The 10 men from Arsenal were absolute heroes in the second half - their fans should be proud. Trossard’s red card was a reckless mistake, and Rodri’s injury could be a game changer. If the title or my opinion triggers you, maybe it’s time to take a break and touch some grass.

Terry the consistency issue is even worse than should Doku have been booked. Sky and NBC Commentators heard the VAR. The same VAR that are not supposed to be involved in yellow cards. They were saying that it was a reckless challenge. So the commentators said then commentated that the card was for the "reckless challenge". Then EPL go on Twitter and claim it was for kicking the ball away. Now they have changed it back to a reckless challenge. Maybe they didn't want to deal with the fact that Doku kicked the ball away earlier in the same game and nothing being given so that is why they may have claimed the alleged reckless challenge was the reason in the end. I don't actually fully know why Trousard was sent off. Then comes the consitency of application of the kicking it away rule. Is this stupid rule a rule or isn't it? Or is it just a rule for some?
PGMOL realises the only way to stop Arsenal winning is by sending a player off.

Fans need to do something, because Arsenal have been on the shit end of most of the decisions in recent seasons, especially the last one, but it can happen to ANYONE'S squad at any game! In relation to the referee; This is how they sneak bias through. Officiate in the strictest possible “by the book” way for the team you want to fuck over while ignoring the same infringements for the other side. Gives plausible deniability while still tipping the scales.
Oliver's got so much form for favouring City too, he's as corrupt as they come in my book. On the UAE payroll & he earned himself a nice bonus today.

Go watch the game again… the whistle was late and Trossard was already in motion to kick the ball and he didn’t hear the whistle, that’s not a second yellow. Doku and Silva kicked the ball away and got no card plus Haaland didn’t get any booking for committing 4 fouls including hitting Gabriel with a ball on his head.

Terry, it can’t be termed “Inconsistent” if it consistently happens to one(1) team every match. Referees tend not to see when other players kick the ball away but once an Arsenal player does, it is a card. By the way, Trossard did not play the ball away, he hit the ball to the other wing to Martinelli to start a counter attack. A question for you Terry, why are referees so quick to give an Arsenal player a card without thinking it through or reaching out to VAR?

In two years MIchael Oliver has made seven disgusting calls on teams facing Man City. Remember last year, Kovacic should have gotten two red cards but given none by Oliver. After the match Oliver was asked why Kovacic wasn't given at least a yellow and his response. "It was a big game and I didn't want to ruin it." He didn't mind ruining today's game

This was probably our toughest stretch of games, Away at villa, brighton at home, away at spurs, and then a thurs night away in CL before being away at city (having had less time to prepare due to their wed night home game) and we came out of that run with 2 wins and 2 draws, which tbh i'd have taken going into it. It's a shame one of those draws was in the easiest game, but this team are honestly on another level this year. and we've still got Merino and Odegaard to come back. I've been so impressed with Timber and Califiori, so our only real weakness defensively last year down that left side is gone, it's just a question of keeping as many key players fit and keeping those standards high. So the announcers listening to the VAR conversation mentioned it was for a reckless challenge. Then PGMOL came out and said it was for delaying a restart...THEN they came put again, contradicted themselves and said it was for the challenge. You can't make up how inept this whole organization is. Never a yellow for that challenge. There were much harsher challenges earlier in the game that went unpunished.
I think ppl are quick to forget last season. We started slow then too and then went through a period of scoring 4,5 and 6s. Wait until we get our talisman back and merino comes in to the midfield

The time between the refree whistle and Trossard kicking the ball was 0,84 milliseconds, if it was at least 1.5 to 2 seconds it would make sense that he was no longer following up on an action. I mean what kind of nonsense to think players must play with the fear that if the overrun with the ball after the whistle they will be booked? If kicking away the ball is time wasting and bookable offence, why add 7 minutes after full time? If players waste time there is additional time to cover wasted time, it’s now double punishment to book players and add time.
I will urge you to take a look at the replay of the action of Trossard’s red card. If you have played the game you’ll not blame Trossard or even think he was delaying play. Let me explain:
1. When the yellow card was given everyone thought it was because of the challenge even the commentators and the Man City players. Everyone thought it was because of the challenge on Bernardo silva. That already shows how irrelevant and weak the reason for the yellow card is.
2. Even if it was a yellow because of delaying play. Look at the time the whistle went and the time Trossard kicked the ball away, and given the intensity of the game and that Trossard was in motion. Can we honestly say that was time wasting?? Berndo silva was even lying on the ground, can a free kick be taken that fast even when a player is lying down?? Let’s be honest about this.

About the time added on. The ball was in play 35mins in the second half. The most it has been in any game this season. So why did ref add on 7mins and play till 10mins.
