Ex Criminal from Norfolk here. Police only care about keeping the downtown area and hospital area along Brambleton safe. Everything else is practically fair play for them. Won’t show up until after something happens and won’t be very helpful. Ocean view has regular police patrol as well, they’re mostly unmarked but do deter a lot that takes place out there.
