Thank you for this video. I heard you mention before that we need to stop wearing sun glasses…..but my eye Dr said that wearing them would help to prevent Macular Degeneration. Please comment if you have thoughts on this. I have a strong history of this disease in my family. I am 65 years old. Thank you!
Shelly , I do too, my dad had it later in life, on top of I am blue eyed and diabetic. My doctor said because of the low pigment in my eyes to wear glasses in the sun. I gwt wiggles in my eyes if I dont. Im 62.
When I lived in Southeast Asia I went through a phase of ditching the sunglasses because "we need sunlight to go directly in the eye" etc. I ended up with minor bleeding in the retina and a series of three eye injections (costly, painful, and not much fun). I'd say it's okay to get some sun exposure first thing in the morning, incl. a bit of INdirect sun in the eyes. At other times, please use sunglasses.
I have cataract and glaucoma and being outside without any glasses and doing eye exercises has strengthen my eyes and lowered my glaucoma. Of course, you don’t look at the sun but close your eyes when you want to sun them. Clear Sight Method RUclips is the best!! Even my prescription went down. My IOP went down. Just still working on my cataract I had since I was in my 20’s from eye drops. I am 64 years young!!!
Curious if you have blue eyes. I know those with blue eyes are more at risk to damage their vision. Confusing I know getting different info. Wish there were references.
She did mention rubbing it on the outside lid of your eye…..but you may want to go back to verify. I am pretty sure she did not say to put it in your eye.
An eye doctor has recommended that I have Laser peripheral iridotomy - because I am at risk of angle-closure glaucoma and have one lazy eye. I am not sure about it at all
Great information but you did not mention the use of garlic which is widely used in Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia turkey Iran and all these hot countries they use garlic as a medicine to correct her eyesight
Great eye-opening info, thanks ✌😎

My eye doctor told me to wear sunglasses because I have bad eye allergies. I'll listen to my eye doctor.
I've also heard this about MD, although I wasn't told directly. I always wear shades to decrease the risk. Hope she'll reply.

Soft early morning sun only is best for your eyes. Once the sun brightens later in the morning it can cause cataract over time.
Keep grinding!
Thanks for watching! - Team Dr. Janine!
My eye doctor told me to wear sun glasses to slow down the progression of cataracts.

Omg DONT!!! think she meant EYELIDS!!! for it to soak in!😢
Put on your lids!! My eyelashes grew when I started using it u don't want it in your eyes tho
She did initially say eyeballs, which got my attention. But then she said eyelids in the next sentence and the model was rubbing it on her eyelids.
caster oil "right on your eyeballs" or eyelids??
No On your eyelids only!😊

Sunlight is only good for our eyes in the morning or evening when it's gentler. Hot Sun Rays from Noon to 6 PM will harm your corneas. Please beware!
So when you rub your hands together and kept them over your eyes, are your eyes supposed to be open or closed?
