Why are they finding it hard to win things heard this the last 3 seasons on how they are the best attacking team they must of forgot how to play the last part of the season because they definitely fell apart
Alice, as always, got it right. When the City machine started to grind, M. Olivier came to the rescue. Last season he didn't give Kovacic a second yellow card because "I didn't want to kill the game", but today he decided to kill the game. Webb will defend him, but the shame will remain.

an any other industry, this ref wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a City game. It would be considered a conflict of interest by the companies ethics code… but in EPL it’s perfectly fine apparently. Embarrassing

Correct me if I’m wrong, Havertz blonde sided Rodri today and got no card and yet Arsenal fans didn’t say a word; Troussard kicked the ball away in the 1st half after he got his first YC and nothing happened (just like Doku and both should’ve receive one) yet no Arsenal fan upset about it; Troussard on a YC goes through the back of Silva with an elbow and doesn’t get a YC when that’s a YC everyday and then kicks the ball and get a YC.
Arsenal score when the whistle hadn’t been blown AND you moved the ball 10 yards further forward that the spot AND Walker has been called by the ref, was out of position when Arsenal kicked the ball without a whistle. I noticed you’re not complaining about that either, yet you’d be crying murder IF Coy had done.

We had to play on Sunday against spurs away, Thursday away at Atalanta (first time I ve seen a team play on Thursday in a champions league game) and Sunday away at city... on the other hand city have played at home the last three games..

Fought to the last with 10. Say what you want, but that point gained/won for both teams was hard earned. Proud of the boys.
Raya has been class since about half way through last season. He's a very complete keeper that does everything well and doesn't buckle under pressure. He was a bit wobbly at the start with us but boy has he grown into the role now. The way he's going he could be our player of season come next May.
He’s already in the running for Save of the Season in the PL and in the CL in the span of a month.

Fair analysis, only things that no one speaks about is the amount of times city surrounded the ref with no consequences, Reuben on a yellow card elbowing Havertz in the face, Haaland flooring Partey and if kicking a ball into a player is a yellow card then why is throwing it into a players face not one.

Trolls will be trolls. they'll say anything, as illogical they are 99% of the time, to trigger a response from arsenal fans. proud of the performance, real frustrating to see this sort of shite officiating happening on week by week basis. Always nice to get an unbiased view of Arsenal. It's a genuine sickness from rivals, they think Arsenal play to hand over points to the big clubs, it's a really strange attitude that we will be looking back on in a few decades at how strange it all is

They had 10 men but just put them all on the goal line and offered nothing. Even with 11 they don’t score enough goals. Liverpool with 10 men and scored 2 goals away at Newcastle

Fine analysis Alice-as usual. I have to laugh when City whine about other clubs doing a bit of time wasting and they are out of control when surrounding the ref with every decision-no one else gets away with that. Black arts can be used both ways. Arsenal did well , and I feel are the moral victors today. I do think Trossard let the side down for such an intelligent player-if refereeing is as inconsistent as it has been one must tread carefully to prevent 2nd yellows. David Raya has been on another planet-wouldn't mind him being 2-3 inches taller but you can't have everything.
I agree, Alice. Although the last minute goal by Stones was a heartbreaker for us Gooner fans, you could easily see that game ending up 3-2 or 4-2 Citeh. Yeah the most critical point of last season was Liverpool's draw with City at Anfield when Doku's chest high assault on Macalister didn't yield a penalty in the last minute, was the most consequential moment of the previous season regards to top four finishes and momentum. In the title run in.😮

NOW im no expert and this IS NOT an exact science but i timmed Mr olivers whistle from the second i heard it until i seen trossard kick it, i got 0.48 0.55 and 0.49 on 3 seperate tries with a stopwatch..... now im not exactly sure that HALF A SECOND should be punishable by a second yellow and a red card?
Is this really where the game is at now you have 0.5 of a second to react to the refs whistle and if you don't then your off because thats the letter of the law?? where was the letter of the law when Doku did it ot when Bernado Silva did it? where is the letter of the law then why is it only applied to Arsenal players?
Exactly. I'm glad you took note of it. Why are the pundits not analyzing the red card and the number of seconds between the ref and trossard kicking the ball? A lot of pundits are just blaming trossard without even taking things into context. It's really a shame the game has come to this.

up until the red card, we were the better team and create better chances. should've been 3-1 up. we're undefeated vs City the past 4games and we still haven't got a striker to challenge them either.
Check the stats Alice. City are one of the quickest teams to restart play, take goal kicks, throw-ins, and corners, as well as having the highest percentage of total minutes with the ball in play. Its only free kicks they delay the same amount as Arsenal.

How on earth did Man City not win this 4 or 5 goals totally bossing Arsenal, Trossard's action costed in the end and how did Raya not get sent off for timewasting over and over again.

Ffs. He was already starting the motion to send the ball to Martinelli right when Oliver blew the whistle, he had less than two seconds to react to it and stop. It wasn't like what Doku did for example when the ball was already dead.
Before the game, I already expect a draw at Etihad as a win for Arsenal. But today I'm not changing my mind about it. It still a win for me today. Just that we conceded in the last minute after hard fought for more than 55 minutes really frustrated me so much. If they equalized before 80th mins, I maybe still feel good. haha...

The ball almost touhes Trossard's foot when the whistle was blown. They say the yellow is for kicking the ball away. This is the same referee that gave Martinelli 2 quick yellows in one move. He hates us.
