Arsenal Are Clearly The BEST Side In The Country | Man City 2-2 Arsenal

- Arsenal have drawn 2-2 with Manchester City at the Etihad in a Premier League game that had everything. Haaland scored his 100th Man City goal, Trossard was sent off, Arteta got it right, John Stones scored in the last minute and Arsenal had to share the points with City in the end. Arsenal fans will feel gutted but I think they should be over the moon.

What impact do you think this game will have on the title race?
U was celebrating last minute city goal 😂😂
No impact 😂 cos city will still win the league even if Arsenal win 9 games on trott
Tony pulis ball won't win you anything
0 Impact lol 😂 bruh 👀
Because its Just The Start 👍
@@Stegarts-t5y played on Thursday, had a day less to prepare than City, i'm not sure what else they could do
The problem isn't Trossard, it's the inconsistency of the officials. The rules are not being applied consistently. THAT is the issue. When Trossard kicked that ball, he was continuing play a second after the whistle. And even the VAR talk was about the challenge being the reason for the second yellow. Then they changed their mind to the kicking the ball because it would be easier for Oliver to cover his ass. This match laid bare the piss poor standards of officiating in the PL once again. (And that's not even to mention Oliver's side gig in the UAE and the fact that he has now made half a dozen shocking decisions in favor of City in the last 18 months alone).
Not in consistency but corruption
Trossard picked up not one but TWO stupid yellows. It is very much on him as a player to read the referee and act accordingly.
@@ibizawavey8630the problem with that is Oliver’s decision with Doku prior to Trossard indicated that the ref “did not want to cause drama by handing out small yellow cards in a game of that magnitude”. The action in itself is not the problem. It is the consistency
@@ibizawavey8630you’re missing the point. We aren’t complaining about Trossard being sent off. If that’s the rule then so be it, we just have to accept it. But what we can’t accept is when other teams are doing the same thing and it’s going unpunished. Szobo did it the other week. Already on a yellow, commits a foul and then kicks the ball away. No second yellow. Joao Pedro hoofs the ball 30 yards down the field when it’s clearly out of play, no yellow. Doku did it today, no yellow
exactly palmer other week sabozli the other day and many more all on yellows ! delaying restarts no cards !
This season there’s been a total of 28 instances of players delaying the game. There have been 3 cards given - all of them against Arsenal.
Is it far fetched to think that it's a conspiracy?
@@elementalkeed2339 I don’t know. I think it’s one of those things of when teams get a “reputation” for doing something, so the refs look for it more.
It's a disgrace
Deffo more of a reputation I think. Casemiro and David Luiz have harshly had it in recent years. @@enemywithin1295
Arsenal liars. There was card for it in the Brighton game today.
As an Arsenal fan I accept Trossard kicking the ball away and getting a yellow: BUT THEN WHERE WAS DOKU YELLOW FOR DOING EXACT SAME
He actually was speeding the game for you by placing the ball where the free kick was actually supposed to be taken from
@@shkafity6418 it was in the right direction but clearly put away from any arsenal player. He was time wasting
How is Arsenal's 2nd goal allowed, I still can't fathom that fact
Yeah, I agree. However if I'm being kind, it looked like the ref was trying to get them to move the ball back and Doku kicked the ball towards where he was pointing. So he got away with it cause he was technically just doing what the ref wanted 😂
@@nafizahmedratul8131 because the ball went into the net
Trossard kicked the ball as the ref blew the whistle…. He had half a second to react. The ref is a prick don’t forget he didn’t want to send off kovacic last year because he didn’t want to ruin the game…. He didn’t even think twice showing Leo the second yellow card.
Martinelli was on the run too Trossard was hoofing the ball into space to him
It’s not like Oliver needs an excuse to send an Arsenal player off.
In relation to the referee; This is how they sneak bias through. Officiate in the strictest possible “by the book” way for the team you want to fuck over while ignoring the same infringements for the other side. Gives plausible deniability while still tipping the scales.
There’s no bias at all, trossard definitely heard the whistle and booted the ball anyway.
@@Jn.curry10that is his point. City players did the same but they received no card.
@@Jn.curry10 Doku kicked the ball away before the trossard incident - no sanction.
@@BillyG598Doku kicked the ball towards where ref pointed.
Havartz taking Rodri out is ok?
@@NATAR160 he was supposed to pass it to where Rice was. Rodri dived.
What a goal form Calafiori
He said delectable medley of footballing splender before I could type it ffs 🤣
As an Arsenal fan, we do agree that Trossard should be sent off, it’s no question. Rice one can be debated. The problem we have is consistency of the refs. Doku and Kovacic both kicked the ball away to be unpunished, as well as Joao Pedro in the Brighton game. It’s the inconsistency and corruption that is incredibly frustrating. As well as the fact that Michael Oliver has been paid by the city owners to referee their games. Corruption at the highest order. I’m incredibly proud of this team, and what Mikel has and is building
Less than a second between the whistle and kick, he was already in swinging motion. We don't not agree to your ridiculous observation clown
Trossard shouldn't have been sent off when the kick is 0.5s after the whistle, and that whistle was blown when Trossard has already committed and lunged in to continue the game and create a counter. He can't just pull his foot out of the way now.
You're not speaking for Arsenal fans and are clueless 🤡
Won’t blame Trossard what so ever, I’f Doku and Bernardo Silva got yellows for the exact same thing earlier then fine, but they didn’t. Oliver couldn’t wait to send him off.
Can someone explain how Arsenal is the only team getting red cards for kicking balls away, because i know for a fact every other club does the same, but arent handed reds and yellows for it. The only reason that makes sense to me is match fixing, and Oliver is on some dodgy payroll.
He is publicly on the UAE's payroll. He has been refereeing games in the UAE for their state funded clubs in the last 12 months. What else they've been doing? The sky is the limit for corruption in sport.
Their players misbehaving is the only reason😂
Arsenal throughout that entire game were playing to bend the rules (intentionally hurting city players, time wasting, and kicking the ball away) the accumulation of these offenses results in punishments. Get over it
@@hamzaesat4085 the copium in here is hilarious 😂😂😂
@@rfdm7270intentionally hurting City players are you alright? Name me one bad challenge we put in today? Rodri’s injury is just a plain accident watch it back. Wrestling with an Arsenal player on a corner and his foot gets stuck in the turf it’s just plain unlucky. If someone’s gone studs up on his knee then fair enough that’s wrong but it’s just an accident it happens. The guy who injured Odegaard didn’t mean to either but we just accepted it and moved on
If I was told at the start of the season that we'd be on 11 points after 5 games having played Aston Villa, Spurs and Man City away and that we'd have 2 games where we were down to 10 men for 45 minutes and we'd not lost a game I would've taken it.
Good for you. You're now 4th.
Sheikh Michael Olivier was man of the Match,
So how do the PL and PIGMOL help City to win the League whilst at the same time try to ban them into oblivoion? Can yoy please explain that. I'm having difficulties trying to understand that?
Leandro Trossard kicked the ball away because he didn’t hear when the whistle was blown ⁉️⁉️⁉️
Michael oliver was paid to ref in the UAE the same UAE that own man city. How this guy can ref a man city game is beyond me.
Same ref that;
-Didn’t award Liverpool a penalty last season against City for Doku’s high foot on Macallister
-Allowed a horrendous offside goal to be given for city against Fulham when it’s clearly offside
-Didn’t send Kovacic off last season for two yellow cards last season
- didn’t book Doku or Silva for kicking the ball away
-dubious penalty in the Manchester Derby last season
- Refs games in the UAE
It’s unbelievable really
@mhrlr8945 100% there is so much that is questionable about man city and their ownership. This court case is going to be fascinating
I mean though he did help give you guys the first goal by calling over walker and arguably could have taken off the second for obstruction
So, that directly means he's on the payroll? Call him and refs and general out for their incompetence, saying he favours one team will do absolutely nothing. Arsenal's 1st goal was honestly kind of his fault.
@@mhrlr8945And that weird double yellow he gave Martinelli.
We've played Villa, Spurs and City away in our first 5 games and we're 2 points off top. We're in a great position with Odegaard and Merino to come back from injury to push on!
Haaland at the end trolling gabriel was hillarious.
City celebrating a draw at their home against 10 men Arsenal is the ultimate troll you muppet. Small club mentality
There should be no yellow cards for kicking the ball away. To send a guy off for kicking the ball away is absurd. Sending guys off for disagreeing with the ref the same. These officials are losing the run of themselves.
Also an Arsenal fan. I dont for a second buy that Trossard should be sent off.
When you’re in the lead at the Etihad with only seconds left till half time. You really are in the zone of give everything to “get rid of it”, you go in for a tackle, don’t hear the whistle and in the same motion (basically), boot the ball away.
How is that a yellow. HOW IS THAT A YELLOW?
I can always rely on Rory to make me feel better with arsenal 😂
When Arsenal win the league against all odds, it will be bittersweet.
You're insane if you believe Trossard deserved a secon yellow.
100% a yellow. Read the rules muppet boy
You are insane if you believe those arsenal goals were fair 😂
Trossard hang his head in shame? The referee had the whistle in his mouth as he kicked the ball, in the 6th min of stoppage time in the first half by the way. No idea what you’re talking about Rory

@@mrraiz390Surely it was City scraping a draw lmao
He knows arsenal get him views. Fair play
I think oliver adding 7 minutes in the half of football that had the most ball in play since the beginning of the season explains all of his descions today
I think they should introduce a blue card where they get sent off for like 10 minutes. Because sending someone off for tapping the ball is just madness
were not moaning about the red were moaning about the consistency
No Rory, watch it again and try to turn your brain on. He wasn't kicking the ball away, he clearly thought the ball was still active. Or maybe he saw two City players kick the ball away and that pathetic excuse of a referee not do anything, and then only decide to start issuing yellows once his cheque from Abu Dhabi cleared.
Apparently the yellow wasn’t for kicking the ball away. It was for the foul.
Rory,at this rate, must be an inside Arsenal fan
Nah! You should have seen his reaction to the game. He hates the gunners. Arsenal topic just gets a lot of views these days.
The best team? A team that has won nothing? Lmao ok then
“Delectable medley of footballing splendor”🔥🔥🔥..love to hear that phrase everytime
Tbf as an Arsenal I’d accept the Trossard red card but it’s funny that Webb last year said that he didn’t think Taylor should ruin the game last season with the Kovacic red card. It’s a joke if I’m honest 😂😂😂😂
Red cards for "delaying the restart" in the last 5 seasons... 2, Rice and Trossard
5 seasons would still be ridiculous let alone 5 games!
3 actually tomiyaso at
crystal place
@mattsoslatt4777 That wasn't delaying restart that was barely touching Ayew lol. First yellow was too long on throw in but 2nd was the Ayew foul
I guarantee nobody else gets a never red for delaying the restart this season, guarantee it
Best defense, sure! But I think a fully fit City is still the best team in country! I mean people say it's arguably the best team in the world, right? Like tied with Real Madrid?
This new law on delaying the restart of the game has to be situated in proper context. Yes, Trossard kicked the ball away after he fouled Bernardo Silva who was still on the turf, so how does Trossard's kick constitute a delay to a quick restart? Certainly, Trossard's action is entirely different from that of Declan Rice, for which the Ref Mike Oliver ought to have applied common sense and not being capricious with his card and in the end ruined the game for everyone.
If Man City fell in a barrel of manure they would come out smelling of roses. For Arsenal to hold on to the lead with 10 men for that long against arguably the best team in the world at their own gaff, was amazing and they used a clever tactic to do it. Shame about the equalizer. 🙁
Last year Michael Oliver for the balatant Kovacic tacle on Rice: "i didn't want to ruin the game"....And today dear Michael...🤔
I completely agree with you Rory towards Trossard. However, most arsenal fans are more upset with the consistency. We all saw what happened with doku today. Last year that same ref did not want to send of kovacic to not ruin the game. It’s embarrassing with how inconsistent these refs are
Arsenal clearly the best side in the country? No.
Ahhh, its the kiss of death -- the Rory endorsement 😂😂😂
I was born in 2007 and I’ve never been so happy and in love with an arsenal team before like this. We have come such a long way and I’m so proud of every single player on that pitch.
Trossard was in kicking motion when the Ref blew the whistle ffs. Doku blatantly kicked the ball away !
It felt like Arsenal v Man Utd 2004. Barclays.
Kai Havertz completed 0 passes. Absolutely mind blowing.
How was this the game of the season when it wasn't even the game of the day? 😭 Brighton 2-2 Nottingham Forest was FOOTBALL
The problem isn't inconsistency, it's the lack of common sense by referees. Trossard was still in playmode when he kicked the ball, plus the referee should have already blown the half-time whistle anyway. Trossard kicked the ball a millisecond after the whistle blew.
The best thing for Arsenal fans is they have already played villa, spurs and city away and got 7pts from those tough games in their first 5 league games. They have also played Atalanta away and kept a clean sheet in 4 of their first 6 games with 4 of those games being some of the toughest away games you could play in Europe. And whilst missing their captain and one of the best playmakers in the world hence why odegaard is ranked in the top 20 players in the world one of 4 arsenal players in the balon dor shortlist. People can happily hate Arsenal all they want but they have possibly the best defence in Europe. And they just need to sign a top class forward and one more top calss midfielder then they have as good a squad as anyone in Europe most importantly they play as a team, not just individuals as a team they are elite now. Anyone still denying that doesn't understand the totalitarianism of football. Plus they have fantastic youngsters coming through and have enough to spend upto £100million in January transfer window.
You’re no pundit this is embarrassing 😂😂😂😂
All those blaming Trossard are infuriating me...man was in motion of kicking the ball away,,what do you expect him to do...watch football you lot
I do watch football, watched it re-watched it and the whistle definitely goes before Trossard deliberately kicks the ball away. It was a blatant pre-mediated intentional foul even before the whistle went he knew it was coming, no sympathy for Arsenal players because I know their manager has no integrity and encourages the dark arts.
@@marcusmurphy1481 Simeone does the dark arts and gets praise for it. Arteta does it and he has no integrity. You must think no manager in football has integrity bcos every team no matter who you are time wastes which is a dark art😂😂
Arsenal the best side in the country? This guy 😃
Trossards foot was already swinging before the whistle was blown. Michael Oliver was dying to send an arsenal player off
This rivalry will fade away as fast as Pep’s hairline as soon as City gets relegated this season for cooking the books and paying off the referees association. And I will be there 💀🍿
If any other team did that you'd call them bottlejobs
If any other team unfairly went down to 10 men at the etihad, a stadium where a prem team hasn’t won in over a year are bottle jobs for getting a draw you lot let arsenal hate blind you it’s hilarious

Bottled what…. 10 men down to the best team in the world?????? And walked out 2-2? If anything, City should have won. Any other team in the league and City are eating. You lemon.
Yes if it was Arsenal getting the second goal at the last minute against 10 man in homeground and then celebrate then people will call them a bottlejob having loser mentality
That's a bit tough on City. They tried their best.
This feels like the beginning of the city empire crumbling.
The amazing development for arsenal is amazing. Arsenal lost at the Etihad 3 years ago 5-0 now we are disappointed that we didn't win there that is spectacular for arteta and arsenal.
He accept that he was wrong about haaland and then decide to put a title like this?? 😂😂
*Arsenal is the best team in the country. WTF*
Havertz didnt complete a single pass in 90 min, Forget the fact that arsenal played 11.5v10, was more like 11.5v9. (0.5 M.Oliver)
13 the ref n lines man
It's bad enough this rule about kicking the ball away is only applied to Arsenal (3x in as many games), but do we really want football to be decided on this? A warning and everyone moves on. Howard Webb said the point of this strict rule is that "people want to see a good flow to the game". That decision ruined an amazing contest.
Love your stuff Rory. A delectable... :). Tough last minute goal against for us... But, wow, what fun. As a 60 year old Canadian born in skates who only latches onto football in the last 7 years I'll say simply, "I love this game!" That was gold.
Arsenal will never win the league bro...time will tell...
Like Arteta said. He hopes to see most games play with 10 men. This rule must only be for Arsenal right...
Rory, Trosard didn't deserve that card, few players did the same thing today without being booked
Omg I've never heard so much shyte. Rememeber this guy said Haaland wouldn't make it the Premier league
This title is like when you said Haaland would struggle to get 15 goals. Absolute toilet
There will unfortunately be a few that say that Arsenal bottled it again (Buvey ???), however, Man City were fortunate. Arsenal playing nearly 55 minutes with 10 men, less than 3 days after an away Champions league game and at the home of the team that have won the last 4 league titles, that was a phenomenal performance by Arsenal, and the most amazing thing about it ? I think that Arsenal stepped out at the beginning of that second half, truly believing that they were good enough to sit on their own 18 yard line and keep City out. It wasn't the statement win that people are saying that they need, but it certainly was a statement performance. Invincibles again anyone ??? As for impact on the title race, I think City will know that they are in a race again and Arsenal will be believing that this time, they can get it over the line.
This red card feels like the one given to RVP during the CL
Michael Oliver has been paid by the UAE to officiate in their league. Over the course of two games this season he has given an average of 13 fouls per game to arsenal and only 5 per game to city. At what point do we discuss that these refs may be compromised?
He was continuing a play and didn’t even hear the whistle coz it was late!! I can’t believe people feel Trossard is at fault
That has been the Premier League’s WWE on Manchester City and Arsenal, because Hulk Hogan could beat Ric Flair or The Rock could beat Triple H.
Hello, Chuma here from South Africa. We may have witnessed the emergence of a high caliber football rivalry that's never been witnessed before. Before the Arab takeover of city, they were midwives. They tapped Arsenal's best talents on their way to supremacy downgrading Arsenal to the midwifery position. Now the GOONERS are back and the Manchester crown must fall. Do you agree, as an outsider?
Arsenal without Merino and Odegaard, city without KDB. Have we closed the gap? Arsenal was about to win, with 10 men and without their Captain and summer signing. Unreal.
We didn’t have saka either
City didn't have Rodri, Walker is only used to deal with pacy players. The truth is, this game means nothing to decide who's the club, since there were too many circumstances.

Our defence is definitely better than City’s, can confidently say that. However our attack is so far away from City. We’ve got a champions league level defence and a mid table attack. City have a champions league attack and defence
But the rule is not employed consistently. The rule seems to only apply to Arsenal which is unfair. That is why I don’t blame Trossard, also he kicked it like 0.5 seconds after whistle was blown, seemed he was playing a pass across the field to Martinelli and didn’t react in t8me to whistle to stop. Doku and Silba kicked ball away and ref ignored it. The only stupid boy in this game was Michael Oliver, ruining what would have been a fun and exciting game between two of the best teams in England.
Gooner here. Trossard cost us the win. No reason to make a challenge like that. Especially on a yellow. Good on our defense. Best in the league.
It is easier for a ref to give a second yellow to an Arsenal player then give any non Arsenal player the first yellow. Yeah but dont talk about refs

Overall super proud of the team. Tough circumstances, hell of a defensive performance.
I'm fine with the sending off, just like Rice's, it's the rules, but man, I need to see the consistency. That's the frustrating bit.
Absolute banger from Calafiori. Yeesh.
What if Trossard did not hear the whistle and all the guy was doing is clearing the ball
Trossard kicked the ball, Rice kicked the ball… in both istances, a similar incident had happened previously and went uncautioned. Would Arsenal players have kicked the ball if there had been a yellow for the first incident? Players adapt their game to the ref behaviour, it’s just how it goes. If they see immediately a ref likes to draw cards they will commit less fouls. If they see refs don’t caution kicking the ball, why wouldn’t they?
By the way, Trossard way kind of continuing his action, while Doku went to kick the ball away on purpose. But Arsenal always gets the red. That is the only piece of consistency
The problem here is the massive xonflict of interest that the ref has based on his very recent financial interests with the City Group. Even if there is no actual corruption, the potential appearance of aomeone being conflicted and compromised is normally enough in a proper business to be kept away from certain situations. It's a joke
wtf you mean they’re the best team 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 before the ref became the center of attention, city was dominating and on their way to an easy 3 points. I’m glad I stopped taking any of your opinions seriously
He said before the red card are you deaf? Arsenal were 2-1 up at the Etihad and dominating city
Dominating ? Am I drunk or was it 2-1 to arsenal heading to half time city had 1 shot on target 😆
On their way to an easy 3 points ??? Arsenal were winning 2-1 before the red card and was on top
With 11 men we would’ve gone on to win that game bcos even tho we would’ve defended deep, we would’ve had men to get us out and on the attack.
Talking about celebrating a draw. The arsenal team celebrated each goal like the have already won the epl title last year when other teams do it that not good? What double standards 😂
They might have a shout for being the best 'defensive' side in the country ....
I dont think this would have been the title for the video if it werent for that Rodri injury. If Rodri doesnt get injured I think City would have won comfortably.
Im tired of all the 😮inconsistencies .. It's ruining the game .. with such tight margins .. but seeing City fans celebrate a draw .. thats shows u something 😂 proud of The Arsenal 10 ..
Every clubs fans will celebrate a draw, if it means not losing the game ..... and City don't often have to score 98th minute equalisers ......... Arsenal defended well, they HAD to, but in no way did they actually deserve to win this game.
Please check the replay and see if Trossard had enough time time to respond to the whistle. Rebecca Lowe said on air that the yellow card was initially for the barge. This was taken from audio of the video assistant. It conveniently then changed for kicking the ball away. Fairness does not shift reasons like that. These refs need to get their mistakes cleared up by stop trying to fool us. Be consistent and take bias out of football. 😮
Delectable Medley of North London Footballing Splendour
We need consistancy from the shitty referees. Doku and Silva were not booked for the same thing that Trossard was booked. Hilarious

I appreciate your opinion about Trossard being smarter but we know that this rule is absolutely BS in the way it is executed. It’s a joke. It’s BS. It’s ridiculous.
I really enjoy your as neutral as possible point of views. As a Liverpool-supporter, I also try to go for that tactic of being neutral when speaking to other fans. It's not easy :D
And I totally agree that statistics are not everything. If it was, Brentford would win The Premier League.
Trossard did is job. Clear the ball.
Rory the undercover arsenal fan
you can’t say bad officiating wasn’t going both ways. The first goal for arsenal was horrific officiating. He calls over walker then while he is out of position allows arsenal to take the quick free kick. It is an insane finish but probably wouldn’t have happened if walker was in position. And then for the 2nd goal you could see 2 players obstructing ederson. People are letting their emotions getting ahead and not looking at the match fairly as most teams supporters in the league don’t want city to win. Just my thoughts though
Wrong City are the best side in the country thats why Arsenal defended majority of the game and are 4th not 1st and not 2nd!
Very frustrating to see refs having an impact on the outcome of games. There are rules and there are situational football. Let them play.
What a horrid match, it wasnt a game of football. Arsenal playing 10 defenders in the second half ruined the game. Also, the amount of fouling/semi-fouling/time-wasting/cheating that Arsenal did, it ruins the sport. I would rather watch Tottenham win 3 nill or lose 3 nill than watch Arsenal. They are boring to watch and very negative. Also, when did people start calling unsportsmanlike behaviour the dark arts?
Arteta has no integrity he deliberately instructs his payers to indulge in unsportsmanlike behaviour.
No one’s gonna talk about martinelli blocking the gk he done the same from a earlier corner gabriel headed it wide
