Not the EXACT same layout. Intamin has smoothed the transitions, and changed the first drop. It also has lap bars instead of over the shoulder restraints now The chain lift hill is also a cable lift hill now, though that and the restraints ofcourse don’t change the layout
Not a fan of the restraints on colossus. I think this will be much better personally. The new style Intamin trains and restraints are by far my favourite right now.
@@coasters4life388 new intamin trains allow you to feel forces far better than any other imo. Even the mack restraints are too big and bulky I think. And there will be enough airtime on the hill into the cobra roll 😉

Yes The Big One May lose its height record. This ride has more inversions than icon, eight to be exact. Don’t worry about it, your learning and that’s all that matters. If your interested in rollercoasters that makes you an enthusiast
TP are planning a taller coaster yes, but the layout looks rather poor to me. There were plans a few years ago for a B&M hyper to go in that space and run down the back of the park, and the layout looked so good too, compared to this one they've gone for.

Makes total sense! Already have 3 steel looping coasters and 5 steel family coasters. Instead of getting an intamin mini light or mack one or mack spinner or something really unique, or even a great mid size woodie, just something with a good airtime mix that the park sorely lacks, they go and spend millions on a mega looper that is *identical* to one just four hours down the road. Man, I'd love to have a face to face at some of the decision makers at these parks. EDIT - Now that I have found out this cost the park 20.3 million POUNDS (~25 million USD), as confirmed by the park themselves, I not only stand by my comment, I am going one further to call the people in charge at Flamingo Land literally insane. I thought they might have got it for 5 million or something. But 25?!! Wildfire and Railblazer (RMC single rail, awesome in every way) combined cost just a bit more than half of this one coaster. Insanity. They could have had a MACH extreme spinner AND an RMC single rail AND had change from 25 million USD! I honestly don't even know what else to say. They would have had attractions that would have been worth travelling to from all over the world.. suddenly a world class amusement destination. But I mean, their choices thus far really show the repeated perpetual stupidity - an SLC and Volare for crying out loud. They seem to like crappy clone coasters (yes I know their SLC is a shenlin model) for some inexplicable reason. The Intamin 10 inversion coaster is nothing much at all. I'd honestly rather ride almost anything else. Why Flamingo? Why? And sadly, it's not going to be a good investment, mark my words. It's not going to draw the crowds in. Sorry.

what are you smoking?? this coaster is absolutely nothing like any of the others on park? they had a small space to put this coaster in and this was a good choice for them, for a lower price too. how are you going to try and compare this coaster to a compact el loco, an invert and a flying coaster?? not the same ride as colossus either, and even if it shares some similarities, who cares? the two rides are 5 hours away from each other, hardly something to cry about

I had ridden on the same model (at now defunct wonderland eurasia) and it is more like if colossus and I305 had a child (maybe not in terms of positive G's but it is really whippy and forceful and it throws you around a lot)
