    For 1 person setup, you can stake the 1 leg in place and lift the opposite corner and pull. Also the corner velcro can be attached before expanding the frame.

    it's a good little pop up canopy however by no means is it waterproof or resistant. If you want a bit of rain protection I suggest spraying the cloth with a waterproof spray such as scotch guard.. otherwise for the price you can't go wrong!

    You can add grommets to the fabric to you can make a much more secure connection of the fabric to the frame, and if you wish to use the "velcro", get some higher grade/stronger velcro and use that, only costs a few bucks.. Grommet kits cheap as $5. Then to secure the legs, connect the bottom corner of the legs using turn buckles and wire rope between them. Add some quality stakes (lag bolts with "S" hooks work really well for rope and you should use 2 ropes not 1 for each corner.) and a lag bolt for the footer into the ground. Keeping them lower so don't trip on them and leaving one side open for easy access. But will get best result if you attach wire rope about waste high. (and an even stronger connection would be creating an "X" with the wire rope and turnbuckles than simply connecting horizontally) This will give a "semi-solid" structure that will hold up to regular rain showers and storm. But not snow. For $15-20 you can stop your canopy and investment from blowing away. Sometimes thunderstorms do just "pop-up". Best of luck everyone.

      We had snow, lots for two years in a row! I would just go periodically (depending on how hard it was falling) and take the bristle side of a broom to the top fabric from the inside and pop the snow off. Stayed intact except for one that was really bad over night, but still was in good shape. A slight bend to an upper metal pole is all. Still in use 2 years later.

    Also…. You would be surprised even un staked it can handle a pretty good breeze so staked down it can probably handle a 40 mph wind like a champ. At 60 mph wind nothing becomes safe anymore. So stake it down and your good.

    They need to make the welds much stronger at the feet where the stakes go through the holes, however it’s a good product. I expect one day mine will blow away because of this. However if ozark trail address this issue I would definitely buy another one when this happens. I will check the welds right there on the spot in Walmart. If the welds are thicker and stronger I will buy again.

    • @vinnycrissy
      @vinnycrissy  Год назад

      We haven't brought it to the beach but I'm sure you can. You would just have to be sure to secure it with some type of weight (maybe sandbags) as I would think those small metal stakes wouldn't hold to well in the sand especially if your living in a windy location.

      @@Athena25252 Straight legs is actual 10'x10' (100 sq ft total coverage) whereas slant legs is 10'x10' base with 8'x8' canopy (64 sq ft coverage), so it's smaller which is why it's cheaper.

    That doesn’t seem very Instant to me. It should have the canopy already on. So that all you have to do is extend it and done.
