed this man is a rockstar of the gaming industry, perhaps ranked somewhere around 419-421
Boro front line (Middlesbrough) were top of the hooligan league.
What was that Lee duffy like? Didn't he use to bully members of the frontline
I before E, except after C!
The song at the beginning of the video is quite cool but it's inappropriate. The punk scene wasn't the football scene.
Liverpool are the real casuals 😂 he's just a fucking wool 😉
Let's get it right the first vid was at chelsea not Cardiff.
@ 8. 04 - 11.50

+junior dean Stranglers, golden brown
the song has nothing to do with football....it's about smack.
Darude sandstorm
Why cant they be like Rugby and Cricket fans and just enjoy the game without smacking some poor bloke over ??
Rob Osborne rugby and cricket fans are more likely to be well off. Aren’t you clever enough to work that one out yourself?
@@maxdembo2029 to be fair these days football fans have to be rich to afford to watch their teams regularly

That's what I thought too!
Gotta love a good scrap at the football
Cass Pennant actually a really nice and intelligent guy I can’t believe he was ever involved in this kind of stuff and became a leader but I guess we all do stupid shit when we’re young
middlesbrough frontline utb
Who ?
The story here is, I was small weak maybe gay and bullied at home school and work. So I got together with similar bellends formed a gang and picked on others .
ben marshall said guy who know nothing about ultras/hooligans. I dont know for Britain now, but in eastern europ and balkan there is no place for "scared" "gays". And every guy from balkan will beat you down, so you like 1 on 1, gym or street.

He's a real man. I hate these holier than thou people who say you're a bad person if you like a bit of a dust-up.

Top man Cass , you Billy and the boys, hardest fucking mob around. ICF
LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ICF and Bil G and Under Fives top drawer Cas was a nobody if you don't know that it's cos you've read books he's made good from writing but no where near a top boy
The sheff Utd lad at the end summed it up in a nutshell for me, rest were just woolly backs apart from cass of course...LUFC 🇬🇧
In Cass's book, he conveniently forgot about the time Leeds over ran West Ham in the fruit market in Green Street, must have been 1982, the season Leeds were relegated.
The Tube Train was crammed from Kings Cross and must have been close to a 1,000 spilling out and swelling the numbers already there.
West Ham were battered and the only time battered so close to The Boleyn.
Colin Blaney LEGEND
ask him about 1974 wen glasgow rangers took the stretford end.?
convictions for stealing sweets maybe
Haha.... 1st clip was kings road chelsea v cardiff f.a. cup not Cardiff City centre haha
Stranglers?!
The Only book that's a factual account is hoolifan by Martin King CfC RIP
I know the Boro's Frontline have a lot of respect for Cass & the old ICF
Only 1 frontline and that's Wrexham.
alan wxm thanks mate, i didnt even know wrexham had a firm let alone calling it "Frontline" but have googled it and low & behold its actually true, mmmmmmm wonder why ur not mentioned in any books, (unlike the boro, who always get a respectable mention, lol, esp for being game as fuck, ah but them days are well gone
Didn't know? Not blowing our own trumpet here but we've battled against the best plenty of mentions in everton Cardiff swansea Tranmere and Burnley books etc we've been around since the early 80s we've even played your lot a few times in the cups. As for well gone not all true the lower leagues is where it's at these days.
yep u have, i'm not gonna bullsh*t, from what ive read, (which was a few reports, extracts etc..) but have to say there's nothing but good write-ups, all about how game wrexham are, and how they always give a good account, & dont back down etc...etc... honest it was like i was reading about the boro crew, (and if that is'nt a massive respect i dont know what is)
and yes there is chew in lower leagues, but nothing compared to the "good old days" and doubt it ever will be
Bad audio
Should let them rent a space to beat each other up. Waste of public money having police try to manage it every weekend and god knows how much the health service has lost patching them up. Get them to take out some insurance and have a ruck on their own coin.
banning orders are a joke I know a kid got banned cause he knocked a coppers hat off by accident , and of course he was as dangerous as a pitbull in a playground
You used to see coppers' helmets getting lobbed onto the pitch left, right and centre. Their own fault for going onto the terrace. I worked with a bloke whose brother (soft arses, the pair of them) knocked a copper out with one punch to the chin at the footy. Farquhared if I can remember names, faces or where I was working at the time, of course. Just goes to show ... one lucky shot.
Forest were the scruffiest fans maybe just behind Carlisle no idea don't listen to him talking about fashion used to feel you was proper smart when you got of the train
I've rode couple those fresh faced scaly boys. Not bad buckle too, but real good at blowing the big boys.
Arm wavers not fighters
RESPECT TO ENGLISH TOP BOYS!THEY ARE TRUE PEOPLE NOT BLOODY LIARS.....FROM ATHENS
None of the top boys will ever be remembered ever, what a waste of life.?????keep on fighting and dying in the process.
Top boys? more like top muppets
Want to see some real hardmen with big big balls watch the TT races and read up on some of the riders and the history
+A SAID WEE MAN
TT Racers and adrenaline junkies reach a point where they know they'll know nothing about it if they die.
It's not the same as confronting maniacs knowing you're going to feel every bat, fist and foot and possibly be crippled for life or blinded, brain damaged.
They're far too dumb to comprehend the implications

Just cause you get nicked slapping someone at a football match doesn't make you Ard. Only Cass from that list was hard. And he was proper hard.
I'm Spurs by the way

Chris Fryers oh ok so you good friends with him yeah ?
Why would you ever wanna tell the world your spurs 😂
casual movement started on mersyside well know fact then everyone followed
Just a pity no one gives a fuck
Wrong.
Theres photographs of Liverpool lads in 1977 wearing Adiddas. By 1978 most Liverpool lads were onto it. Any footie fan knows Liverpool started it. United claim it was them with the Perry Boys but that wasnt really on the terraces. Aberdeen says it was them but we played them in 1980 and they never had a clue . Most footie books says it was Liverpool. It was .
These lot are ok at least they fight each other and not people that don't won't to be involved
HAHAHAHA ooooooo I'm shaking HAHAHAHAHAHA
Div
Cass is a given, the other three? The Manc I can give a pass but to include ( in a list of four) Forest and the Blunts is laughable, and the BGM??? London Calling as a backdrop to a Northerners rants is bad enough but straight after a Londoner is pathetic.
Fella, if you didn't rate Forest late 70's and 88-94 then sorry, but you weren't around.
Forest late 80s,,fuckin fearless.

I went to the dell a few times in the late 80s with chelsea. Your right Southampton rarley get mentioned, don't know why because they were always game and turned out a very decent firm. They also travelled well and made themselves busy at Stamford Bridge whenever they came up.. Great days, great lads..
